Ultimate Cash System-Chapter 49: It’s time to show your face.

Annie was holding her breath as Lukas entered his car, although he was looking out of place because of his very minimal and average appearance, but she had to look at him as he entered the most sexy-looking car she had ever seen.

Lukas entered the car first thing he noticed was the smell, it was almost as if it were brand new. Then he held the steering wheel of the car, it was smooth, and the seats were comfortable, but a fat person can’t sit inside this car, that’s for sure.

Lukas nodded in satisfaction while seated in the car, and when Mr. Brown came with the papers, he got a notification, which actually shocked him.

Was the system rewarding me for being nice?

Lukas laughed it off, as he now has $150,000 in cash and $850,000 inside the system, so he wanted to go shopping, but the time was 8 at night, and from tomorrow his classes will be starting once again.

" This here is the permit for the most secure Hulfish Street Garage pass. I have booked the perfect spot for you. I’ve paid for a year then you have to pay to continue." Mr. Brown gave Lukas a card to access his garage.

Lukas took it and then gestured to his BMW. Mr. Brown looked at it and then nodded his head in understanding.

" I will send Max with you, he will drive that car back for you." Mr. Brown took the key and asked Lukas for his room number.

Lukas gave his keys and room number and then drove the car. The car was smooth and very pleasing to drive, the sound that 4.7-liter V12 engine was making was like a beast, and the 550 behind him was no joke.

Both cars have V12 engines, and everywhere they were going, people were turning their heads to look in their direction.

Annie greatly enjoyed her ride, then Lukas drove towards a restaurant nearby to grab dinner.

" You should sell that car and maybe buy something for yourself," Lukas said as he was grabbing his burger. Annie didn’t have much cash on her, so they were grabbing some cheap burgers beside their car, and people were staring at the couple.

" I will. When are you going to the team?" Annie asked, she was afraid Lukas was going to shift to Philadelphia.

" I will study here, and that’s a side gig, they have to call me yet," Lukas said. He took a huge bite from his burger.

" This burger is shit." Lukas almost spat out his burger, it tasted bland and was hard to get a bite in.

" I know, right?" Annie said. She was actually feeling guilty for not carrying cash, and her card was almost out of money.

"Get in the car." Lukas threw that burger and gestured for Annie to enter the car, then drove towards his university.

On the way they entered the Blue Point Grill, a newly established restaurant, and at their table, the steak was even better than Tap Room.

Lukas paid with cash, the total bill was $200 with tips.

After eating, they kissed in the parking lot, and as Lukas has classes tomorrow, he didn’t go to her apartment, and they parted ways.

Annie went home, and Lukas went back to his dorm after parking his car in the Hulfish Street Garage. The garage looked secure enough and was very close to the dormitories.

Lukas still remembers his one incomplete mission.

He was not certain what kind of reward he would get for this particular mission because he was asked to only get a contract that was worth $1000, but he was getting a hundred thousand times more, so the reward would be enormous.

Lukas was looking forward to the reward he will be getting. As he was slowly walking toward his dorm, his phone rang.

*Ring-Ring*

Lukas saw that it was Coach Henry who received the phone, he was expecting good news from him.

" Luke, it’s me, your fat manager." Henry’s joyful voice came over, hearing his voice Lukas could guess Henry was super happy for some reason.

" Yes, Coach, you are my mentor, so don’t belittle yourself," Lukas said as Coach was mocking himself.

" Don’t worry about it. I called you because it’s time to show your face. Your agency, which I’ve set you up and Phillies have come to an agreement, and their agency has sent a fax with your contract, so you better come and sign it." Henry’s voice came, he was sounding too happy.

"So, negotiation went well. What were you guys negotiating anyway?" Lukas asked, he was confused about the whole negotiating part.

" You will soon see. Now, after first classes tomorrow, meet me at the cafeteria, and I will let you know about it," Henry said then he ended the phone call.

Lukas, after ending the call, walked slowly towards his dorm, unknown to him, a smile crept up on his face.

" Oi, Freshman." Ashmika, who was waiting alone for Lukas in front of his dorm, called out to him.

Lukas, seeing her, frowned but went over, as this was late in september the weather was turning cold by night.

" Yes, so you have decided?" Lukas asked, he was pretty certain she did, otherwise she wouldn’t wait for him in this cold.

" Yes, we have decided the thing you mention can be done but is impossible with us two alone," Ashmika said casually while both of them walked inside the dorm building.

" I understand, so how big is the team you are imagining? I need the thing as soon as possible, so you can contact some higher-ups too," Lukas said.

Ashmika pulled out a paper from her back pocket and gave it to Lukas.

" After reading it, if you are still up for it, I’ve left my number in it. Call me." Ashmika said this and left, as she doesn’t stay in the dormitory.
