Chapter 321: 321 Effects of the Epic

[El’s POV: ]

The epic was complete now, and, thanks to the epic, we now have many new privileges.

’And this epic gave us another two Authorities so this was a good start.’

However, the most interesting thing that we earned in this long run was the great sky fortress and this entire floating island.

"So, Miss Black... are you sure this is the right thing to do?"

The island was not just a floating landmass, but a unique structure that could be operated like an aircraft.

The one who took control of the island, as specified by the archmage that had created the artificial dungeon, had to be the successors of the Conqueror.

The one that succeeded him were going to be owners of this island as well as everything present on it.

’Though, we didn’t own anything.’

There were many things that one could get from this island.

From resources to materials and a great ancient creature that was practically a disaster were present on this island and, owning it meant owning a kind of force that no power present in this world currently possessed.

’Additionally, this entire island was a weapon in itself.’

Armed with the greatest kind of ancient technology available in this world, it had weapons that could destroy any small scale country existing in this world on its own.

’It was a kind of power that even the strongest nations of this world would fear.’

And, the fortress wasn’t the only power the owners of this place possessed.

{ "It’s fine, Ace. We are not going to do anything to anyone just yet." }

The floating island was ours now, along with the fortress that was moving towards beyond the centre of the four seas at the moment.

’We were moving the island to a different location, to a place that the other people of this world did not yet know about.’

The knight ghost that used to be a threat that no one in this world could defeat was now helping the rest of construction workers that Raz had summoned like some normal worker.

The remaining undead of this fortress were also helping in the reconstruction of this island.

{ "Establishing a nation is our priority from now on." }

We owned an epic now.

And possessed powers beyond any normal person’s imagination.

’Even the main characters of the epic that We owned did not know about what exactly the benefits of owning this power were.’

They had received rewards based on their own contribution in this epic and what they had received was certainly beyond their own expectations.

It was also an unexpected surprise to them since they did not know much of anything about this Epic thing, but the rewards were to their liking.

’They were stronger thanks to those rewards now.’

But still, we owned this epic, which was completely different from just being a small part of it.

[ "We have a holiday today." ]

[ "Well, you had already expected that much. But looks like the end really scared the teachers." ]

[ "Right? It wouldn’t have been like this if the epic had ended after the Lich." ]

We thought we would have to miss another day, but since the classes got cancelled, we don’t have to worry about anything.

We had enough time to finish everything we have left here.

[ "So, how much did you agree on?" ]

[ "Thirty million. Though in instalments, of course. There isn’t no way I’m giving that bastard that kind of sum just for some construction work." ]

We were going to rebuild this fortress now that it wasn’t an instant dungeon anymore.

’The residual magic of the Magus was still present in this space, so the fortress itself was going to retain a few characteristics it had when it was a dungeon.’

New monsters wouldn’t generate anymore but there were a lot present all around this place already since the path we took practically had the least of them.

And there were also the memory fragments that we can use.

{ "Master... I believe we should reach the specified location in a while." }

{ "Good. Inform the control units we would be taking a long break in that place." }

{ "Yes master." }

There were many benefits of possessing the Ring of power.

’I was practically the proxy of the conqueror himself, one on the same level as the successor that cleared his shrine.’

Lucy was the owner of the key of succession, however, I was the one that practically operated everything that was going on in this place right now.

[ "Lucy, I’m going outside. Take care of everything here." ]

[ "Yes." ]

He was preoccupied with the clearing process.

’We came here to loot the underground chamber that was present right below the central boss room.’

There were a good number of good things that Lucy and Raz were interested in, some things that were of more value in this world than when sold to a dimensional merchant, and things that were invaluable.

’There were also individuals present in human sized tanks here.’

Many of them were important individuals that were in a suspended state and there were individuals in this world that would pay a good sum just to get them back.

’We will hold an auction to resell all the good things that we have stolen until now.’

They will have to win it if they want it back. And since doing so would give us a chance to monopolise a good number of Oz in this world, we were looking forward to that little auction.

-Swish.

Though, as the entire island was floating and moving to a certain location beyond the (Black sea of death), one of the forbidden areas of this world, the scenery I can see from the top of the fortress was quite attractive.

"Master."

"Friday."

"Thank-"

"Do you want punishment?"

"No."

"Then don’t."

"Yes."

He liked his team, and though there was a little awkward atmosphere between them and him, they knew he had saved them once with a unique kind of power.

He was on their side and he was special for a reason. So... even though they only thanked him, they were trusting the bastard now.

’Which was a good sign.’

Thanks to them, I earned a Silver rank epic, something you cannot earned just by doing something very famous.

All epics were evaluated on the scale of their influence in the world and the kind of changes it can cause in the area they were associated with.

’Epics are practically stories that people would speak, remember, and talk about.’

The more entertaining and interesting the story, the more the people would talk about it and, who wouldn’t like the story about some thieves that stole from those high society bastards that most common people of this world already resented?

There was a good chance they would prise the thieves and as they do it, they would spread the epic.

’It got silver rank because the way it was created.’

Some thieves that stared from a single, most powerful nation of a continent, soread out everywhere and made their name, and ultimately, even after going against the odds, they did something no one in the last few centuries had been able to achive.

’They gave me two Authorities, three golden box, one purple one, one unique title and lot more.’

It was fun having my previous unique title getting upgraded to another level, and as a result of all that, I was now almost strong enough to go against that pretty looking undead on my own.

’Our levels had grown a lot as well.’

It wouldn’t be long before we get the second awakening of our unique crown skills.

And, in addition to that, now that we had another bunch of free skill points, I can finally go ahead and create the skills I had wanted to.

"Friday..."

They were good, and they did not betray my faith.

"Yes, master."

He did well in the end, we did well on our side, and ultimately, what we created was enough to attract the attention of the people all around this world and the viewers of the entire Worldline.

"Look at that."

We were standing on the highest point of the fortress, the top of the observation tower from where one could look at the entire island as well as beyond it.

And, aside from the clear morning sky and the sea on the horizon, we could see a green landmass in the distance.

"Wow..."

An untouched piece of land that had been like that since ancient times.

The place where the last few descendants of the Chiragya resided in their last days as nothing more than normal humans.

’It was inhabited right now, but at one point... giants used to roam that land.’

It was a unique land that no one in this world knew about.

There weren’t many creatures present there so it wasn’t like the forest we were seeing before our eyes right now.

It was a big place, it was also filled with greenery and a single pink lake in the centre that covered a tenth of that landmass, and a inactive volcano at the very back of the mountain.

"You can see the Volcano and Lake, right?"

"Yes... I can."

The place where we found the Shrine of Chiragya was a place that housed a being that was even stronger than the great ghost general, a being even stronger than the pure blood dragon that guarded the forest of shrine.

’It was a one of a kind being that was solely the reason for the storm we had witnessed in that sea area.’

I would call it a natural disaster that could destroy this world.

’And just like that creature, though not as lethal as that one, there exists three beings on this land that we would one day have to deal with.’

But that day wasn’t coming anytime soon.

’And we have a disaster of our own on this island.’

They weren’t foolish enough to come at us even if we parked our little island above their house.

They lived inside their own ’houses’ so we also don’t have to worry about a frontal attack.

Though, if we want to completely cultivate this new land into our own new nation, we will have to deal with those beings.

’It is unavoidable.’

But it’s alright.

The Fools can deal with them...
