The treasure on the index finger flashed faintly. The Hand of Precision, formed by the entire right hand, began to transform, a cannon barrel appearing within it.

The muzzle aimed at the incoming cannonball.

A sphere of light coalesced and shot out.

It streaked with incredible speed in a straight line, accurately hitting the incoming seed cannonball.

Upon contact, it was clear the beam was composed of pure flame energy.

At the moment of impact, the sphere of light expanded. An explosion followed, and the seed, trailing gray-black smoke, plunged into the sea.

The Sound of Dawn had also been enveloped by a faint magic film.

"The enemy's ranged attacks have a greater reach than ours," Jason observed.

However, it was apparently only the Flower Cannon on the bow.

At this moment, that Flower Cannon seemed to be preparing a second attack.

Yet, even as it did so, the dilapidated ship didn't stop, continuing its course towards them.

Just as the Flower Cannon was about to fire again, the enemy ship finally entered Alka's attack range.

Jason lowered his right hand, which had been controlling the ordinary Vibrating Stone Cannon, and dramatically raised his left.

Under his command, the Destruction of Azula, originally fixed atop the sterncastle, swiftly turned its dark muzzle.

In an instant, it targeted the enemy ship.

This was the most powerful siege weapon on their ship, a blue Treasure they had acquired when they first reached the Endless Sea.

It was a weapon of war constructed by Vastva.

Apart from a previous test firing, it had never been used to attack an enemy.

This was its first time in action.

Activated by Jason's wave, a massive amount of Energy gathered in the muzzle, concentrating rapidly.

A gray-white sphere shot through the air, flying towards the enemy ship.

Everyone's attention was focused on the ejected gray-white sphere of light.

Traveling in a straight line, it accurately struck the enemy's bow, the very area where the Flower Cannon was located.

Upon contact, the gray-white sphere expanded, completely enveloping the breached bow and the area where the Flower Cannon had been.

A blinding flash erupted.

Onboard their ship, Chadite immediately waved her hand, grasping the light that shot towards them.

As the light faded, they clearly saw the enemy ship's condition.

Its bow was completely destroyed; the Flower Cannon had vanished without a trace, not even debris remained.

The bow of the already battered ship now had a large, semicircular depression, as if a massive chunk had been gouged out of it.

At that moment, the enemy ship's speed also decreased.

It even became unstable due to the loss of a large part of its structure, swaying faintly.

The plants on its deck began to intertwine rapidly, the flowers and grasses binding themselves more tightly to the wooden planks.

"Impressive! Truly a ship killer," Simon remarked. He was seeing the Destruction of Atora attack an enemy ship for the first time.

Its destructive power was incredibly satisfying.

Now that the enemy ship was fully within engagement range, Jason raised his right hand and swept it downwards.

The side-mounted Vibrating Stone Cannons, already perfectly aimed, fired instantly. Projectiles launched one after another amidst dull THUDS.

They traced arcs through the air, precisely striking the already battered enemy vessel.

The sounds of creaking wood and shattering impacts reached their ears.

Fragile, worn-down wooden planks and intertwined vines shattered, and gaping holes appeared one after another.

However, such damage evidently wouldn't be enough to critically harm the vessel.

The breaches in its already tattered hull were unlikely to cause enough damage to sink it.

BANG!

However, the cannonballs that struck the enemy ship didn't just stop there. Instead, they exploded, igniting fierce flames that completely engulfed the surrounding area.

Seeing this effect, Simon smiled.

"These are no ordinary cannonballs. They're in for a world of hurt now."

Simon had modified these cannonballs long ago. They resembled bombs in structure and were inscribed with Spells inside. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦

The battered ship was immediately engulfed in a sea of flames.

As the distance closed, they finally got a clear view of the strange creatures on its deck.

They were undead entities resembling decayed skeletons, yet their bodies were covered in greenery.

Various plants clung to them like moss, and vibrant little flowers could even be seen blooming on some of the undead.

It was a bizarre contrast to their ghastly appearance.

The damaged ship extended one enormous vine tendril after another. These dark green tendrils even had structures resembling sinew and muscle.

However, the tendrils could not reach far enough to strike Alka and his companions.

Its purpose was unclear.

Then, the tendrils' next actions startled everyone.

The vines wrapped around the undead on the ship's deck and then, like catapults, forcefully hurled them towards the Sound of Dawn.

"Boarding like this?" someone exclaimed.

Though surprised, the crew immediately began to respond.

Seeing the undead creatures arcing through the air towards them, they knew they couldn't let these abominations defile the Sound of Dawn.

The first to react was the Crystal Dragon, perched atop the mast. With a flap of her wings, she soared into the air, exhaling a stream of crystal-clear breath.

As her breath washed over them, the first few undead flying towards the ship were instantly crystallized in mid-air.

The Crystal Dragon then abruptly maneuvered, her wings beating in a peculiar pattern as she executed a sharp turn in place.

She delivered a powerful tail sweep. An iridescent shimmer surrounded her tail, which dispersed a beautiful radiance as it swept out and crushed the crystallized undead.

They shattered into myriad fragments, which rained down towards the sea.

Chadite transformed the beam of light in her hand into several spheres, which she then flung out.

The spheres struck the airborne undead, intercepting them mid-flight and knocking them out of the sky.

"I've been waiting for this day for so long!" Simon laughed aloud.

A section of the Sound of Dawn's deck suddenly slid open.

A buzzing sound arose as, one after another, Sentry Flying Devices scrambled out.

There were at least thirty or forty of them in sight.

They flew out like a swarm of bees. Individually, the machines were silent, but gathered in dozens, their collective buzzing was clearly audible.

The sound of dense, rapid firing resounded.

This swarm of Sentry Flying Devices formed a solid defensive screen, unleashing dense barrages of fire.
