Untamed: The Alpha-Chapter 564 THE COLLAPSE OF THE REALM

Emily was so agitated to wait for what Liam and Eros were talking about, she waited at the door of the alpha's office, because she knew that he would be there, since he had an important guest from the organization.

However, the more she waited for him the more her patient ran think, she closed her eyes and felt her head throbbed painfully. This must be because she was in so much tensed. She couldn't think straight.

"What are you doing here?" Liam finally appeared in his study room. He was alone, without his guards and there was amusement in his eyes, as if he had predicted that Emily would be here. "You should return to your bedroom."

"I want to know what you are talking about with Eros?" Emily was determined to not move a single step without knowing what schemes that he had plotted this time.

"If you really want to know, why don't you go back to your room and ask Eros yourself?" Liam smirked, he walked past her and then entered the office, Emily followed behind him.

"I want you to answer me. I will not go anywhere without knowing the answer of it." Emily glared at him. "I will not do your project if you do any harm on him."

"Are you sure that you will not go anywhere?" Liam asked in mocking tone, he seemed to be delighted by the fact that Emily was so determined, despite she had a little to offer. "Even if I said that you will meet Eros in your bedroom right now?"

"What?"

"What? You don't believe me? I told you that I will not harm him, right? You don't believe me…" Liam clicked his tongue, as if he was very disappointed to know about that. "I am so hurt that you think so little about me."

"You released him?" Emily creased her brows, she tried to look for lie, but she was not sure that she could even see it. "Did you really release him?"

"Why don't you go and check it yourself? You will know it." Liam shrugged his shoulder and then sat down on his seat, as he checked on a few documents on the table. "Like you know, he severely injured. You can help him."

Emily was conflicted, but in the end, she decided to go and check it herself. She could always come back to Liam and demand explanation if she didn't find Eros there.

"Ck, ck, ck, she said she will not go anywhere before she heard my answer, but I think she is not that determined." Liam chortled. He then stood up to check on Sol and Jasmine, whether the two of them had done with their reunion.

On the other hand, Emily rushed toward her bedroom, her heart was on her throat, she felt like she didn't run fast enough to reach Eros and this made her agitated.

And once she entered her room, she slammed the door opened.

"Eros!" Emily shouted his name and there he was, sitting on the bed, while trying to bandage his wound again. "You are here…"

Eros lifted his head and then looked at Emily, who was too stunned to speak. "Come here and help me to bandage this wound." Eros waved the bandage in his hand, he was not good with this, since he was supposed to not need such thing, since his healing ability was so great.

However, the silver chain truly had hurt him so badly.

Yet, instead of helping Eros, Emily threw herself toward him and hugged him so tight.

"You are here, he released you. He released you! I am so glad!" Emily cried against his shoulder and she didn't stop for some time.

But this time, Eros was able to hug her and comfort her. He was still fairly angry at her, but he needed to put that aside, though he knew he would never forget what Emily had done and would never be able to overlook that.

"How? How can you go out of that place?" Emily raised her head, her cheeks and the tip of her nose red because she cried so much. "What you were talking about with alpha Liam?"

Emily's eyes widened when an idea came across her mind.

"What you promised him?"

She was sure that Liam wouldn't let him go just like that after what happened, therefore, he must have made Eros to promise something to him, doing something for him.

However, the fact was; it was not Liam that Eros made a deal with, it was the devil.

Zuri let Chaos to lay down and used her laps as pillow, while she watched this realm crumbled. Chaos had his eyes closed and he had been like this for who knew how long, since you couldn't measure time in this place.

She watched the flowers withered and the sky turned so dark, as if it was night without the light of moon or even a single star.

The huge tree that looked so majestic had also withered away, leaving only dry branches, while it leaves had fallen to the ground.

Zuri hugged Chaos closed to her. She still tried to think what the cause of it because there was no way this realm collapsed just like this.

This realm belonged to Chaos and no one would be able to enter, aside from those who had been here before, leaving their traces here.

And for as long as Zuri knew, it was only her, who had been here. No one else.

Moreover, Chaos didn't look any better. His realm was supposed to help him to recuperate faster, but it seemed it caused the opposite.

"Chaos?" Zuri caressed his face. "Let's get out of here. We need to leave this place." She was afraid for the first time now when she looked up and the sky seemed to crumble above her head. "We need to leave. Can you take us somewhere else?"

Zuri was not sure whether her voice could reach him or not, because he had been in and out of consciousness every now and then.

"Chaos… take us somewhere else, can you? This is so scary here." She didn't believe she said it, when she used to think this place was beautiful and gave her so much comfort.

But right now, this place was even more dreadful than a graveyard, as if she could feel something crawling on the ground right now and this was not a pleasant feeling.

Knox was playing with Rhea when she felt something so painful stabbed his heart, he gasped loudly, but it was not only him, who felt that way, Rhea felt the same.

The pain spread so fast and Knox almost unable to bear it, while Rhea was wailing in pain, she was curling her body on the bed, while hugging her doll.

"It is painful… it is hurt…" Rhea wailed.

Her cry made July came into the room with panic on her expression.

"What happened here?" she asked, as she approached Rhea and cradled her in her arms. "What you have done to her?!" she immediately accused Knox, because it was only him, who was in the room.

However, Knox fell to the floor, he clutched his chest tightly, as his eyes turned even darker, with that, July immediately realized that both of them were in so much pain at the same time.

"What is it? What happened?" July cradled Rhea, who was crying in her arms and immediately came to Knox, as she checked on him. "What happened? What is it?"

July had never seen Knox's eyes were so dark. This kind of dark, only been seen in Chaos's eyes when he ran rampant for the first time.

But right now, she saw it in him.

With that realization, July immediately checked Rhea's eyes and she had the same dark color of eyes.

"What is it?" July trembled in fear to see this unknown. She didn't know what the cause of this and whatever it was, it wouldn't be a good thing.

Emily was crying against Eros's arms, while he tried to comfort her, but then, his body stiffened and he growled in low voice, as he shoved her away from him.

"Eros?" Emily fell to the bed, but Eros clutched his chest and fell to the ground, he curled his body, as he let out a whimper, as if he was in so much agony.

Seeing this, Emily immediately came to his side, she was panic, knowing there was something wrong with Eros for him to feel such pain.

"Eros? Eros!" Emily called him, but he was still writhing in pain and it seemed he didn't listen to her. "What is it? Did they give you poison?"

That was the only thing that crossed Emily's mind, since there was nothing else that could cause Eros pain like this. She had not yet heard about what the deal between Liam and Eros when they were in the dungeon, so that must be it.

And then, she saw it. Eros's blue eyes turned darker and darker. That was the most black color that she had ever seen, as if his eyes were made of charcoal.

"Eros!" Emily didn't know what to do, as she held him close to her. She checked his pulse and it was beating so fast. It was not normal.

Gritting her teeth, Emily stood up, she needed to go to Liam. He must know something about this.
