Yang Meiyi woke up and when she did not see Fu Mingze beside her, she immediately panicked. Has he already left? She looked down at herself and saw that she was wearing Fu Mingze’s shirt, she remembered him putting it on her because he was afraid of her getting cold and she was too exhausted to wear anything else. Memories from last night brought a blush to her face and the thought that Fu Mingze might have left her while she was asleep brought a heavy ache to her heart. Ignoring the soreness between her legs, Yang Meiyi immediately stood up from the bed and was about to open the door, when the door opened revealing an already-dressed Fu Mingze. He was dressed in a black shirt leaving two buttons undone and black trousers.

Seeing him, Yang Meiyi wondered if it was even possible for someone to become even more handsome in just one night and the best part was that, he was hers, he was all hers and no one else. That thought alone brought butterflies to her belly. With a smile on her face, she immediately embraced him tightly and said "I thought you left."

Fu Mingze wrapped his hand around her and replied "I will never leave you like that."

Yang Meiyi raised her head to look at him and said "I know that. I just panicked because I didn’t see you when I woke up."

Fu Mingze smiled stroking her hair gently, he looked at her properly and finally noticed that she was still in his shirt. Seeing her in just his shirt aroused a new desire in him and her body that was currently pressed to his wasn’t helping matters. A taste, he was just going to have a taste of those lips that had become his latest addiction. It would just be a kiss and nothing more, those were the words he kept repeating in his head when he held up her chin and pressed his lips against hers, he kept repeating those same words in his head even when he parted her lips and plunge his tongue into her mouth, but those words immediately flew through the window when he heard her satisfied moan the moment his tongue entered her mouth, the way she responded to his kisses have always driven him crazy but this was different, it was as if she was fighting with his tongue for dominance, oh how his girl has grown. He still remembered the first time they kissed, how shy and inexperienced she was but now, she was kissing him as if she couldn’t get enough and he knew that he would never be able to get enough of her. Just a taste will never be enough when it comes to her.

As their kiss became more aggressive and intense, Yang Meiyi wrapped her legs around him and though she still felt sore from last night, she didn’t care, she just wanted to be him, to have him close again like last night.

Fu Mingze placed her gently on the bed and looked at her eyes filled with lust, he kissed her forehead gently and asked "Do you know why I have never told you that I love you?"

Yang Meiyi felt a sense of dread when she heard his question, she knew Fu Mingze liked her and cared for her, and the only reason he hadn’t told her might be because he hadn’t fallen in love with her yet but why was he bringing it up now? She silently shook her head while praying he wouldn’t say something that would break her heart.

Fu Mingze smiled when he saw the caution and nervousness in Yang Meiyi’s eyes and placed his forehead on hers as he whispered "I wanted you to feel it, to feel how I feel about you so that when I tell you I love you a day will never come when you doubt it because I love you so damn much Meiyi. I love you."

Yang Meiyi let out a bright smile and peck his lips as she replied "I will never doubt it. Never."

Fu Mingze smiled and kissed her as he unbuttoned his shirt that was on her and their two continued from where they stopped last night. One would say, it was even more intense because of Fu Mingze’s confession.

After spending an extra two hours on the bed knowing each other’s bodies, the time for Fu Mingze’s flight got closer, by 1 pm, he would already be gone, meaning they only had two hours left to be with each other.

Sitting in a restaurant, Fu Mingze looked at Yang Meiyi who had been playing with her food for the past ten minutes, and asked "Why aren’t you eating?"

Yang Meiyi let out a helpless smile and said "I’m not that hungry."

"Meiyi, do you want me leaving with the thought that you might end up starving yourself? I will be angry at you when I come back and see that you have lost weight. Is that what you want?" Fu Mingze said with a frown.

Yang Meiyi shook her head and replied "I don’t want that."

"Then eat. I’m still here and we will do a video call every night, a month isn’t that far, it will pass in no time." Fu Mingze said trying to assure her and smiled when she began eating.

"I must look bratty to you, right?" Yang Meiyi asked.

Fu Mingze shook his head and said "You don’t want me to leave because you will miss me, there is nothing bratty about that I like it. Now stop thinking too much and finish your food, we will go to the airport when you are done."

Yang Meiyi nodded and began eating. Infact, the more she ate, the more she realized how hungry she was. Who would have thought doing such activity would lead to a great hunger?

Fu Mingze laughed softly when Yang Meiyi began eating as if she had been starving for days. He was going to miss her, although he had been acting brave about it but to be honest, even him does not know how he was going to survive a whole month without her, without kissing her or touching her but most of all, he felt uncomfortable for some reason. He hated this discomfort, it was the same feeling he had before his mom told him of her disease, perhaps he was just feeling this way because he didn’t want to leave her. He told her to stop thinking too much but here he was overthinking as well, perhaps he should take his advice.

After eating, Yang Meiyi and Fu Mingze drove to the airport and it was finally time for him to leave. He looked at Yang Meiyi and said " I will call you immediately after I land, don’t go out late, and don’t stay alone in Jiachen estate. Go stay with your family and help your mom, learn a thing or two about the business, ok?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and nodded.

Fu Mingze sighed and kissed her forehead, "Don’t get in trouble and if you get in one call me, if you can’t reach me then call Bai Jian, I have already sent his number to you, ensure you save it."

"Are you that worried about me, President Fu?" Yang Meiyi asked with a teasing smile.

"Yes I am." Fu Mingze said without any hesitation.

Yang Meiyi laughed softly and tiptoed to peck his lips as she said "I’m going to be alright. I will try my best not to get in trouble and I will help my mom out. You on the other hand shouldn’t work too much, ensure you eat and sleep properly and if I find out that you are overworking yourself I will be very angry with you."

Fu Mingze smiled and kissed her briefly, he placed his forehead on hers and whispered "I’m going to miss you."

"Whenever you miss me, just call me." Yang Meiyi replied.

Fu Mingze smiled and nodded. He placed his hand on his necklace and touched the blue pendant for a moment before finally removing it.

Xia Lian who was watching them was surprised when Fu Mingze removed his necklace, he had been with Fu Mingze for more than ten years and this was the first time, he had seen his boss remove that necklace from his neck

Yang Meiyi was surprised when Fu Mingze removed his necklace, if there was one thing she knew about him it was that he never removed his necklace.

"Turn around." Fu Mingze said ignoring the look of surprise on her face.

Yang Meiyi turned around as if she was in a daze, she felt him place the necklace on her neck and shuddered when she felt his lips there.

Fu Mingze chuckled at her response and turned her around, he touched the pendant on the necklace and said "Whenever you miss me and you can’t call, place your hand on this pendant and you will feel me with you."

"But you said your mom gave this to you." Yang Meiyi said. "It was the last gift she gave to you."

Fu Mingze smiled and said "I might collect it when I get back but in the meantime, I want you to keep it safe. When I get back, I’m going to meet it in good condition, right?"

"Of course."

Fu Mingze chuckles and hugged her tightly, inhaling her scent. "When I get back, let’s get engaged immediately, ok?"

Yang Meiyi smiled and replied "Ok."
