Twins Reunite: Bringing Mom and Dad Together!-Chapter 920: Giselle Keating Dies with Her Eyes Open
Mason Langley waited for a few days, and discovered that everything remained calm before having Giselle Keating brought out.
Giselle Keating narrowly escaped disaster and was leaning against the sofa, her heart still pounding.
With a contemptuous look, Mason Langley sneered, "You did well this time."
Giselle Keating lifted her head, just about to say something when suddenly a person came running in from outside.
"Bad news, our whereabouts have been leaked. Many people are outside, we’ve been surrounded."
Mason Langley’s face turned a shade of fury, glaring at Giselle Keating, he growled, "You fool, was it you? Did you lead them back here?"
Giselle Keating shook her head violently, "It wasn’t me, I didn’t."
How could she have led them back?
Mason Langley’s eyes were filled with murderous intent as he gazed at her. He was always careful; how could he have been caught unless it was Giselle Keating!
He raised his hand and slapped Giselle Keating hard.
Giselle Keating held her face and stumbled aside.
Mason Langley angrily demanded, "Eleanor Sterling and Alaric Faulkner weren’t poisoned, were they? You deliberately lied to me, didn’t you? Just so they could find my location."
Giselle Keating gritted her teeth, glaring at Mason Langley in resentment.
"I acted, and I clearly heard sounds of them being in trouble. I suffered at the Keating Family for days, yet you never came to save me."
"Did you see them get poisoned with your own eyes?"
"No."
Mason Langley cursed viciously, "Fool!"
He must have fallen into Eleanor Sterling’s trap.
He waved at the people behind him, saying, "Tie her up for me."
Soon, someone stepped forward and tied Giselle Keating up.
She was tossed onto the sofa, struggling and squirming continuously.
"Mason Langley, let me go. What do you intend to do?" Giselle Keating’s expression showed a hint of panic as she looked at Mason Langley.
"Hmph, the hatred between you and Eleanor Sterling runs so deep. You’ve targeted her multiple times; she must be eager to kill you, so I’ll leave you to her for vengeance."
After speaking, Mason Langley stood up and left with his men through the back exit.
Seeing Mason Langley escape, Giselle Keating laughed mockingly, her laughter grew sharper and tears streamed down her cheeks.
She was filled with hate!
She thought she could climb up to Mason Langley and avenge Eleanor Sterling, but she never guessed she’d end up betrayed, now falling into Eleanor Sterling’s hands again.
She refused to be stared down by Eleanor Sterling with a victor’s gaze; that would only make her feel worse.
Nor did she want to be locked up again like before, stripped of dignity and without freedom.
Giselle Keating cried and laughed, a look of hopelessness clouding her eyes.
In the end, a wild resolve gleamed in her eyes. She bit down hard, mouthfuls of blood spilling out from her mouth.
She lay on the sofa, her eyes remained open, never closing.
Bang, the door was kicked open violently.
A large group of people rushed in.
They saw no one else, only Giselle Keating lying on the sofa, dead with her eyes open. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Alaric Faulkner walked in, his gaze indifferent as he glanced at Giselle Keating on the sofa.
By now, someone had finished checking and reported, "Giselle Keating is dead. Mason Langley escaped through the tunnel. We are already pursuing him through the tunnel."
Alaric Faulkner nodded, saying, "Seal off the K nation, conduct a thorough search, and make sure to capture Mason Langley."
He wouldn’t let any destabilizing factors that could harm him and Eleanor Sterling remain; they’ve been through enough turmoil.
"Yes, we’ll begin immediately."
Alaric Faulkner’s phone rang; it was Eleanor Sterling calling.
Given her current health, he certainly wouldn’t let her participate in the capture.
"How is it? Did you catch anyone?"
Alaric Faulkner paused, "Mason Langley escaped, Giselle Keating is dead."
Upon hearing of Giselle Keating’s death, Eleanor Sterling couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy, as there had once been a connection between them.
She said, "If possible, bury her properly."
This was Eleanor Sterling’s final act of mercy.
