Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 482; Honeymoon
She laughed at his matter-of-fact tone and carried the bikini to the bathroom to change.
She gazed at that image across the mirror... She looked perfect but still, there was evidence of what had transpired last night on her body. She wasn’t bothered with it. It’s not like she was doing with someone else’s man.
When she emerged several minutes later, Huo Ting Cheng’s breath caught audibly. The emerald fabric created a stunning contrast against her flawlessly pale skin, and the carefully designed cut of the suit accentuated every natural curve of her body.
He felt particularly satisfied about having insisted on that comprehensive body grooming session at the exclusive spa last month, her skin was smooth perfection everywhere, including areas that this revealing suit would have otherwise exposed with less flattering results.
She looked like she’d stepped directly out of a high-fashion magazine photoshoot.
"You’re staring," she observed with amusement, though she clearly didn’t sound displeased by his obvious appreciation. He was her man. Her husband...
"I’m appreciating art," he corrected smoothly, pulling on his own swim shorts, simple black trunks that hung attractively low on his hips. You could see that V line that was leading down to her happiness.
He was truly handsome and attractive... His muscles were proportionate. They put on their sandals.
They made their way downstairs together and out through the expansive glass doors that opened directly onto their private stretch of pristine beach.
The sand was perfectly maintained and pleasantly warm beneath their bare feet as Huo Ting Cheng carried the sandals, the water displaying a perfect clear turquoise color that practically begged them to enter.
Tang Fei noticed the security presence immediately, guards positioned with professional discretion along the perimeter, several even standing in the shallow water at strategic points, attempting to appear casual but clearly maintaining vigilant duty.
"Is all this security really necessary?" she asked, gesturing toward the visible protection detail.
"Yes," Huo Ting Cheng replied with absolute firmness. "Yes, it’s absolutely necessary."
She didn’t argue further. She understood the complicated reality of their lives well enough, even if she sometimes wished circumstances could be simpler and less dangerous.
Huo Ting Cheng settled himself comfortably on the warm sand, leaning back on his hands with his posture appearing relaxed but his alert eyes missing nothing. "Go ahead. Swim. Enjoy yourself. I’ll watch from here."
"You’re not coming in with me?"
"I’m thoroughly enjoying the view from precisely here," he replied, his appreciative gaze trailing deliberately and slowly over her bikini-clad body in a way that made her skin warm despite the ocean breeze.
She rolled her eyes but couldn’t suppress her pleased smile as she walked toward the inviting water.
The first touch of small waves against her feet was deliciously cool, creating a perfect contrast to the hot afternoon sun beating down. She waded in progressively deeper, the water rising incrementally to her knees, then her thighs, then finally her waist.
When the depth was sufficient, she dove smoothly under the surface, the refreshing coolness enveloping her completely in a welcome embrace. It felt absolutely amazing, refreshing, cleansing, invigorating in ways that went beyond the merely physical.
She surfaced with an audible gasp of pure pleasure, her dark hair slicked back sleekly, crystalline water streaming down her glowing face.
From his carefully chosen position on the beach, Huo Ting Cheng watched her with completely undisguised admiration.
The way she moved through the water, graceful, confident, utterly free, was genuinely mesmerizing to observe. The brilliant sun caught the water droplets clinging to her skin, making her practically shimmer like something mythical.
The bikini, now thoroughly wet, clung to her curves in ways that made his mouth go dry and his pulse quickened despite his outward calmness.
She was beautiful. His wife was absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful.
Tang Fei swam for nearly a full two hour, alternating between lazy floating on her back and more energetic swimming strokes.
The sustained exercise felt wonderful, systematically working out the lingering stiffness remaining from the previous night’s passionate intensity.
The cool water soothed her sore muscles better than any medication, and she felt herself relaxing completely for the first time in weeks, all tension draining away.
Finally, feeling pleasantly tired but thoroughly refreshed, she made her way back toward shore with easy strokes. Huo Ting Cheng stood as she approached, holding out a large, fluffy towel in ready anticipation.
"Feel better?" he asked as she wrapped herself gratefully in the soft fabric.
