"Crown Prince Morexis, how is the academy?"

"It is a great place, my lord." In a respectful manner, I answered his question and kept looking down.

He did not like it when his offspring looked right at him, especially when he was sitting on that golden throne of his.

He was a bastard, a cruel bastard.

"A great place you say? Hmmm..."

I did not need to look up at him to tell that he was smirking in that disgusting smirk of his.

I was the crown prince but the two of us did not have any special relationship.

I was the same young child to him like everyone else. A worthless subject that he owned and nothing more.

However...

"Indeed, it is a great place. In fact, it is a far better place than anywhere else in this world."

For him, I was the only child of the woman that he still remembered unlike the countless others that he had been with.

I was talented in many ways and he liked those who not only knew how to be obedient but also had talent... like a good breed dog.

He knew that even if there were individuals in this world that were better than him in some certain ways, he was the one that still stood above most of them.

He was unique, he was the most special, his form was the most noble and supreme of them all.

If I did not possess the outer knowledge of the vast Worldline, the knowledge of the truth, and the knowledge about the old past of the First Era, I would have also considered him an enemy I could never even stand a chance against.

But, he was nothing too special compared to the actual strong individuals of the vast Worldline.

He was not even close to the first conqueror of this world that possessed the power to rival and destroy heavens itself.

But still, he was the strongest there is in this era.

"Interesting..."

He had no interest in his children since they were His subjects already.

We belonged to him and that was not going to be changed even if we wanted to or not.

That’s why he always searched for talented and capable individuals that he could bring onto his side and make them his own.

He was persistent in his search for talent and, even though I did not want to say it, he had a good eye for talent.

"Have you had any interactions with them?"

"Yes, my lord. As a matter of fact, I’ve built up a good friendship with them."

The six divine hands, or the six highest ranking individuals that were as strong as an entire army of some minor nations of this world were absolutely loyal to him.

There were ministers present in this room that had sword their loyalty to him and taken an oath to serve him in every way possible.

He had his own secret armies that weren’t registered anywhere and the enemy nations did not know of their existence, even the individuals in this very empire and the six divine hands did not know every force that was under him.

His forces and his foresight were so vast that even I had a shock when they told me everything that they knew about those things... it was the biggest shock of my life.

"Oh? Friendship you say?"

He must be looking at me with that disgusting expression of his now. And from the way the Divine sword standing beside his throne was reacting, it seemed like he was also a little surprised by this revelation.

I told him how I knew the top ranking individuals of the academy, people that were the youngest to have ever achieved the title of the masters.

Lucifer.

"They are unique individuals, my lord. Individuals who have lived more than their age.

He knew very well just how much knowledgable I was even though he did not know about my unique skill that gave me information about the Worldline and the things beyond that.

He had used me as much as he wanted and that was perhaps the main reason that despite there being more suitable individuals for this position, the title of the crown prince belonged to me and not any other sibling of mine.

He believed that I was double crossing the ones that might have first come to me for some kind of help in taking down the emperor or taking over the empire.

He was a smart one that knew just how strong the ones that had taken down the entire Sky fortress were.

And he knew me well as well, so he knew my intentions were nothing harmful to him.

"Good, let’s go inside and continue this chat."

He stood up from his grand throne and looked over his other offsprings that had no idea what was going on at the moment.

Even the divine sword that understood this situation well could not understand why this was happening the way it was happening.
