There was not much to go on based on the information provided about the ability but Dilan felt that this ability was extremely interesting.

“A Growth-type ability that can reallocate stats for a duration of one minute…that’s amazing!” Dilan exclaimed, which attracted the interest of the three women, who had been focused on the Bulletin Board of Gates near the training ground.

“Did you find an ability you like?” Victoria asked with a bright smile on her face. It looked like she already knew that Dilan had found a great ability and as if she was the reason for him to have stumbled across a suitable one.

Kathrine frowned yet again upon seeing Victoria’s bright smile but she did nothing except try to calm herself down.

Rather than being bothered about Victoria’s weirdness, Kathrine pinpointed a Gate that attracted her interest.

“Yvonne, what do you think about this Gate? I heard that it’s pretty dangerous but it shouldn’t be much of an issue for us, right?” She asked her sister, who turned her head away from Victoria and Dilan.

Yvonne read through the information that was written on the Gate before she pointed at the level restriction.

“Only those at or above Level 18 can enter it. Dilan is Level 14, so it won’t work,” Yvonne stated before she pointed at another Gate that was marked on the map.

“This one should work though. It may not have as many powerful monsters as the one you showed but Dilan can enter it!” She declared and Kathrine nodded her head in response.

The sisters turned back to Dilan, who flashed a bright smile at them as if he had just won a lottery.

“Is the ability you picked really that good?” Kathrine asked him in confusion. Dilan just nodded his head before he flashed the ability’s information at them.

He had not bought it yet but he could share the notifications he received with others. Thus, the three women could read the information.

“Eh…you are so happy because of that ability? Isn’t it…way too weak?” Victoria asked suddenly. She thought that Dilan had found something of exceptional use but the ability didn’t really seem all that useful to her.

“What the hell are you talking about, Victoria? As long as he can upgrade the ability’s star rating and its Tier, it will be of exceptional use for Dilan. With his high Health stats [Switch] will be even stronger….and it will be easier for him to upgrade his abilities, including the [Regeneration] Origin ability!” Yvonne clarified with a faint smile on her lips.

She hadn’t expected Dilan to find an ability like this so soon but it was certainly helpful.

Yet, when Yvonne saw something on the right corner of the notification screen Dilan had shared with them, her smile disappeared.

“Dilan…I don’t really want to shatter your dream…but do you have 100,000 Dungeon Points to purchase [Switch]?” She asked while trying to be careful about the topic.

Dilan frowned when he heard her question and he wanted to say that everything will be fine. However, when he activated the 30% Discount Coupon he had received in exchange for conquering the Group Mode of the Pagoda of Time, Dilan realized something that caused his expression to change drastically.

“I…am missing 2,000 Dungeon Points…” Dilan muttered before he released a deep sigh as he scratched the back of his head in frustration.

“How about we meet up in three hours or so? I want that ability, so I will have to raid the Pagoda of Time four times…I guess…” He was annoyed that he was missing 2,000 Dungeon Points even after so much hard work and receiving a 25% Discount from the Title [Grand Dungeons Conqueror] and the 30% Dungeon Shop Coupon.

The [Switch] ability was also something that was only posted in the Sale list that would reset in half a day.

“There is no need for you to do that. Just give me your hand for a moment,” Yvonne said all of a sudden when she had already appeared in front of Dilan. He looked at her in confusion but didn’t doubt her intentions.

Instinctively his hand reached out for her and held her hand tightly before a notification appeared in front of his eyes.

Dilan’s sky-blue eyes gleamed after he realized what just happened. He didn’t let go of Yvonne’s hand and stared deep into her dark eyes.

She didn’t react at first but when she felt the intensity with which Dilan was staring at him, her cheeks began to burn. Her face turned beet red and she turned away before shyly muttering,

“There is no need to thank me…but can you let me go, p-please?”

Dilan smiled at her embarrassed expression but he let go of her just as she requested.

“Even if you don’t think that I need to thank you, you saved me lots of time, thanks!” Dilan genuinely expressed his gratitude before he bought the ability [Switch].

When the notification appeared in front of him, a bright light emerged in his palm as an ability crystal was being formed right in front of Dilan and the others. The white light dispersed after a few seconds, revealing a seemingly ordinary ability crystal.

Dilan didn’t waste any time and the ability crystal crumbled while numerous pieces of information flooded Dilan’s brain.

Usually, one would require a minute or two to cope with all the information that flooded one’s mind but Dilan regained his composure after a few seconds. He didn’t feel much different than before, except that he now knew how to use the new ability which he had bound to his Essence crystal.

But there was something else that attracted his interest as well.

“I really like my Occupation…” He mumbled quietly with a satisfied expression as he read through the [Switch] ability once again.

The Divine Occupation [Kirak’s Vassal] increased the star-rating of all bound abilities by two stars. This came in handy in various situations, especially when it came to his [Origin ability] and abilities that were already at a high ranking.

[Switch] didn’t receive tremendous amplifications from the additional star rating but that was only a matter of time.

“How about we leave then?” Dilan asked with a faint smile, knowing that Kathrine and Yvonne had already chosen a good semi-permanent Gate.

However, Kathrine shook her head and a devilish smile appeared on her face.

“Didn’t you plan to get struck by my lightning…like 20 times? How about we do that first?” Kathrine asked, feigning innocence while her expression turned even more devilish than before.

Dilan frowned when he saw her expression and he instinctively shook his head at that.

“If we encounter Tier-1 Lightning attributed monsters, I would rather allow them to attack me…I think…” He could only shrug before taking a look at the Gate, which Yvonne had chosen for them.

“Let’s go to the Thunder Plateau!!” Dilan raised his fist in the air as if they were about to do something grand before he avoided Kathrine’s gaze and stepped away with fast strides.

“He is avoiding me, isn’t he?!” Kathrine grumbled while Yvonne and Victoria could only giggle at that.

“I would avoid you as well! Hehhe~”
