Before they could recover, another attack struck. A multitude of blood-red muscular tendrils shot out from the burly man's body. His body was riddled with openings. Tendrils formed from intertwined blood vessels and muscles swayed like fleshy growths on him. Copious amounts of blood dripped down his skin.

"It's you? You dog bastard who only knows how to drink women's blood, why don't you go find your mother..."

The Fear Energy mass returned to its globular form, and the faces it had previously absorbed reappeared. Though he was now confined within the broken Array, it seemed the recent destruction had caused some unforeseen issue. This allowed him to communicate in his complete Energy form, and he cursed incessantly at the burly man. But it was also clear that something strange was now attached to the burly man. And evidently, they knew each other.

It can only be another Divine.

The place had inexplicably become so lively.

Before he could finish speaking, numerous attacks composed of flesh and blood, like vines, punctured through the Energy mass.

"Truly a mad dog!" the burly man muttered.

"Sabo... you... dog... your mo..." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

Even when pierced by the crimson Energy, the Energy mass continued to curse, but his voice was intermittent and already too unclear to understand.

BOOM!

A massive explosion erupted. The Fear Energy mass detonated, blasting a huge hole in the rear of the greenhouse. The crimson tendrils that had been piercing him were similarly blown apart.

But the burly man was indifferent. He turned to look at Alka and the others, who were struggling to deal with the tendrils attacking them.

"Alright, the annoying stray dog is gone. Let's have a good game," he said, a thick, bloody tongue emerging to lick his lips.

The surroundings remained shrouded in Mirrors and pink mist. Alka's pink mist could only slightly slow the enemy's movements and the speed of some of their attacks. Beyond this, it had no other effect on the enemy. The burly man's mind had long been occupied by some powerful Energy entity; it was far beyond what Alka's current level of attack could affect.

This small, eerie place actually contained three Divines, though it seemed none of them were in their complete, undamaged forms. The realization was still shocking, yet also somewhat numbing.

"Small fry, resist with all your might! Let the slaughter begin!" the burly man laughed, swinging the Giant Axe in his hand.

However, his attacks weren't directed at Alka; he only used those tendrils of flesh and blood to constantly assault Alka and the others. His Giant Axe swung towards the soldiers outside, those who had just finished clearing away the other monsters. Muscles on the Giant Axe's handle extended like long whips.

Wails and screams rang out one after another. These soldiers were generally only Second Stage, with the exception of a few Third Stage captains. They couldn't withstand any direct hit from his attacks; they could hardly even endure the aftershocks.

"What are you doing? You damned monster!" Jilenna yelled, raising her thorn-covered longsword, ready to charge forward.

However, a few crimson vines quickly lashed out from the side, smashing her away.

"Woohoo, the little small fry got angry? Then come and kill me!" The burly man laughed, continuing to use his Giant Axe to attack the soldiers outside, ignoring Alka and his group.

Every one of these monsters is more unhinged than the last.

A dark environment reappeared, enveloping the entire area. In the darkness, Chadite slipped away from Alka and the others. He instantly reappeared on the periphery, quickly moving the soldiers who were still alive to a safer location.

From the darkness, the burly man's voice came through. "You mortals are always like this. This is a world of survival of the fittest, where the strong rule all! Why do you always sacrifice yourselves for these weaklings?"

He spoke as if largely unaffected by the dark environment, swinging his Giant Axe relentlessly towards something in the distance. Numerous attacks flew towards the distance, but this time they seemed somewhat haphazard. Clearly, the darkness was not entirely without effect on him. The body he was using was, after all, merely that of a Third Stage disciple.

"The strong are revered? Clearly, you are not strong. Otherwise, you wouldn't be struggling to survive in this broken world; you would have left it, wouldn't you? Just a loser from the ancient Divine War, now bragging and posturing in front of mortals you once despised."

"I wonder if those Divines who were victorious back then would laugh at your pathetic, cowardly state now? Loser?" Alka's voice emerged from the darkness. His calm voice was filled with mockery.

"Hahahaha, a loser among lions showing off before a swarm of ants? If I were you, I'd die quietly, terrified that others might find out I'm still alive. It's utterly embarrassing. It seems you're afraid of death too. Shouldn't the weak die? So why are you still alive?" Jason's voice followed Alka's, filled with derision.

"Then how can he have the gall to spout nonsense about 'survival of the fittest'?" Matilda asked, puzzled. Her voice was remarkably clear in the darkness.

"Now, now, don't be so harsh. Can't we even let people shout a few slogans? After all, even the weak want to live," Pororo's voice also rang out, tinged with sarcasm.

They chimed in one after another, relentlessly mocking him.

"..."

What followed was the burly man's silence. Simultaneously, his attacks involuntarily ceased. His ragged, furious panting could be heard.

"Oh, someone's angry."

"Say no more, say no more. The cowardly lion is about to crush the ants."

"Yeah, yeah, we're just ants. He's the weak, sickly, cowardly lion of the pride."

"A starved camel is still bigger than a horse, isn't it? Can't we let him try to recover some of the dignity he lost among his peers by posturing in front of us mortals?"

"Haha, good! You're all very good!"

An angry roar erupted from the darkness.
