Chapter 122: Chapter 122; Good morning everyone

"It’s jammed if you want to call her, try that other phone to contact her!" Huo Wu was well-versed in the situation and could tell a place like that had to have a network jam.

"Oooh... Xu Xie got the other satellite phone and, copying the mobile phone number from her phone, she directly called Tang Fei. Tang Fei, who was waiting for the two companies’ workers to arrive, suddenly heard her mobile phone vibrate.

She knew it had to be Xu Xie who was calling her as she had sent them over to the secret house.

"Hello..." She got up from her seat and strode out of the boardroom into the hallway and strode towards the reception desk.

"Tang Fei, how can you be a momma when you have abandoned your baby in such a terrible place? And on top of that, she is sick!" An angered voice echoed from the other side of the phone call. Tang Fei slightly panicked hearing Twilight wasn’t feeling well.

"I do have some special herbs inside the other lower compartment that’s beneath the couches; some of them brew for her to drink, some are a powder form, spread on her wounds, and the other one is a herbal pill, let her take two of them... Please, Xu Xie, watch over her until she feels better; tell me if she becomes serious." She immediately hung up before someone tapped into her call and listened to her conversation.

She didn’t believe that Sixth Master Huo wasn’t curious about last night’s affairs.

She went back into the boardroom, and Xu Xie got herself busy, assisted by Huo Wu. Since her friend assigned her these duties, she had to fulfill them.

After twenty minutes, most of the employees arrived plus the artists.

"Good morning, everyone; I will go straight to the point! I will be managing these two entities as I will be the sole owner, I have already fired two employees who I wasn’t happy with, all the managers I want to see your artist portfolios, the amount they earn, their assistants, and the Projects they are currently working on, and then, I hate scandals, if you know you have some dirty laundry in your closet, please speak up and then we will see how to handle the situation, all the artists are allowed to speak up! Say if your manager is treating you well or not, and if you aren’t satisfied, you can speak up! And then, if you know you have been using your status to bully other artists you would have to find another home to host you because here, I will be giving everyone equal opportunities." She wasn’t going to favor anyone; it would be their perfection in their areas of work.

With passion and talent, each would get resources.

The manager who was closest to her stood up and brought her iPad over to her.

"My artists haven’t been doing well. They have some potential, but they always snatch our resources, and we are left with none!" She was a lady and wasn’t afraid to state the truth.

Tang Fei looked at her portfolio; it definitely was doing badly as most of the artists had been shadowed and others banned but still stuck in the company because of the contract that binds them.

"You can take a seat and let the artists stand up!" She waved her hand, and the lady in question sat down, gazing at her artists! She had the potential, but all the time, they had been oppressed and hadn’t managed to produce any positive results; she was standing up for herself and for her artists; she didn’t care if she would be fired or retained.

Looking at the artists, they were young and looked better than Mu Wanrou with delicate and beautiful features.

"Come over here..." She waved her hand, signaling them to move over, and they nervously got closer; they knew they lacked resources and opportunities, but who would blame them? They didn’t have any powerful backups and neither came from a rich family background, and they had rejected using any orthodoxy methods to gain resources.

She held the first artist’s hand; he was a young boy but looked quite prettier than most females; she checked out his long, jade-like fingers; this was what had attracted her.

"What’s your talent!" She let go, feeling her sweaty palms while he slightly trembled. He rarely had anyone hold his hands, so this gesture slightly made him nervous and shy.

"Modeling, and I can dance too..." He nervously responded as his voice shook with his head bowed. He wasn’t that confident in himself after getting shadowed for the last one year, he had lost hope and wished he could find means to break the contract.

"Write down, he has some long good fingers that can do well in jewelry modeling. Arrange that, and you better start practicing and gain your confidence; the next time I see you, I want to see a changed person; go and sit down." She waved her hand, and the artist went back to sit. She went through the artists and inquired about the reasons for being shadowed and banned, but none were appealing or reasonable.

They spent the entire day going through the portfolios; now, she only needed to hack and clean up any matters that could blacken her artists. She didn’t want any negative materials resurfacing for her artists as they would be starting afresh.

"We need managers and more artists to replace the ones I just kicked out, I want the two of you to go over to the art school and try to recruit some, I want boybands and girl bands to be created, Huo Qi, I want the next Fashion Show of the Huo company to accommodate all the artists we have here, and then from there, we can know their stronghold and weaknesses. The meeting is adjourned!" She stood up and lazily stretched her body out, she doesn’t recall for how long she has been sitting but long enough to feel her butt muscles cramped and numb.
