Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations-Chapter 1160: Trevor Falls in Love with Her
Looking at her pitiful appearance, Jocelyn Morgan couldn’t bear to blame her anymore. After all, she was her good friend and the victim.
"Alright, alright, no more crying..." Jocelyn used her sleeve to wipe her tears, her voice softening, "There are plenty of fish in the sea; it’s not worth hanging yourself on a rotten tree."
Cecilia Dunn reached out to hug her waist, gently resting her cheek on Jocelyn’s abdomen, "Jocelyn, I’m sorry, it’s my fault... I’m blind."
"It’s okay, encountering a jerk in life isn’t scary! Just realizing it in time is enough!" Jocelyn was willing to accept her, otherwise, she wouldn’t have come today.
After about an hour in the villa with her, after the advice of this online writer friend, Cecilia seemed to be much better.
"Don’t worry, I won’t look for him anymore!"
"Hmm, show me with your actions." She took out her phone to check the time, "It’s getting late, I should go home."
Jocelyn Morgan walked out of the living room door and out of the yard.
Just as she was about to hail a taxi on the roadside, the familiar Maybach came slowly, and she immediately saw Trevor in the driver’s seat.
Stopping, Jocelyn watched the car come to a stable halt beside her.
Trevor poked his head out of the driver’s seat, "Get in!" He had a gentle smile on his face.
Jocelyn Morgan hesitated for a moment, then quickly bypassed the car body and opened the passenger door to sit inside, "Why are you still here?"
Waiting for you!
Oh, no!
"Finished my work, was just about to head back to the city, and ran into you." Trevor saw she had fastened her seatbelt and began to start the car, "Quite a coincidence."
"That’s really a coincidence, even novels wouldn’t dare write this." The girl muttered softly.
Trevor was in a good mood, "Where do you live?" His face carried a rare smile.
"Are you going to take me home?" Jocelyn Morgan turned her gaze, feeling a bit shy suddenly.
But Trevor said, "I’m heading back anyway, maybe it’s on the way?"
He knew that Jocelyn, being someone who didn’t like owing favors, probably didn’t like socializing much, as she was a homebody writer.
So, he didn’t want her to feel burdened.
"It’s not easy to hail a taxi here." Trevor added another sentence.
So, Jocelyn Morgan gave him the address of the house her aunt bought in Riventhal.
"Do you live with your parents?" During the journey, Trevor took the chance to inquire, wanting to know more about her.
Jocelyn answered calmly, "My parents died in a car accident when I was very young, I live with my uncle and aunt, who treat me like their own daughter."
Trevor felt sorry, "I’m sorry."
"Why say sorry?" Jocelyn turned her gaze, smiling, "Their car accident wasn’t because of you." She didn’t want him to feel burdened either.
But Trevor knew his curiosity earlier must have stirred up her sad memories.
A brief silence enveloped the car...
Jocelyn turned to look at the scenery outside the window, after about five minutes.
Suddenly, her eyes brightened, "Wow, such a huge field of sunflowers!" Her pleasant voice carried a hint of excitement.
"Do you like sunflowers?" Trevor intentionally slowed down.
"They’re okay." She responded, "Every flower represents a kind of spirit; as long as you face the sun and strive to grow, life will become simple and beautiful."
Her words were like feathers, softly and gently landing in Trevor’s heart.
He turned to look at the girl’s profile; her skin fair, smile sweet, eyes as if holding stars.
At this moment, Trevor’s eyes were on her, his heart on her, suddenly feeling the tranquil beauty of time.
She’s a child without parents, yet she can still live so positively and optimistically.
Trevor felt his background was quite similar to hers.
Thus, he admired her straightforward, true-to-heart personality even more.
Soon, the car stopped outside a European-style villa nestled in the courtyard; the environment was elegant, worth at least ten million.
"Thank you, Trevor." Jocelyn Morgan got out of the car, waving at him.
Trevor’s lips curved gently as he waved back, watching her run towards the yard like a lively little rabbit, his smile deepening.
Only when her silhouette disappeared from his sight did Trevor drive away.
All the way, he felt the gentle wind brushing through the window, probably the taste of the beginning of love, his heart tingling sweetly.
"Auntie!!"
Jocelyn Morgan had just gone upstairs, was startled by the scene in the living room, quickly tossed aside her bag and rushed over!
