Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 725 Xiang Yu Wants to Have Some Fun
Chapter 725: Chapter 725 Xiang Yu Wants to Have Some Fun
"It’s all taken care of; let’s keep moving," Feng Lan gritted her teeth and said.
Since Xiang Yu could anticipate even this, there was no way he didn’t know she was about to arrive.
"Xiang Yu, what will you do?" Feng Lan felt tense, but more than that, she was curious; she didn’t know how Xiang Yu would face her large troop.
Just as everything was settled and they were about to set off, Feng Lan received a phone call from Li Xiaohuan.
Feng Lan didn’t want to answer, but at such a sensitive time, each call could be a major event, so she picked up.
"What’s up?" Feng Lan asked, sounding irritated.
"The Sect Hierarch has issued an order for you to come back immediately," Li Xiaohuan said sternly.
"What?" Feng Lan couldn’t believe it, and asked again, "You’re saying the Sect Hierarch wants me back now? Just me alone, or everyone?"
"Of course, everyone. The Sect Hierarch has important instructions," Li Xiaohuan said and then hung up the call.
Feng Lan stood there holding the phone, stunned, although she didn’t know what was going on. She was certain, though, that it had to be Xiang Yu’s doing. Her nervousness intensified.
It was very likely that Xiang Yu had gone to assassinate Liu Lianyu. Had the assassination succeeded? That must be why Li Xiaohuan was telling her to return. Or had the assassination failed, and Xiang Yu been captured, meaning there was no point in her going to the second city anymore?
These questions swirled in Feng Lan’s mind as she quickly gave the order to return. Her mind was filled with both curiosity and fear; she wanted to understand the truth of the matter as soon as possible.
The brothers from the Fourth District were surprised to hear they were going back. At that moment, they were all full of fighting spirit, determined to teach the Heavenly Dragon Gang a lesson and dismember Xiang Yu.
But Feng Lan’s order was like a bucket of cold water on their heads, and many were confused, wanting to ask Feng Lan. But she was too anxious to bother with explaining.
She got into the car and left first. Although many were reluctant, they had no choice but to follow Feng Lan and head back the way they came.
On Wu Chenghui’s side, the three of them were gathered together. The six snipers they encountered on the way were all their doing – if they could take out Feng Lan halfway, great; if not, at least they’d have created some difficulties for her.
And since the place wasn’t far from the second city, with the current power of the Heavenly Dragon Gang, they were sure to know what had happened and would have made preparations in advance.
In addition to dispatching six assassins, they had also stationed observers further away to report back at any time. The three of them chatted there, listening to the reports from up ahead.
And they were quite satisfied with the situation at the time.
"How about my assassins? Pretty qualified, right?" Wu Chenghui, after hearing they had all taken poison and committed suicide, laughed heartily, showing no sorrow for the loss of his men.
"Boss Wu’s men are really something else; I’m impressed," Zheng Tianming quickly flattered.
Though he said this, both Zheng Tianming and Lin Huitao were shocked on the inside. They hadn’t expected Wu Chenghui to have secretly cultivated his own assassins.
Inside the Evil God organization, all the brothers were commanded by Liu Lianyu. But these assassins Wu Chenghui was nurturing clearly obeyed only him and were not under anyone else’s control.
This meant that if Wu Chenghui wanted them dead, he could just have his own men do it without worrying about the Sect Hierarch finding out.
Even though Zheng Tianming and Lin Huitao still appeared jovial, they had already made plans. They too must have such a force, a team that would obey only them.
As Wu Chenghui and his two companions were fantasizing about how Xiang Yu would finish off Feng Lan, Wu Chenghui’s phone rang. It was a call from his brothers.
"What’s up?" Wu Chenghui asked smugly, still basking in the satisfaction of their previous moment.
"Big brother, something’s gone wrong. Our district’s streets are in chaos," a frantic voice said from the other end.
"What happened?" Wu Chenghui, sensing something off in his brother’s tone, quickly pressed.
As Wu Chenghui was on the phone, Zheng Tianming and Lin Huitao’s phones also rang, with calls from their brothers. When they answered, their expressions darkened.
After hanging up, they exchanged glances.
Wu Chenghui took the lead, "What do you two think?"
Zheng Tianming’s face turned grim. The third city was their base of operations, and they had been scheming to take down Xiang Yu but never expected their opponent to be so bold as to sneak into their territory secretly.
Before they could discuss further, Li Xiaohuan called them, emphasizing that Liu Lianyu wanted to see them.
Feeling like they were facing a formidable enemy, Wu Chenghui quickly got into the car and headed for the headquarters.
At that moment, Tie Zhuzi and Xiang Yu were casually driving around the streets. Wu Jing had already called, and all their brothers had safely evacuated.
"Brother Yu, should we leave this place? If they catch us, it’ll be terrible," Tie Zhuzi said with some concern.
He wasn’t worried about his own safety but feared that Xiang Yu might be captured by the enemy. Now that Xiang Yu had used such underhanded tactics against their rivals, it would be bad if he got caught.
"No worries, we rarely come here; let’s take a few more turns around the place," Xiang Yu said nonchalantly.
Although they were in a car, they were driving slowly because the recent chaos had caused traffic jams in many areas. The already narrow streets were now even more congested. The ground was littered with red flyers, adding to the disarray.
Xiang Yu was staying there to see people’s reactions, but mere street-level observations didn’t offer any real depth.
"Zhuzi, find us an entertainment venue; let’s go have some fun," Xiang Yu suddenly said.
Tie Zhuzi turned his head as if looking at a stranger, surprised that Xiang Yu was actually suggesting to indulge themselves.
"Keep an eye on the car ahead," Xiang Yu quickly warned when he saw Tie Zhuzi’s expression.
Regaining his composure, Tie Zhuzi quickly nodded and replied, "Yes, boss, don’t worry. The place I’ll take you to will definitely satisfy you."
Unaware of what Xiang Yu was thinking and assuming Xiang Yu really wanted to have some fun, Tie Zhuzi continued to honk the horn and squeeze through the traffic.
After all, Xiang Yu had spent some time in this city, and Tie Zhuzi was quite familiar with such entertainment venues. However, given the sensitive period, Tie Zhuzi was also worried about being recognized by members of the Evil God.
But these were not his concerns. Since Xiang Yu was not worried, he had even less reason to worry, fully trusting Xiang Yu’s judgment.
The moment they arrived in front of a luxurious nightclub, Tie Zhuzi suddenly turned to Xiang Yu with a sly smile and asked, "Brother Yu, did you bring any money with you..."
