When Heng Shuai was in her second year at the university, she told Bai Jian that she was pregnant. Both he and I were about to graduate from college and he had plans on studying further abroad but when he heard of her pregnancy, he dropped everything for her. He assured her that she didn’t need to give up her whole life for the child and he would help her as much as he could for her to complete her studies.

Fu Mingze nodded and replied "The test proved he wasn’t the father. That was the first day I saw him looked so shattered. He confronted her and she said that it was a mistake, she went out partying that night and got too drunk. Bai Jian ended things with her for some weeks but he never stopped loving her, he was ready to accept the child as his own and even asked her to marry him but she turned him down, saying she didn’t deserve him. That day was the last day both Bai Jian and I heard from her, he did try searching for her but you must have know how that ended."

"Yang Jia found her letter, saying she wished to go somewhere far with her baby and didn’t want anyone to find her but for her bones to be found in such a place then it must mean someone killed and burial her there. Do you think it was Yang Jia? After all she was the one who found the letter."

"It doesn’t mean it was her. Yang Jia may be mean and hateful but she isn’t a murderer and besides Yang Jia was Heng Shuai’s best friend, they were always seen together at Suwei University." Fu Mingze said defensively.

"Whatever, I don’t want to argue with you and besides it’s not like I’m saying she is a murderer, I just find it suspicious. I have lived with that woman enough to know that she isn’t a saint and instead of supporting your pregnant wife, you are busy defending another woman."

"I agree with you, I was wrong. Since you are suspicious of Yang Jia, I will also be suspicious of her, okay?" Fu Mingze asked amused by his wife’s behavior.

Yang Meiyi nodded with her smile.

"Now can I kiss you?" Fu Mingze asked and without even waiting for a reply he crashed his lips against her and moved on top of her, he devoured her lips while ensuring no pressure was placed on her belly.

"You did it! Gu Corporation just reached out to me, they wish to invest in Yang Corporation." Yang Jiu said excitedly as Yang Jia entered his office.

"That’s wonderful, I told you Gu Zhen can never abandon me."
