Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 88; You don’t have to blame yourself
Chapter 88: Chapter 88; You don’t have to blame yourself
He walked into the bedroom and could see Tang Fei was sound asleep, what if they did a body tissue DNA test? They could find other distinctive results that could show the exact relationship they shared. But he would wait until she woke up and talk it out.
"Father, you are looking at her like a hungry wolf that’s looking at its prey ready to hunt! Are you planning to eat her alive?" Huo Zhihao snapped his eyes open; he couldn’t sleep no matter what; he had too many things in mind.
"Can’t I look at my wife? What is it with you if I want to eat her?" He grumpily responded, caressing her fringes and moving them to the side.
"Ting Cheng..."
"Can you let me sleep? You are making a lot of noise!" She hoarsely spoke up and Sixth Master Huo kissed her cheek before glaring at Huo Zhihao
"Geez!" Huo Zhihao smacked his lips in annoyance! His father was becoming touchy with their mother more often.
"Let’s go out to the dining room and let the nurses tend to your mother’s wounds." He picked him up from the bed and strolled out leaving the nurses behind.
Huo Zhihao was getting better and he didn’t have any intravenous needle as the nurses had removed it and wrapped the wound. He was done with those drips.
They went over to the dining area; they had all settled at the table while the maids brought breakfast that they had prepared and began serving them, minding about their allergies.
He placed him on the dining seat before pushing it in getting closer to the dining table.
"Go on with your breakfast, I will get back." He gently tapped on Secretary Li’s shoulders dragging him away.
They went over to the stairs and climbed up to the first floor.
"I want you to assist me in checking her room out and see if we can find anything useful! We need to know if she has been doing some underhanded work." They went over to the bedroom. They looked around searching the entire sitting area first before going anywhere else.
They found several tiny pieces of coded words that had been hidden in the cushions beneath the zips inside the sponge cushions. Sixth Master Huo picked up the entire cushion, placed it on the coffee table, unzipped it, and tore the cover away before gazing at the small cuts that were made in the cushions. The notes were deeply hidden, stuck into those cuts; apart from those codes, they found several bottles of medicine.
From the outside, they seemed to be just normal pills, but something was telling him it wasn’t as simple as it looked. Once they were done with the cushions, they went over to her bedroom.
They lifted the mattress, and it was clean beneath; he removed the mattress cover and unzipped the mattress clothing, and there, he could see several pieces of torn paper that belonged to a book; with how black and white they were, they were printed homework booklets.
They collected everything and even found a different phone, it was a satellite phone, Sixth Master Huo had bought normal phones and iPads for them but never a satellite phone. This was untraceable.
To hide herself so deeply, she had someone she communicated with daily and gave her guidelines and guidance on what she needed to do to stay safe.
"How could such a young child do all these?" These findings shocked Secretary Li; these were hidden places that neither Huo Ting Cheng could have time to check, and neither could the maids, as they always vacuum-cleaned them on top of the bed covers. ƒreewebηoveℓ.com
"This is Minghao’s handwriting! Why did she have to do this?" Checking those torn pieces of paper, he could identify Minghao’s handwriting from miles away, gazing at the dates. This wasn’t recent work, and this seemed to be a normal thing she had been doing to Minghao, and Minghao had never reported to him about all this.
Why did she keep quiet if her homework was being stolen and torn into pieces?
"I have been truly negligent!" He loudly sighed pitying himself! How could he raise a viper in his home without knowing? He gave her everything! He gave her all the luxuries, all the love and care; why would she still do this?
"Do you know if they succeeded in getting rid of your wife and Zhihao, it was Minghao and probably it was on progress plan but they were thrown off guard when Tinghao and Feihao showed up, once Tang Fei, Zhihao, and Minghao were out, next it was you, with depression, you wouldn’t know when you will be poisoned to death! Everything would be left to her! This could be their entire plan! They must have schemed for your properties." Secretary Li spoke up his mind as they collected more evidence that showed Huo Minghao was their enemy they didn’t know they were rearing.
"That’s a datura flower?" When she had requested him to rear that flower that hadn’t produced even one leaf, he agreed since she had said it was a gift from her friend, but now, seeing it fully grown, it was datura! How could he have not seen all these signs that were obviously glaring at him? She could be the reason why Minghao had hallucinations at the stairs.
He weakly sat on the bed! After all these years, she was so ruthless, did she already know she wasn’t their daughter?
"You don’t have to blame yourself. You wouldn’t have known all these, and luckily, your wife came around, and that’s why all these things just exposed themselves!" He roughly tapped on his shoulders comforting him.
"I know! But do you know what were the repercussions? She didn’t spare Huo Minghao who they closely related with each other! What kind of mess was this?" He couldn’t believe it, and if it wasn’t for Huo Feihao, who spoke up about the possibility of Huo Minghao having hallucinations, he wouldn’t have found out about all this.
