Chapter 102: Chapter 102; Why did you come in?

"You shouldn’t have told her so soon, you never learned your lesson!" Huo Qi sarcastically smirked, watching as Tang Fei went upstairs, leaving them behind at the dining table, he couldn’t keep things from her since she wanted to attend that banquet.

He needed to prepare her mentally and seeing her reaction and response, it seemed like she didn’t want to hear anything to do with that family.

"She would be fine!" He didn’t know why, but he couldn’t keep anything from her apart from Huo Minghao; that one didn’t seem like a hurdle he could easily pass.

"What do you think could be their reaction when they see her at the banquet?" Huo Qi didn’t know why, but he felt that things seemed to be a bit more complicated. She didn’t seem to care much about family, did she actually change?

They knew Tang Fei could do anything for the Tang family and now that she has a different prominent family, shouldn’t she be enthusiastic towards meeting them or be nervous? Or be happy?

"Do you think they don’t know? What if they are the ones who switched up the kids? What if this conspiracy was their plan?" Secretary Li thought even deeper that if Tang Fei could be moved easily, then it meant the kids and even Sixth Master Huo would fall into danger. That family was a political family with scheming family members.

"Once a heart is disappointed, it won’t yearn for expectations!" That was the emotions he got from Tang Fei. She was nonchalant towards all that because she didn’t want to have any expectations, and above that, the Mu family was prominent. They had enough resources to search for the two of them, and they could have found them much sooner, but things seemed to be deep.

"That could be true! Once someone is disappointed, they would no longer have expectations."

"We will watch them closely tonight! Arrange enough security." He didn’t want to get involved with that family, but he needed to know what was the matter with them to keep his wife safe.

"Okay..."

She got into her bedroom and sat down in the sitting area, she didn’t know what to think of all this! Her sister died, and she reincarnated in her body, which felt so miraculous. But could this mean it was her sister who gave her a second chance to live?

Where could her soul be? What was in her mind when she gave up? What did she wish for?

She didn’t know if she had failed as a big sister or if it was their family who had failed them! She felt guilty, recalling that the Mu family could have found them much sooner but they chose not to look for them and probably never wanted them back to that family.

But what if they were biologically related to that family but they were just illegitimate children gotten out of wedlock by mistresses? She wasn’t going to recognize anyone.

She exhaled loudly, "Let’s live this life to the fullest! I hope, sister, you will be happy; I hope you will accompany me in this lifetime and in the next life, get reborn to another better, caring family." She didn’t want to think about her past and the original Tang Fei’s, it was better if they focused on the future.

They both lacked maternal love, they didn’t have any parents who could wholeheartedly love them. But now, she had Huo Ting Cheng and her kids; she felt it was enough for her, and she was grateful.

She pushed all that to the back of her mind, got up, and walked over to the closet; she opened all the wardrobes that contained dresses; there were so many of them stacked up tightly.

She removed them and tossed them onto the bed. She hadn’t worn a dress and didn’t know what she would look like with it on, but today, it was that day. She needed to look elegant and sophisticated beside her husband.

With the terrible rumors about her that have been spreading in society, she needed to prove everyone wrong; they had to look at her and envy her.

After she had placed them on the bed, she picked them one by one and could tell that Sixth Master Huo really adored Tang Fei; he had bought her favorite color and her exact size. Everything was exquisite.

Gazing at the clothes, she felt more guilty that she was using her sister’s body to continue living! What could have happened if she wasn’t her sister? Could her sister have wished for this?

She picked up a black dress and checked it out; it wasn’t up to her taste with the way it was designed or something she could wear in front of people at a formal function; it looked so gloomy.

She removed her tracksuit and began wearing them one by one so that she could choose what was suitable for that occasion.

Having some difficulties, she went back to the wardrobes and picked up another batch she could try on.. she tossed them onto the bed.

She was bent over searching through the clothes, when she suddenly felt some arms wrapping around her waist.

She instinctively straightened her back, and since she was naked, wearing only a bra and pants, she profusely blushed in embarrassment.

"Why did you come in?" Can’t he give her some privacy? But she forgot one thing and that was for the fact she was his wife. It wasn’t a crime to see her naked.

"I came over to assist you! What can’t I see?" He turned her around and held her in his arms, he pressed his lips against his. It was abnormal if he didn’t react to seeing her naked.

This was a woman he had loved for so many years; anything about her would always entice him. He passionately kissed her as her chest rubbed against his chest, and he could feel those soft blossoms.
