Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 707 - 318 Shadow Robe_3
"You seem reluctant to establish the Royal Court so soon?"
After all, the benefits of establishing the Royal Court were substantial, with virtually no drawbacks, so the Shadow Robe was momentarily unsure what Alka was hesitating about. After some thought, Alka didn't hide much. His hesitation, after all, stemmed from his primary focus still being grounded in reality. He conveyed his thoughts to the Shadow Robe. Subsequently, a ripple emanated from the Shadow Robe, and Alka could clearly feel his displeasure. However, there was still no fluctuation in the Shadow Robe's voice.
"You... do not want to restore the world?"
"Why would you think that?" Alka asked, looking strangely at the Shadow Robe. However, from this question and the emotional fluctuation, he somewhat understood the Shadow Robe's thoughts and actions. A light-shadow creature dedicated to world restoration?
"Restoring the world is not something that can be achieved casually, nor is it something you, I, or even these creatures present can accomplish," Alka said, without lowering his voice at all. This allowed his voice to carry into his Mirror Palace, letting the misty creatures within his Palace know clearly.
"To restore this already shattered and unrecognizable world, we need many people working together, in both the Dream Realm and reality. Both must strive together." This was almost a certainty; Simon had seen many such references in the documents of the Holy Machine Church, and they had been, almost intentionally or unintentionally, gathering information in this regard.
Throughout the ages, there had never been a lack of people dedicated to restoring the world, or even destroying it. Many strove to rebuild, while many others sought to destroy.
From what they currently understood, the Endless Sea of today was already the result of countless ancestors' repairs. Logically, it was simply impossible for a single person to accomplish such a feat. If it were truly possible, the Four Divines wouldn't have carved out a safe haven for their followers beyond the Endless Sea, nor would the Divines surviving after the Divine War have left this wretched place. No one wants to leave their homeland. Not even the Divines.
From the moment Alka had made his decision, he knew it might be something he couldn't accomplish even by the time of his death. Perhaps becoming a Divine is easier than restoring the world. No. Not perhaps, but certainly. Becoming a Divine is far more hopeful than their goal of restoring the world.
Therefore, in the Real World, having an absolutely safe territory was a dream for any faction in the Endless Sea. No matter what Alka wanted to do, this was an absolutely sufficient bargaining chip. Squandering it aimlessly would be unwise.
Having listened to Alka's explanation, although the Shadow Robe, as a Dream Realm creature, couldn't fully understand, he still nodded, temporarily acknowledging Alka's words.
"Then I hope I will have the opportunity to find a feasible way."
Upon hearing this, Alka nodded. Then, together with Phantom, he led these Dream Realm creatures, who were about to join the Palace, into the Mirror Palace.
The Shadow Robe entered the Mirror Palace, silently observing everything within. After dealing with these matters, Alka entered the shared Dream Realm.
In the area where Chadite was located, countless spheres composed of black objects flew swiftly and randomly throughout the space. Their speed was almost imperceptible to the naked eye, and Chadite had to continuously evade them, blindfolded and without using any Treasures.
His other companions were each busy with their own tasks. Suddenly, Alka felt someone calling him from outside.
Alka vanished from the Dream Realm and awoke in his bed. It wasn't a person calling him, but his regular alarm clock—an apparatus Alka had commissioned Simon to build. It was time for his shift.
He changed his clothes, then jumped and used the cable to ascend to the watchtower. Seeing Alka enter, Juanlu, who was covered in sweat, sat up.
"Were you meditating just now?" Alka asked curiously.
Juanlu nodded. "I got carried away studying some fruits and flowers. They're good ingredients; it's a shame."
Upon hearing this, Alka just smiled and patted him, taking over his shift and urging him to rest well.
As Alka began his night watch, he directly activated the switch for the Magic Gathering Stone on the ceiling. With the operation of the Magic Gathering Stone and its accompanying Crystal Stones, a condensed field of Magic Power began to form, and Alka sat cross-legged on the spot.
Previously, when they were on the island, the lack of a Magic Gathering Stone meant that even though they had meditated for a considerable time, there had been little significant improvement in their power. The Magic Gathering Stone and its accompanying Crystal Stones greatly accelerated their Meditation speed.
Moreover, the existing modifications and adaptations made the Magic Gathering Stone inconvenient to move. During their time on the ship, they had also been pondering how to alter it, to make it detachable so it could be moved with them when they traveled to the Sea of Moisture.
They had estimated that they would spend a considerable amount of time in the Sea of Moisture, and if the situation with the stone remained unchanged, it would mean wasting too many opportunities for power growth. A mobile Magic Gathering Stone and its ancillary devices were therefore essential.
Alka's current power was still at 21 Spirals. He was 6 Spirals short of achieving Perfection in the Third Stage. These 6 Spirals would take him the better part of a year to achieve, and this progress was significantly aided by the influence of his high Dream Realm power.
With this in mind, Alka calmed himself and began to meditate quietly, feeling the Magic Power rapidly penetrate and adapt to his body, then fill into his Spirals. It flowed through the densely packed, superimposed Spirals within him.
