Noah stood within the skies of the divine lightning guild. His eyes scanned the environment as he waited for the arrival of certain individuals.

He gazed at the vibrancy of the city and wondered what would become of the habitation. Surely they would thrive even higher and higher.

The sky trembled a bit and a flash of blue light filled Noah's silver eyes and the presence of thirteen figures arrived before him.

"You're here," his eyes scanned their various figures and his gaze fell on Elder Ezra.

"I will take it from here, master."

"I trust that you will do as we planned," Elder Ezra nodded allowing the twelve experts to float towards him.

"We will begin our journey now," Noah announced floating towards the pit that led outside of the guild.

The experts floated behind him and he didn't hesitate to bypass the inspectors who simply bowed at his presence.

Darkness filled Noah's eyes and he unfolded his consciousness to grab hold of the twelve experts and sprint out of that place.

The event caught those experts by surprise, but they remained unable to resist his influence.

The world around their eyes seemingly stretched and regions covered with layers upon layers of white snow filled their gazes.

The freezing winds swept their figures but they hardly felt anything. Their bodies remained capable of handling those temperatures, at least to a certain degree.

"What the hell was that!" The man named Pete voiced his complaints. His action had been instinctive but he regretted it mere moments after.

"I'll be carrying you across the regions. It's faster that way," Noah explained, unfazed by the man's momentary annoyance.

His answer caught them by surprise, leaving them unable to properly respond.

"From now on we're a team. I would like that you all loosened up. You're doing this voluntarily after all," he addressed another issue even if it didn't bother him.

His words touched those experts. Truthfully speaking, associating with him felt difficult after they had seen his power. His apathetic state didn't help the matter too. He constantly felt distant, damaging whatever association they could have with him.

"Now before we go on, I'll appoint a few individuals as leaders under me. I want to see your powers in action so do not expect me to immediately act when we reach our destination," Noah explained.

"Davis, Cora. I'll appoint you both as the sub-leaders of this group. You'll be the ones to make sure they're all coordinated in their actions lest we kill each other in friendly fire."

"I ask you all to not see this as a form of partiality. You all will take rounds in being sub-leaders. It seems we might be together for a long time, I want to see your capabilities," he nodded making sure he appealed to their personalities.

They were tier 4 beings who by themselves had elevated their power through a deeper understanding of their nature. He respected all tier 4's for that, he had not spent decades pondering his way in life, his path, and who he was. All he had was mostly handed down to him.

"I hope to work well with you all," Cora bowed before them. She was a woman who looked as old as her early forties. She sported deep yellow hair a pair of sparkling black eyes and stood at a height of 5ft4.

Her power stood somewhere past the midpoint of the middle stage. Her demeanor remained calm, and her manner of speech refined. Sure that wasn't too rare, but those were some of the traits Nosh considered during picking.

Davis on the other hand was picked because Noah felt like it. He was also strong and seemed like one that had at least been in a position of leadership.

The male expert on the other hand simply nodded at the others. They had all been together for a few weeks. They essentially knew each other.

Noah acknowledged those experts at that point and he unfolded his consciousness to carry those experts in his waves.

"Hold on tight," he announced whilst silver sparks flowed out of his body, charging the air around him.

Noah transformed into a silver streak soon after. The sound barrier shattered and the wind burst with violent intensity.

The skies of those snowy regions saw his rapidly moving figure zip past them, barely visible.

They were out of those snowy regions in no time and the normal vast amount of trees, plains, and valleys unfolded in the eyes of those experts.

They could barely keep up, however. Noah's acceleration being too great for them to properly gain visuals of their environment.

They settled in soon and enjoyed the ride. He was like a carriage; one moving tens of times faster than the speed of sound. They covered a great distance in mere minutes.

As a tradition to savor his journeys, Noah liked to slow down at certain points, he preferred reaching his destinations a bit longer than usual, after all, he wasn't exactly in a rush.

"We shall make camp here," Noah announced at some point and he descended, alerting the experts.

He descended towards a small hill amongst many hills.

The moment his feet touched its surface it trembled with violent intensity. Those experts watched silver ice barrel out to take over the entire landform. Pillars rose to the sky at that point and with each step Noah took; the structure he constructed became more complete.

In less than a minute those experts found themselves in a frozen building. The event felt strange but also magical. None of them had any idea how the ice affinity worked, but they believed it would require a proper blueprint to build a house.

That wasn't too hard, they were tier 4 experts. But the speed at which he achieved it showed the level of control he had over that affinity.

"We should get something to eat," he declared searching the areas around them for any tier 4 beast. Unfortunately, he didn't find any, so he created a long frozen table with enough chairs for them.

Noah willed it and all sorts of delicacies appeared on the frozen table. They were all the food he had gotten from Riveta. The inventory never let anything go rotten. It even let them remain in their heated state!

Words could not explain the shock of those experts when the aromas of those delicacies filled the wide hall.

Noah took his seat first. "Do you not want to eat? Good food completes the favorable experience of a journey," Noah addressed their stunned figures. In that war, rations were short, meaning luxury eating remained very-very rare. If only they knew the food they saw was already from decades earlier.

All of them rushed to take their seats at that point, the mere sight of that table already made the journey worth it. Noah had a lot where that came from. All courtesy of the feasts Riveta's dummies prepared twice a day only for him for close to a month. He never touched much.

Those experts felt awkward at the table, but Noah shook his head.

"What did I say about loosening up?" He tilted his head to the side and saw that they immediately started eating.

"I'd like you all to tell me about yourself over your food," he spoke, suggesting an idea that allowed for deeper interactions between them and him.

"I'd like you to go first," Noah pointed at a slightly stunned Lora.ƒ𝚛𝐞𝚎𝑤𝘦𝚋𝓷o𝚟e𝘭.c𝐨𝙢
