Urban Powerhouse: Chaos Supreme-Chapter 1620 - 1456: Annihilation
"Who are you? You want to stand up for this bunch of lowlifes, aren't you afraid I'll kill you?" Sam slightly narrowed his eyes, looking down coldly at Lin Mo below.
"If you want to kill me, you'll have to see if you have the skills to do it!"
Lin Mo chuckled. "Since you want to step in for them, I'll kill you first." Sam's face broke into a ferocious grin, stretching out his arms. The dark golden Protective Arm covering his massive arms suddenly spread, fully enveloping both arms, and eight beast-like sharp claws emerged, glinting with a cold metallic sheen.
As soon as he finished speaking, Sam's figure shot through the air in an arc, his face twisted in a cruel smile, aiming directly at Lin Mo.
"Purple Shadow Fist!"
Lin Mo's figure vanished from his spot, a mesmerizing purple arc streaking through the air, and the two collided fiercely. Clenching his fist, Lin Mo unleashed a surge of True Yuan, punching viciously at the opponent's metallic claws. In this collision, Sam's cruel smile vanished instantly, replaced by shock as claws, comparable to Star Lake Level Magic Treasures, were shattered by the opponent's bare punch, and then a force surged into his body, sending Sam flying like a cannonball.
The crowd watching was stunned, revealing expressions of disbelief.
Both were of the Star Sea Level Early Stage, yet their combat abilities seemed worlds apart.
Sam clearly realized this as well, understanding he had bitten off more than he could chew. Just then, another purple light streaked across the sky as Lin Mo appeared before Sam, a cold smirk on his lips. Another fierce punch struck Sam's chest, causing a crack to appear on the armor said to withstand Star Sea Level attacks, and then, the dark golden armor shattered entirely as fear filled Sam's eyes,
his body plummeting to the ground like a cannonball, creating a large crater with clouds of dust billowing.
In the sky, Sam's subordinates stood dumbfounded. In their eyes, Sam was incredibly powerful, yet now he was beaten so badly he couldn't even fight back.
At the cave entrance, Silver Queen and others watched, their tense faces turning to expressions of joy. No one expected Lin Mo to be this powerful.
Whoosh!
Lin Mo quickly descended, walking straight over to Sam.
Sam lay at the center of the giant pit, his dark golden metallic armor utterly shattered, a trickle of blood at the corner of his mouth, looking extremely battered, eyes filled with resentment, staring at Lin Mo.
"Do you want to be an enemy of the Golden Scale Clan? Our clan has Star System Level Experts, you'd better apologize quickly..." Sam opened his mouth, trying to act tough.
Lin Mo lifted his right foot, gathering True Yuan, and stomped down hard on Sam's face, breaking the black horns on his forehead with a grisly scream echoing across the Mainland.
"A Star System Level Expert? I'd love to see one!" Lin Mo coldly said, looking down at the bloodied Sam.
Then he stretched out his palm, a strange black flame hovering within, blasting it onto Sam, turning his body and soul to ashes, disappearing into the world.
In the air, Sam's Golden Scale Clan subordinates realized the dire situation and started scattering in all directions.
"Rash Sea Immortal Rope!"
With a wave of his palm, Lin Mo sent emerald green star points through the sky, darting out like arrows, instantly annihilating twenty Golden Scale Clan warriors. Star Lake Level cultivation was utterly insignificant in Lin Mo's hands.
These people had committed countless atrocities, and killing them allowed Lin Mo to eliminate evil, his face unflinching.
Soon, Lin Mo returned to the cave entrance, smiling as he looked at Silver Queen.
Seeing the Demons who had tormented them now dead, Silver Queen and the other Silver Clan girls cried tears of joy, overwhelmed. They knew they had encountered a benevolent hero. Lin Mo glanced at the Golden Scale Clan's corpses, a few fireballs reducing them to ashes, his heart caught in reflection. The vast universe housed countless races, and weaker races, under brutal survival laws, often became tragic victims, discovered and devoured by more powerful races.
"If Yu Lan Star were exposed to this harsh universe, it would likely fare no better than the Silver Clan," Lin Mo mused. At least now, the Mystic Realm Sect protected Yu Lan Star, keeping other cruel aliens at bay.
Races without powerful protection and with weaker strength, like the Silver Clan, were subject to invasion from stronger races.
"Alright, they're all dead, there should be three Flying Devices left nearby, I'll take you there."
Lin Mo put these thoughts aside, knowing he must grow stronger to protect his own home.
Three silver Flying Devices were enough to accommodate hundreds of Silver Clan girls, while Lin Mo and Silver Queen shared one.
Flying Devices were different from spaceships; spaceships were equipped with powerful weapons, creations of technologically advanced planets, incorporating some magic inscriptions too, though they were costly to operate.
Take Lin Mo's Blood Python as an example; even flying was a money-burning affair, and engaging in combat drained soul coins even more terrifyingly. An individual needed substantial wealth to sustain a spaceship.
Currently, Lin Mo needed soul coins desperately even for his cultivation, let alone maintaining a spaceship.
"Sir, shall we return to the Silver Clan now?" Silver Queen operated the Flying Device, her beautiful eyes showing a faint glimmer as she looked at Lin Mo.
"Hasn't your Silver Clan been destroyed?" Lin Mo asked curiously.
Silver Queen explained, "The Golden Scale Clan attacked us, but after we fought desperately, some escaped. They're now hiding near 'Wuniao Star'."
"We're not in a hurry to go to the Silver Clan now. Do you want to rescue more people?" Lin Mo asked with a smile.
"Rescue more people?" Silver Queen paused, her silver eyes widening in disbelief as she looked at Lin Mo. When Lin Mo killed Sam, he had invaded Sam's Divine Sea, obtaining some information. Sam belonged to the middle management of the Silver Clan. Near a place called 'Tan Liu Star,' a gathering spot for the Golden Scale Clan, slaves captured from nearby planets were imprisoned there, then transported for auction on the Star System's largest and most prosperous, Wood Wolf Star. 'Tan Liu Star' was a barren planet, slightly smaller in size than the Moon, considered a large base for the Golden Scale Clan. They captured various weak races in the Star System and transported them to affluent planets for auction.
