Urban Super Soldier King-Chapter 955: Xiang Yu Has Truly Defected
Chapter 955: Chapter 955: Xiang Yu Has Truly Defected
Gao Zhitao saw Xiang Yu being persuaded with just a few words, and hurriedly said, "Xiang Yu, don’t believe him. They are terrorists, extremely dangerous. If you trust them, your life will be ruined."
In truth, Gao Zhitao didn’t know Xiang Yu’s true identity; he simply felt Xiang Yu was trustworthy and didn’t want him to fall into that dreadful abyss.
Although Gao Zhitao usually acted carelessly, he still had a strong sense of justice in his heart.
"Kid, you better shut up, or I’ll cripple you right now," Huang Haisheng threatened, seeing that Xiang Yu was about to be persuaded and wouldn’t let the kid ruin his plan.
Gao Zhitao’s gaze was resolute. He had a good impression of Xiang Yu and already saw him as a good friend. Now that his friend was facing such temptation, he felt obligated to intervene.
Gao Zhitao ignored Huang Haisheng and instead looked at Xiang Yu with a solemn expression.
Tie Zhuzi kicked Gao Zhitao, saying, "Kid, stop talking nonsense. Stay out of our business."
"I’m doing this for your own good," Gao Zhitao shouted, glaring at him.
"If it’s for our own good, then shut up," Tie Zhuzi retorted.
Xiang Yu didn’t say a word. Instead, he walked over and untied the rope on Tie Zhuzi, then dragged over a chair and motioned for Gao Zhitao to sit down.
"We’ve decided to join you now," Xiang Yu turned and said to Huang Haisheng.
Huang Haisheng clapped his hands and laughed heartily, "Good, good. You’re just the kind of talent we need now."
Huang Haisheng cast a wicked glance at Gao Zhitao, who was seated. "In that case, I’ll give you your first task now—kill this kid for me."
Gao Zhitao’s eyes widened, pointing at Huang Haisheng while yelling, "You bast*rd, that’s too ruthless!"
Without saying a word, Xiang Yu went to Gao Zhitao, grabbed his neck, and twisted it. A sudden "crack" sound echoed, and Gao Zhitao’s eyes shut as he lost consciousness.
Tie Zhuzi stood there trembling from head to toe, hardly believing what he was seeing. Was this real?
Huang Haisheng was equally stunned, never expecting Xiang Yu to act so decisively. From his perspective, Xiang Yu would surely refuse.
After all, they were friends. Xiang Yu refusing would be logical and understandable. But now, Xiang Yu’s decisiveness left him caught off guard.
"Does this work?" Xiang Yu turned to Huang Haisheng and smiled.
That smile sent a shiver down Huang Haisheng’s spine. This guy was a demon.
"Perfect. From now on, I declare you my number one. We’re brothers now. With me around, no one will dare touch you," Huang Haisheng laughed.
Tie Zhuzi stood nervously, unsure what Xiang Yu meant anymore.
"So, am I officially a member of the Falcon Organization now?" Xiang Yu asked Huang Haisheng with excitement.
"Of course. You’re now a member of the Falcon Organization," Huang Haisheng replied happily, walking over to pat Xiang Yu’s shoulder while sneaking a glance at Gao Zhitao.
He wanted to confirm whether Gao Zhitao was truly dead.
Gao Zhitao sat silently in the chair, motionless, his body seemingly devoid of life. Huang Haisheng couldn’t help but secretly admire Xiang Yu.
This guy was cold, ruthless, and bound for great achievements. If trained as an assassin, he’d undoubtedly be outstanding.
"What’s our current mission?" Xiang Yu asked curiously.
"We’re here to track down the killer of Ren Baohe. Now that we’ve found them, our purpose here is to create chaos, throw the entire city into disorder, and then strike," Huang Haisheng explained.
"How are we creating chaos?" Xiang Yu asked with curiosity.
Huang Haisheng smirked coldly, his face tinged with mystery. He glanced at his watch before turning to Xiang Yu, saying, "Wait and see. Ten minutes from now, there’ll be quite a show here."
It was already 11:05. The train had arrived, and all passengers were lining up orderly to board.
The train would stop for twenty minutes before departing for the next station.
The implication of those ten minutes suggested the train was meant to be blown up.
"Since I’m now officially a member, can you share more details of the plan? At least let me get excited in advance," Xiang Yu said expectantly to Huang Haisheng.
Although Xiang Yu appeared calm on the surface, his heart was already racing. There were ten minutes left. If he couldn’t resolve it in time, everyone on the train would be in danger.
Huang Haisheng looked at Xiang Yu, noticing his calm face mingled with a trace of anticipation.
Nodding, Huang Haisheng said, "Sure, no harm telling you since we’re all on the same side now."
To win Xiang Yu over, Huang Haisheng had to show trust. Besides, it was already 11:10, with only five minutes remaining before the explosion. Even if Xiang Yu knew the bomb’s location, he wouldn’t have time to disarm it.
"Our people placed bombs on the train’s head and tail..." Huang Haisheng spoke proudly, detailing each bomb’s location to Xiang Yu.
He even elaborated slightly on the reasoning behind the placements, the anticipated effects, and the extent of damage.
Huang Haisheng’s explanation grew increasingly detailed, and time ticked closer to the inevitable. Xiang Yu grew more anxious inside.
Tie Zhuzi, standing behind, was poor at hiding his emotions. His face was visibly anxious, but without Xiang Yu saying anything, he didn’t know how to act.
Besides, he still wasn’t clear on Xiang Yu’s intentions.
"Since we’ve mobilized so many people this time, why not call everyone over so I can meet them properly?" Xiang Yu said with a smile.
Huang Haisheng thought it over—it made sense. Since they’d be fighting together moving forward, and the bombs were already set, meeting the team seemed reasonable.
Despite losing three key players, Xiang Yu alone was sufficient to replace them.
Nodding, Huang Haisheng took out his phone and made a call. He spoke in English.
Though Xiang Yu didn’t understand much, he caught the gist by picking up two words: "come here."
Despite having little aptitude for learning, Xiang Yu grasped the meaning of those words.
"Wait a few minutes; they’ll be here soon. I need to share... Ah! What are you doing?"
Before finishing his sentence, Xiang Yu suddenly punched Huang Haisheng in the head.
Xiang Yu’s punch was precise—it crushed the man’s nose without taking his life.
"Tie Zhuzi, control him!" Xiang Yu shouted urgently.
Tie Zhuzi reacted quickly, stepping forward to land another punch on Huang Haisheng’s face.
"Damn you! I’ve been holding back for so long, listening to your incessant nonsense. Have you even considered your grandpa’s feelings here?"
