Unrivaled Miracle Doctor: The God-Defying Demonic Consort-Chapter 395: Fire Element Bloodline (Part 8)
"Mu Qingge, isn’t the scenery here beautiful? If you can’t drink it all, why not drink a few cups with me, isn’t it wonderful? Magnificent?" From a distance, Han Caicai’s lazy and deep voice slowly came over.
As soon as Mu Qingge heard this term, he felt a black line droop down his face.
"No need." With a cold face, Mu Qingge replied curtly, turned around unceremoniously, and ignored Han Caicai.
If it had been anyone else treating him so rudely, they would’ve been annihilated without a trace by now. But, how could it be otherwise when the one acting like this with him is his dear brother Mu?
A perfect person so similar to him deserves to be pampered a bit more.
Han Caicai’s lips curled into a smile, his long phoenix eyes sparkling continuously. Watching Mu Qingge’s upright figure, he lifted his hand and sent the wine from his cup into his mouth.
You He brought some water and walked over to Mu Qingge, handing over the water jug.
Mu Qingge took it, raised her head to take a sip, the slightly cool water slid down her throat, also taking away some of the impatience from her heart.
"Young Lord, what exactly does that Young Master Han want to do?" Unable to see through the matter, You He was equally puzzled.
Mu Qingge kept a straight face, handed the jug back to You He, and said blandly, "Ignore him. Once we get to Huan City and gather the news about the Abnormal Fire, whatever becomes of him is none of our concern."
You He nodded lightly and withdrew.
After lingering at the three-tiered waterfall for half a day, Han Caicai finally lost interest and ordered to depart.
At last, setting out allowed Mu Qingge to exhale a breath of turbid air.
A day’s journey stretched until midday of the next, only then seeing the city walls of Huan City.
Huan City, the Capital of Li Country. Naturally, its scale wasn’t small, and it was even more prosperous than Luodu.
They safely entered the gates of Huan City, and Mu Qingge halted Han Caicai’s carriage.
The carriage came to a stop. If Mu Qingge hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he would never have guessed that this pitch-black carriage was so flamboyant inside.
It was only later that Mu Qingge found out that the carriage could open like a flower due to its clever mechanism.
The curtain wasn’t lifted, only Han Caicai’s lazy voice came out, "Does brother Mu have something to discuss?"
"We’ve arrived at Huan City, our agreement is now fulfilled. According to the agreement, you should now fulfill your promise." Mu Qingge said coldly, his voice low.
"Brother Mu, what’s the rush?" Han Caicai slowly said.
’Of course you’re not in a rush,’ Mu Qingge inwardly mocked but said nothing.
After a while, Han Caicai begrudgingly said, "Very well. Since Brother Mu is in such a rush, shall we find a place to talk up ahead, and I’ll tell Brother Mu what he wants to know?"
Mu Qingge silently stepped aside, indicating his attitude.
Han Caicai seemed to be very familiar with Huan City, easily finding a tranquil teahouse, generously renting it for a day and dismissing other guests.
Soon, the teahouse was tidied up, leaving only Mu Qingge and Han Caicai.
The room they were in looked out onto a picturesque view of mountains and lakes. Sitting by the window, Han Caicai watched Mu Qingge with those narrow phoenix eyes, as if trying to see right through her.
Under that unabashed gaze, Mu Qingge felt somewhat uncomfortable and furrowed her brows slightly.
After a while, seeing that he not only didn’t restrain himself but instead became more presumptuous, Mu Qingge finally said with displeasure, "What are you looking at?"
"I’m looking at Brother Mu’s ultimate purpose for wanting the Abnormal Fire." Han Caicai said frankly.
However, this statement made Mu Qingge’s eyes narrow slightly and her expression hardened.
She remained silent, wanting to see what exactly this man knew.
