Within the Mirror Palace, constructed from brilliant Mirror Surfaces.

Five powerful mist creatures, along with the illusion responsible for conducting the ritual, formed a pentagram, encircling Alka at its center.

"Ready? Let's begin."

Upon hearing Alka's words, the illusion standing outside the pentagram chirped.

The mist creatures forming the array immediately sprang into action.

White lines, composed of dense, drifting, pale white mist, began to trace the outline of the formation. These lines then started to encircle Alka.

Pink Magic Power emanated from Alka, linking with the Magic Power of the surrounding Dream World and simultaneously integrating into the lines formed by the white mist.

Alka raised his right hand. A mask made of mirrors materialized there, and he grasped it firmly.

A design began to take shape on the mask, the image of a deer's head appearing upon its surface.

Raising his hand, he slowly placed the mask upon his face.

The moment Alka donned it, his form changed, and he immediately linked with the five mist creatures forming the array around him.

This further convinced the white mist Pegasus that Alka was indeed Mirmi's heir.

White mist threads, like spider silk, shot out in all directions.

The formation Alka and the creatures composed was the center of this vast web, its mist-like threads spreading out, almost covering the entire Mirror Palace.

Then, starting from a single plane, these threads spread both upwards and downwards, forming interwoven rings of spider silk that connected the entire palace.

Aside from the experienced white mist Pegasus, the other mist creatures had never performed such a ceremony.

They could feel their innate ability—to remotely repair the Real World through the Spiritual World—diminishing, its focus shifting from the Real World to the Dream World.

They did indeed possess such an ability, but the Dream World itself was built upon the lives rooted in the Real World. Thus, the Dream World itself had not suffered any damage from such fractures. Its current desolation was merely a result of the dwindling number of living beings in the Real World.

In their eyes, Alka's power had risen by a stage.

Their abilities continued to descend until, under Alka's guidance during the ritual, they fully adhered to this mirror-formed palace.

The ritual was already a success, but Alka did not sever it. Instead, he guided its power to effect further changes. 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

The Pegasus seemed to understand Alka's intentions and followed his lead.

This significantly alleviated the pressure on Alka.

Once their abilities to construct and repair worlds adhered to the palace, Alka took the lead and initiated the transformation of the entire Mirror Palace.

At this point, the other four mist creatures also roughly understood Alka's intentions and began to lend their power.

Outside, the entire Mirror Palace began to shake and distort.

The circular mirror that had originally appeared in the Dream World, which served as the passage linking the palace to the outside, began to ripple like water.

It then merged entirely with the Dream World, becoming indistinguishable from it.

This mirror was now hidden, and it too began to integrate.

Subsequently, the entire Mirror Palace began to sway as the now-invisible mirror started to deeply bind with the surrounding Dream World, attempting to merge fully into it.

This process was quite arduous. However, with the assistance of several powerful mist creatures and their abilities, coupled with Alka's authority and identity, it became less difficult.

Now, it required a significant amount of Magic Power to solidify this connection. An action of this magnitude demanded a price.

Alka took a deep breath.

He began to pay this price to the entire Dream World.

His Magic Power rapidly drained away, its essence dissipating. Consequently, his strength in the Dream World plummeted.

From its previous peak at Fourth Stage Perfection, his power spiraled downward, losing one Spiral after another, until he managed to halt the descent at a level of five Spirals.

At this stage, the rapid loss of strength caused Alka's spiritual form within the dream extreme discomfort. However, he could distinctly feel that the rift between the Dream World and Reality had eased somewhat, and their connection had grown closer.

This sense of relief allowed Alka to exhale.

Finally, that dreadful sensation—as if his integrated dream-spirit and soul were about to be torn from his body—was gone.

It was so much better without that sensation.

The ritual's link began to fade, and the mist-like spiderweb that had originally covered the entire Mirror Palace started to dissipate into thin air.

The Mirror Palace was now entirely fixed within the Dream World. Alka no longer needed to expend Magic Power or mental effort to stabilize it there, because it had become an integral part of the Dream World itself. Alka had paid his price.

Alka was able to perform this ritual primarily because he could use Mirror Surface to simulate Mirmi's form. This granted him a means to acquire a portion of the mist creatures' powers; otherwise, such a ritual would have been impossible for him.

To the Dream World, such a mirror space was utterly insignificant, less than a single strand of hair.

"Thank you," Alka said, expressing his gratitude to the five most powerful mist creatures who had assisted him.

Upon hearing Alka's thanks, the five mist creatures hurriedly bowed in various poses to show their respect.
