Chapter 773: Chapter 773: Liu Lianyu’s Final Destiny

Xiang Yu and another person were punching and kicking each other, clearly enjoying the fight. Liu Lianyu fought like a madman, furiously striking out at Xiang Yu.

Despite his frenzy, Liu Lianyu’s techniques remained orderly. It was apparent that while he seemed crazed on the surface, his heart was still calm. This was something Xiang Yu deeply respected about the other man.

Xiang Yu had fought many people, but most would become flustered upon realizing they were outmatched, causing their technique to deteriorate.

But Liu Lianyu was completely different; his mind was serene. Perhaps he had anticipated the outcome from the start.

The two exchanged blows and then separated.

By that time, Xiang Yu’s face had taken two solid punches and was starting to swell in places. Liu Lianyu’s situation was worse, his cheeks so swollen that if his former brothers saw him, they certainly wouldn’t recognize him.

Liu Lianyu’s stamina was waning. He bent over, gasping for air, while Xiang Yu stood there, as calm as ever and still full of vigor.

"I’ve lost," Liu Lianyu said with a wry smile.

Xiang Yu was somewhat taken aback. He hadn’t expected Liu Lianyu to be so straightforward and concede defeat. In fact, Liu Lianyu’s skills were quite formidable; he had merely lost in terms of stamina and reaction speed.

Xiang Yu stood still, waiting for Liu Lianyu to make a decision. He wanted to know how Liu Lianyu planned to disband the Evil God.

Knowing what Xiang Yu was thinking, Liu Lianyu went to the side to pick up his clothes and dressed himself, tidying up.

"Do you have any more questions?" Liu Lianyu asked, suddenly smiling at Xiang Yu. He seemed to have let everything go.

"At the cemetery, were those people there for me?" Xiang Yu asked.

Liu Lianyu nodded and walked to the edge of the mountain top, saying, "Yes, I knew you’d definitely come for me. In fact, all of this was planned by me. I don’t usually visit the cemetery; I just spread the rumor early on, all to lure you in today. I didn’t expect..."

He didn’t continue, as Xiang Yu already knew the rest. Xiang Yu didn’t show up, but Wu Chenghui and the others were fooled into going.

"You’ve never felt what it’s like to be betrayed by brothers, have you? It hurts," Liu Lianyu finished and then turned to look at Xiang Yu, saying, "Wang Yingying wasn’t killed by me. He killed himself out of shame and agitation after seeing me."

At that moment, Liu Lianyu appeared to find relief, sharing a knowing smile with Xiang Yu.

"Goodbye." Liu Lianyu said and then fell backwards off the edge.

"Sect Hierarch!" The four men on the side shouted in unison, running towards the edge.

All they saw was Liu Lianyu falling, limbs spread out, with a smile still on his face.

"Xinyu, I can finally come to find you. There is nothing left for me in this world."

Xiang Yu stood there, feeling a certain sadness. If only he had met Liu Lianyu a few years earlier, perhaps the outcome would have been different.

The four bodyguards stood there, foolishly lost without direction, previously tasked with protecting Liu Lianyu’s safety every day. Now that Liu Lianyu was gone, they didn’t know where their value lay.

"You all can leave now. Go back and tell the people of the Evil God that your Sect Hierarch has left. From today on, the Evil God will cease to exist. If anyone still harbors such thoughts, don’t blame me for killing," Xiang Yu declared before turning and making his way down the mountain.

Just then, a group of people suddenly appeared in the distance. Due to the darkness, their features were indistinguishable, but it was clear there were many of them.

Han Rumei quickly drew her gun, on guard. They were on Liu Lianyu’s territory, and it was highly possible that his reinforcements had arrived.

"Don’t be nervous, we’re all friends here," Tie Zhuzi chuckled.

When he was down there earlier, Xiao Xuan had made a call, and Tie Zhuzi took the opportunity to share his location with him.

"Brother, are you all right?" Sure enough, the one running in front was Xiao Xuan. Seeing that Xiang Yu and the others were fine, he finally smiled and then asked while looking behind Xiang Yu, "What about Liu Lianyu and the others?"

"They’ve gone to heaven," Xiang Yu said with a slight smile.

At that moment, more people ran up from behind; Xiang Yu focused his gaze and saw that it was Feng Lan.

As it turned out, after receiving Xiang Yu’s call, Feng Lan had gathered her own team and escaped from there. She contacted Xiao Xuan first and thus found out that Xiang Yu was here.

Xiang Yu wasn’t surprised to see her; he knew Feng Lan would definitely escape.

Meanwhile, Han Rumei was gaping in surprise when she saw Feng Lan. Han Rumei had previously been in The Dark Department of the Evil God, and at that time, Feng Lan was their boss.

Finding Feng Lan standing here too was quite unexpected for her.

Feng Lan noticed Han Rumei’s expression but didn’t mind and simply said, "I’ve been with the Heavenly Dragon Gang for a long time."

Xiang Yu coughed, feeling there was something awkward about that statement. Thankfully, Feng Lan didn’t say she was Xiang Yu’s person; otherwise, it might have caused misunderstandings.

After her initial shock, Han Rumei felt joy. She had felt somewhat guilty, as she had betrayed the Evil God. But now, she had company, and it was her former leader.

"Let’s go and meet up with Wu Jing," Xiang Yu said and then headed towards the vehicle.

Feng Lan felt a bit uncomfortable seeing that Xiang Yu hadn’t spoken to her, but she quickly regained her composure. After all, Xiang Yu hadn’t spoken to anyone. He was walking in front alone, seeming a bit lonely.

The Evil God was a significant obstacle in Xiang Yu’s heart, one that he needed to eliminate sooner or later. Liu Lianyu’s attitude, however, was something Xiang Yu didn’t anticipate. Perhaps Liu Lianyu had long contemplated this day.

He had been prepared, waiting for someone to deal with the Evil God. The Evil God was his creation; he couldn’t bear to dissolve it himself, hence he made use of Xiang Yu’s hand.

Thinking of these things, Xiang Yu suddenly let out a wry smile. It seemed he had been used by the kid. Remembering the gratitude in Liu Lianyu’s eyes as he was about to jump, Xiang Yu was even more certain of it.

On the way back, Xiao Xuan reported to Xiang Yu about the situation with Wu Jing. It appeared everything was as expected; Wu Jing had completely taken control.

By that time, the clouds in the sky had dispersed, and the moon emerged, illuminating the earth.

When Xiang Yu arrived at Wu Jing’s location, Wu Jing was standing on high ground giving a speech. Several hundred people, all from the Evil God, stood on the open ground, laughing at times and at others bowing their heads in contemplation during Wu Jing’s speech.

Only Li Xiaohuan was tied to a large tree, yelling his head off, but nobody paid him any mind. After shouting for a long while, he ran out of energy, sat down, and stayed motionless.

It was only when Xiang Yu returned did Wu Jing, looking excited, jump down from the high ground and run over. Since Xiang Yu was back, it meant everything had been resolved.

At the same time, everyone turned to look at Xiang Yu, whispering among themselves.

Many of them had never seen Xiang Yu before, and now they were jumping up and down, trying to see what he looked like.

"Big Yu, what do you think we should do with them?" Wu Jing pointed at the people and asked...
