Chapter 702 Conclusion of the first day

Jason truly became a good tour guide for the two representatives. When the time was up, he brought them to a splendid nearby restaurant that he had prepared in advance. Thankfully, there were a lot of restaurants in this place, letting him know that it was possible to stay here.

"Today activity ends here," Jason smiled. "I'm sure that the two of you are tired because of the long journey, so I make the first day to be very relaxing. We have returned back to the hotel. I hope you can enjoy your first night."

"Thank you very much," George nodded his head. Even though he was not that old, he felt rather tired after the long journey. Having a good night rest was the thing that he needed the most.

Erica also nodded her head. She would like some night rest with a warm bath. That would be very enjoyable.

"Breakfast at 6 AM, I'll ask the receptionist to remind you in the morning," Jason told them as he watched them return back to their room. After he had made sure that they were away from his vision, he picked up his phone. "Lou, guard the two representatives for a while, I need some rest."

"Yes."

Jason headed back to the room that he had prepared for himself. It was a rather nice room that he booked. Upon seeing the two people inside, he smiled wryly.

"It seems the hotel security needs more check."

Kanae shrugged. "It's not really their fault that we're too quick. They can't catch us at this rate."

Jason sighed. "You two are really abnormal. Has anything happened today except for the car battle?"

"We found some spies in the park, but Mike had handled them," Kanae smirked. "There's no need for us to move by ourselves."

"By the way, do you really need to dress up as a young teenager?"

"Is it not suitable?"

"Well, not that it's not suitable…" Jason forced a smile on his face. He just couldn't imagine Kanae as someone like that, so the view that she showed kind of destroyed the image he had.

"He doesn't allow me to act as his girlfriend," Kanae pointed to Kevin.

Jason glanced at Kevin with curiosity. Why would he forbid Kanae to act out something that was extremely easy for them? On second thought, Kevin only showed his warmth in front of Kanae, so it was inappropriate for them to act outside.

"Do you think Ferdinand will make a move?"

"He had made a move," Kevin replied. "Megara moves because of his instruction, so the other driver should know where he was."

"Wait, Megara?" Jason interrupted.

Ah! Kanae forgot that they didn't inform Jason the man that they killed. She told the young man the gist of the event that happened not long ago. When he heard that Megara still aimed to take Kevin's life, he wondered what this young man do until someone hated him so much.

"Has the other driver talked?"

"Not yet, Neo is still doing his work."

"Oh," Jason shrugged. He leaned back on the chair behind him. "They're going to stay here until it's near the end of year. There will be a lot of people coming out around that time, so make sure that you're prepared."

"There's no need to worry," Kanae put up a 'v' gesture with her fingers. "We've already warned them to behave for the rest of the week if they didn't want anything bad to happen."

"You threaten the entire city?"

"Not all, just part of them." Kanae shrugged.

Jason glanced to Kevin's direction as he understood where Kanae was coming from. It must have been the young man's plan to make the citizens know that the problem would come if they didn't behave.

"By the way, you're truly an excellent tour guide, Brother Jason. Your explanation is extremely rich and interesting." Kanae grinned. The voice of this young man was transmitted in the communication device, so she knew about that.

Jason rolled his eyes. "I'm just doing my job. You two should do the same thing."

"Aye, aye."

"Let's have some rest." Kevin stood up. "Tomorrow is going to be a long day."

"Yes."

As the two of them walked out of the room, Jason sighed to himself. The role as the tour guide was not really something that he liked. It was only because he had the capability that he decided to agree with the request. After all, they needed to give good impression for the two representatives.

Time passed swiftly as Jason continued his job as their tour guide. Even George was amazed by the fact that Jason could skip his work for a long time and still held the title as the perfect young master. It seemed as if the companies under Jason's lead didn't care whether he was there or not.

The conjecture was actually correct.

Jason barely stayed in his company because he was busy with other work and dealt with his cousin. Even though the employees knew that there was someone else behind their president, no one ever asked any question. To be able to buy such a large company already proved that the man is capable. Why should they seek trouble by asking question?

"There's only three days left for the two representatives," Kanae commented as she looked at the schedule. "Is there anything that you want to do for them?"

Kevin arched his eyebrows. "What should I do for them?"

"Making them remember your name, perhaps. Brother Jason says that many people are trying their best to make these two remember them," Kanae shrugged. She didn't really understand their intention. Even though these two were representatives, their position was not that high. Matt had informed her that they were kind of the lackeys in the hierarchy that the government has.

"Not interested," Kevin replied flatly.

Kanae nodded her head in understanding. The two of them were resting in their room because there would be a banquet at night for the two representatives. As they didn't go anywhere in the evening, it was break time for them.

"After we have made sure that the country's government won't make a move, what is your next plan, Kevin?"

"I'll continue to develop this city," Kevin replied. "This time, I'll work as the president of companies and not the young master of a clan anymore."

"That'll be interesting," Kanae's eyes shone with interest when Kevin mentioned his plan. She had wanted to know more about the work as the president of a company rather than live in Black Street. The days where she roamed freely on the street would come to a close pretty soon.

Kevin nodded his head. "It's not going to be easy. This city is a bit slow in the development side because of the long lasting culture with the clans and groups. They won't be able to receive changes in this city that quickly."

"That's fine. It's not like we can force things to change that fast. But, I hope that you can stay careful. Even the president of a company might face danger because there are a lot of people who want your life. Besides, there are a lot of people who aim for your life because of your identity as Ryukalin Clan Head. It won't change for the time being with your activity lately."

Kevin's eyes flickered. He looked to the young girl sitting not far from him as he thought about her words. Danger has always been something that accompanied their lives for all he knew. It was not something new, but he didn't want to put Kanae in danger anymore.

She deserved a normal life that she couldn't get before because of her situation. Was there nothing he could do?

"Kevin? Why are you looking at me so intensely?" Kanae waved her hand in front of Kevin's face. "Don't tell me that you're enraptured by my beauty that you couldn't think straight?"

"I'm just thinking about your dress tonight," Kevin lied without batting his eyelids.

"Oh," Kanae's face darkened when she thought about the dress that she had to wear. They had prepared the dress for her when she was busy. It fit her, but she was uncomfortable to wear something so beautiful and restricting.

Unfortunately, the guests for the banquet were all important people. This was the real reason they had to prepare a proper dress for her. Kevin would never allow her to wear the same clothes as the servant anymore.

"Do you not like it?"

"It's fine," Kanae smiled tiredly. "I'll prepare myself. It takes time for women to dress up."

"Ok, I'll be waiting here."

"Don't peek."

"I won't."

Kevin moved his gaze away from Kanae and stared at his own laptop. To be honest, he was thinking about the girl's safety. Even though she has more than enough capabilities to protect herself, there was no one who could guess what the future would be.

'What should I do?'

His mind was rotating in high speed as he pondered about his action. After several minutes of contemplating, he made up his mind and picked up his phone.

"Boss?"

"I need you to prepare something."

"Ok, what is it, Boss?"
