Transmigration To Magus World-Chapter 155 - 158: Returning to the Valley
Chapter 158: Returning to the Valley
Aizen cleaned up the battlefield, gathering all valuable spoils into a bundle. Among these were the two crimson masks, which he also took.
The masks symbolized the members of the Blood Shadow Fortress and were rarely imitated in Magus World. Properly utilized, they could serve as excellent tools for framing others.
After habitually desecrating the two corpses and obscuring their injuries, Aizen wrapped Christa’s delicate body in tattered robes. Hoisting the frail beauty onto his shoulder, he swiftly darted out of the forest, employing his lightfoot technique to leave the area in a flash.
Soon, passersby might detect the stench of blood lingering in the forest and discover the bodies of the two Blood Shadow Fortress operatives.
But that would no longer be Aizen’s concern.
He moved with incredible speed, leaping like a great bird soaring through the sky, each bound covering over a dozen meters. At times, he dived like a swift goose gliding over water, his steps light and agile.
Even with a person on his shoulder, his speed was astonishing, his stamina seemingly endless. He covered dozens of Miles without breaking a sweat.
At his level of strength, he was on the cusp of transcending the mortal realm into the realm of the True Person.
The immense 35 years’ worth of inner energy circulating within him sustained his movements. Running for tens or even hundreds of Miles posed little challenge.
His extraordinary endurance was further bolstered by his powerful physique.
Since mastering the Five Thunder Explosive Fist, Aizen had diligently practiced the Five Thunder Stance daily, integrating it into every aspect of his life—walking, sitting, standing, and lying down.
Each time of day corresponded to a specific stance:
Morning: Practicing the Wood Thunder Stance.Noon: Practicing the Fire Thunder Stance.Dusk: Practicing the Earth Thunder Stance.Evening: Practicing the Metal Thunder Stance.Midnight: Practicing the Water Thunder Stance.
This sequence aligned with the body’s five organs, which correspond to the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth.
Practicing the Five Thunder Stance was essentially training his internal organs, strengthening his physique.
Although Aizen had only recently entered the Refining Organs Stage, his progress was swift, and his organs had already grown exceptionally robust.
He had begun shedding his mortal frame. Once he fully broke into the innate realm, the innate energy would wash over his entire body, elevating him to the level of a True Person, complete with copper skin, iron bones, and golden organs.
After running for several dozen more Miles, he finally glimpsed a range of small, rolling mountains in the distance.
The saying "A mountain seen is a mountain not yet reached" held true. Though the range was in sight, reaching it would still require running another two or three hundred li.
Aizen, determined to train his stamina and refine his physique, continued sprinting, sweat now beginning to form on his body.
Long-distance running was a true test of willpower and endurance.
Carrying a person during such a run was an extreme burden, a feat of superhuman strength.
Though Aizen’s body was strong enough to kill a bull with a single punch, after running over a hundred Miles, even he began to feel a hint of fatigue.
Eventually, he reached the familiar valley, where the roar of the waterfall was deafening.
By the time Aizen arrived, his entire body was drenched in sweat, his clothes soaked through.
Even a galloping horse would have been drenched after covering several hundred Miles. Despite his immense stamina, Aizen had not yet transcended the mortal realm entirely.
"Ugh..."
Christa groaned as she woke up, likely roused by the discomfort of being carried on Aizen’s shoulder. Her delicate eyebrows furrowed in pain.
Her face was still swollen from the slaps, giving her an almost comical appearance.
No matter how beautiful, any woman would look disfigured after four hard slaps from Aizen.
"Thud!"
Without a trace of pity, Aizen dumped Christa onto the grassy ground of the valley, causing a loud thump.
"Ah!"
Christa awoke fully, glaring at Aizen with wide, angry eyes, like a small, furious kitten.
Ignoring her, Aizen walked toward the now-ruined hut within the valley.
Aizen located the spot where he had previously buried the Cold Moon Blade and his belt. Drawing his narrow blade, he dug into the ground and retrieved both items.
From a distance, Christa watched silently, her mind swirling with countless thoughts.
She considered running away but was more preoccupied with cursing and reviling Aizen in her heart.
Deep down, she knew that with her limited strength, escaping from Aizen’s clutches was impossible. What she needed to figure out now was how to get out of this predicament.
"That guy used that demonic technique to bewitch me into revealing the location of the Tri-Life Mystic Stone. There’s no way he’ll let me go easily. I wonder how much he actually knows. If I don’t cooperate, will he..." Christa’s thoughts churned, a mixture of fear and anger. "Will he violate and kill me first?"
She also thought about her family: *"I don’t even know if my family escaped. My Uncle helped me get out, but he’s disappeared. And the Blood Shadow Fortress... they probably already know about the Tri-Life Mystic Stone.
If that’s the case, keeping it a secret is pointless. If this guy insists on going after the Tri-Life Mystic Stone, he’ll likely end up clashing with the Blood Shadow Fortress. Both of them are horrible. Let them fight and kill each other—that would be ideal."*
"What are you thinking about?" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Aizen’s voice broke through her thoughts.
Startled, Christa realized he had already walked over to her. She quickly stood up, her lips pressed tight, her face filled with wariness and defiance.
"How long ago did the Blood Shadow Fortress attack your family?"
Aizen casually shook off the dirt from his belt as he asked, his tone nonchalant.
Christa hesitated, still wanting to defy him. But when her gaze met Aizen’s cold, piercing eyes, a shiver ran down her spine.
"F-four days."
"Four days." Aizen muttered, deep in thought.
Christa’s home was in Glass City, and she had managed to escape to this place in just four days. That was already quite fast.
The Blood Shadow Fortress likely attacked the Christa family three days ago, which meant they might already have the exact location of the Tri-Life Mystic Stone.
However, even if they had set out for Luma Mountain three days ago, they wouldn’t have arrived yet.
Glass City, one of the Five Coastal Cities, was under the jurisdiction of the Heavenly Demon Clan’s Northern Branch, which had placed representatives there. Similarly, factions like the Hundred Alliances of the Seas and Turtle Stone Domain also had representatives stationed there, just as they did in Great Plain City.
Luma Mountain, on the other hand, was located near the border between the northeast and southwest, within the Lianyun Mountain Range. Even with the fastest horses, it would take ten to fifteen days for the Blood Shadow Fortress to travel from Glass City to Luma Mountain.
"There’s still time, but I’ll need this girl to cooperate," Aizen thought, his gaze narrowing as he studied Christa.
His lips curled into a sly smile.
"I’m setting out for Luma Mountain now. If I bring someone along, it will slow me down. Someone without value has no reason to exist.
Christa, tell me—what value do you have to me?"
The killing intent in Aizen’s eyes was now evident.
Normally, he wouldn’t reveal such blatant malice, but since this was meant to intimidate her, it served its purpose.
If Christa cooperated, he would bring her along to ensure no details were missed.
But if she refused to cooperate, he wouldn’t hesitate to deal with her ruthlessly.
Aizen, with his iron heart and merciless methods, had no shortage of ways to break her will and extract the information he needed.
