"I do and I will never be able to forgive myself. Knowing that you were in such a terrible situation I didn’t realize it. You are the only one I have Nie Yujie, please don’t leave me. You promised to forgive me if I killed her."

Nie Yujie looked away for a moment and suddenly asked "Her body? What did you do with it?"

"Threw it to sea for sharks to feed on."

Nie Yujie scoffed and said, "She deserved worse than that."

"She is dead. Are we going to let Yang Jia define our lives even after death? Give us a chance, please."

"I will be free tomorrow afternoon." Nie Yujie said and stopped moving immediately after the music ended.

Still holding on to her, Gu Zhen slowly leaned to kiss her lips but was stopped by her fingers as she said, "Each kiss from now will depend on your performance, Mr. Gu."

Gu Zhen smiled and let go of her as he said "Tomorrow then, darling."

Nie Yujie watched him walk away and a slight smile was seen on her face. Gu Zhen was right, there was no need to allow a dead person to define their life. Even she deserves a happy ending and she was going to get it.

Grandpa Fu watched his grandson with a smile and said to Bulter Xia "My boy is finally happy."

"Indeed he is." Bulter Xia replied with a smile.

The wedding dress dropped to the floor and Fu Mingze turned Yang Meiyi to face him, he cupped her cheek and kissed her passionately, devouring her mouth with his and swallowing her moans of pleasure.

The couple completely undressed each other and gave themselves to the passion and love they felt for each other.

One time wasn’t enough for Fu Mingze to satisfy his hunger, he felt he needed to mark her more and that was what he did. Claiming her again and again until they both became exhausted.

"I love you Meiyi." Fu Mingze whispered as he lay next to his wife.

Yang Meiyi smiled softly and said, "I love you Mingze."

"Are the kids ready?" Yang Meiyi asked immediately Fu Mingze entered the room.

"Yes, they are." Fu Mingze said.

Yang Meiyi breathed a sigh of relief and asked "Is he here?"

"He is here." Fu Mingze replied with a smile. He then laughed and said, "It’s just a photo, Meiyi."

"I know, even I don’t know the reason I’m stressed. By the way, what will you do about Fu Dang?"

Fu Mingze shrugged and said "Nothing. He has been handling Fu construction very well, so I might just give him that and do not worry, it won’t affect our children’s future. With the help of Grandpa, I have been able to abolish that stupid tradition, and besides Fu Dang is impotent."

"So you are saying, Fu group will be inherited by Fu Liang?"

"Yes, without a doubt. It won’t leave our line. Fu Liang will inherit Fu’s group without having to pass through torment or being asked to shoot his relatives without killing them." Fu Mingze said coldly.

"Me too. Now, let’s go downstairs before Fu Zhixin starts making a fuss." Fu Mingze said with a smile as remembered his two-year-old son.

Unlike his other kids, Fu Zhixin was born with a weak heart but the doctors assured them that he was going to be fine, and truthfully apart from some fever that gave them sleepless nights when he was one year old, the boy was growing up into a strong one.

Yang Meiyi was about to leave the room when she received a message from Nie Yujie saying "It’s a girl."

She smiled and replied "Congratulations."

To be honest, Yang Meiyi was very glad when Nie Yujie agreed to start again with Gu Zhen, after all, he was the man she loved and now they would be expecting a female child soon, it was truly a great news.

"It’s everything all right?" Fu Mingze asked his wife who was smiling at her phone.

"Everything is fine. Nie Yujie just messaged me that she and Gu Zhen are expecting a girl." Yang Meiyi replied.

"I’m just glad that Nie Yujie is happy, she deserves it after the hell Yang Jia put her through for years. By the way, how is Zhang Chun doing, does he still fight with his son?" Fu Mingze asked with a smirk, proud that he has such a good relationship with his boys and princess.

"They do still banter and to be honest, I find it cute. The boy is just so cute, especially when he was trying to teach Zhixin to call him big brother instead of Fu Liang." Yang Meiyi said with a soft laugh.

"I know. Come, let’s go. I can’t afford to cry before the picture gets taken"

Fu Mingze smiled. He kissed both her hands and led her downstairs.

"Mummy!" Fu Mei shouted as soon as she saw her mother, she ran to hug her mother and asked "Do I look pretty?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and said, "You look very pretty."

"Dad, look. I did a good job of dressing Zhixin up right?" Fu Liang asked proudly.

Fu Mingze looked at Fu Zhixin who was neatly dressed in a mini suit and gave his son a thumbs up.

While both children were seeking their parents’ praise, Fu Zhixin’s only focus was playing with the car toy in front of him and that focus was disrupted when someone carried him up. The little boy was about to cry when he realized that he was in his mother’s arms.

Yang Meiyi kissed her son’s chubby cheek and asked in a childish voice "Are you ready to take a family photo?"

Rather than replying, the little boy only smiled and said "Mama."

"Okay, are we ready?" The photographer asked.

Yang Meiyi nodded and sat on the couch with a two-year-old Zhixin on her lap. Fu Mingze sat beside his wife but not without kissing his adorable son on his forehead, Fu Mei stood beside her father beaming with excitement while Fu Liang stood beside his mother looking cool and confident.

The photographer found himself smiling at how beautiful the family looked and said "Smile."

Yang Meiyi smiled and gasped in surprise when she felt Fu Mingze’s lips on her cheek.

Her happy ending was something she had always looked forward to and whenever she thought she had it, it would always slip out of her hand but not anymore. This time, it was certain. Up to this point, Yang Meiyi had no idea how she entered a novel that she was reading but it was the best thing that has happened to her.