"Much better," she confirmed with genuine enthusiasm, her face glowing with healthy exertion and pure happiness. "That was exactly what I needed."
He studied her carefully for a thoughtful moment, then said, "How would you feel about having dinner somewhere particularly special tonight?"
"How special are we talking?" she asked with immediate suspicion.
A mysterious smile touched his lips, transforming his usual stern features. "Very special. Come on."
They walked together along the beach to a private dock where an impressive yacht was waiting, crew members standing at attention. The vessel was stunning, sleek white with polished chrome details, easily sixty feet long, the kind of luxury that spoke of serious wealth.
The professional crew bowed respectfully as they boarded, and within minutes the powerful engines roared to life with a deep, satisfying rumble. They began cutting smoothly through the azure water toward a small island visible in the distance, the bow slicing through the waves with elegant precision.
Instead of staying on the lower deck, Huo Ting Cheng held Tang Fei’s hand firmly and led her up the stairs to the open top deck of the yacht. "Come, the view is better up here."
The upper deck was spacious and beautifully appointed with comfortable white cushioned seating arranged around low teak tables. The late afternoon sun painted everything in golden light, and the sea breeze was perfect, warm but refreshing, carrying the scent of salt and freedom.
They settled into one of the plush seating areas, Tang Fei intending to sit beside him to gaze at the stunning ocean view. But Huo Ting Cheng had other ideas.
Before she could get comfortable, he pulled her into his arms with gentle but insistent hands. One hand slid to cup the back of her neck, his fingers threading through her still-damp hair, and he leaned down to capture her lips in a slow, thorough kiss.
She tasted like salt from the ocean, like sunshine and freedom, and he couldn’t resist savoring her. His tongue traced her lower lip before delving deeper, claiming her mouth with leisurely possession that made her knees weak.
When he finally pulled back, Tang Fei was breathless and flushed, acutely aware of their surroundings. "Geez! So many people!" she protested with shy indignation, punching his bare chest lightly as their yacht passed several other boats and smaller yachts in the water. People were definitely looking their way. This yacht was huge and exceptional, impossible to miss. "Everyone can see us!"
"Don’t mind their existence," he murmured against her temple, completely unbothered by the audience. "You should be entirely occupied with me."
His hands guided her to sit between his legs, her back against his chest, and he wrapped his arms around her waist possessively. She leaned back into him naturally, fitting perfectly against his body, and he rested his chin on her shoulder.
It was intimate and perfect, the two of them wrapped together, the ocean spreading endlessly before them, the yacht cutting through the water with smooth power.
"This is nice," Tang Fei admitted softly, her hands covering his where they rested on her stomach.
"Mmm," he agreed, pressing a kiss to her bare shoulder.
As they passed another yacht, Tang Fei heard excited voices carrying over the water.
"Wow! Look at that yacht! It’s gorgeous!"
"Look at that couple there on the deck... so romantic!"
"That woman is so beautiful! And that man... wow..."
Tang Fei felt her cheeks heat, but Huo Ting Cheng only chuckled, the sound vibrating through his chest against her back. "See? Even strangers can recognize how beautiful you are."
"Stop," she murmured, embarrassed but pleased.
One of the yacht crew, a young woman in crisp white uniform, approached discreetly. "Master Huo, Mrs. Huo, may I offer you refreshments?"
"What would you like?" Huo Ting Cheng asked Tang Fei.
"Something cold and fruity?" she suggested.
"Two tropical fruit juices, please," Huo Ting Cheng ordered. "And perhaps some fresh fruit as well."
"Of course, sir. Right away."
The crew member returned moments later with a tray bearing two tall glasses of vibrant juice, mango, passion fruit, and pineapple blended with ice, and a beautiful platter of sliced tropical fruit arranged artfully.
She placed it on the low table beside them and retreated silently.
Huo Ting Cheng reached for one of the glasses and brought it to Tang Fei’s lips. "Here, drink."
"I can hold it myself," she protested.
"I know. But let me take care of you."
She relented, parting her lips to let him tip,..
