Chapter 1382: Plans To Heal The Continent

-----

Blake smiled lightly as he saw his friends talk with one another.

These new friends, he would certainly not replace them for anything else in the world.

"Hiromi, eat some of this too!"

"Hmm? Oh... I-It’s... sweet, and a bit bitter, and it’s... filled with something...?"

"Yeah, right? It’s called chocolate donut!

And it wasn’t just his friends, but his spirits, his vampire family, they were also enjoying the little moments of life that they couldn’t before.

Saphira and Hiromi, two girls that never met one another in the past, now were able to become friends, and did so quite quickly.

"There you go, young master, I’ve brought you the blend of herbal teas you asked for, alongside another plate of roasted Draconic Beast steaks, deliciously seasoned with a series of combined, aged spices," Everstein said, placing several plates over Blake’s table.

He was working his best to be the perfect butler, just like in his previous life. It seemed that although some of his vampires changed quite a lot, a few others just would never change.

"Thank you, Everstein, but you’ve worked enough. Sit down and have a meal with us," Blake said, as he quickly extended him a chair.

"S-Sit down? By the side of my young master?!" Everstein was shocked. "I-I don’t deserve such a privilege...!"

"There’s no need to act humble," Blake said. "Eat with us. That’s an order."

"E-Eh?!" He gasped. "Y-Yes...!"

Everstein was the type of servant that wouldn’t do such things unless he was ordered. He simply saw himself too lowly compared to Blake to even "dare" sit down by his side and act as an equal.

Unless it was an order!

"Here."

Blake ended up serving him half of the plate Everstein cooked for him, and also the tea, and some sweets as well.

"Try these things."

"Huh? Food? But I am a Vampire..."

"I already said before, didn’t I? Spirits are different than Vampires, you should be able to eat all of this without much of a problem."

"Really?"

Everstein swallowed saliva, as he started drinking the tea.

It was bitter, sweet, and had many unique tastes combined with an exquisite aroma.

"It doesn’t taste plain... Usually we wouldn’t be able to taste things that well, or we would feel it is repulsive," muttered Everstein.

"Now eat the food too," Blake pointed at it.

"..."

As Everstein tasted it, his eyes widened. He continued eating the different flavors, realizing just how great it was to not have those annoying vampiric weaknesses from before.

"T-This is amazing, young master!"

"See? Now just sit back and enjoy the moment too, you shouldn’t overwork yourself. Tomorrow, we’ll be doing a lot of things after all."

"T-Thank you...!"

As the breakfast and lunch came to an end, the entire group went to relax, mostly. Training wasn’t in their minds at all after all the hellish things they went through.

While some of them, like Eric and Alberta delved into their own inventions and worked with Blake into creating new machines to spread spirit energy and make plants grow automatically, others went to meditate and better assess their new selves.

This was something everyone needed to rest before everything started. Although Blake didn’t take a break at all, as his powers were constantly mass-producing large machines imbued with specialized inner workings and cores made of crystalized spirit energy.

Erika and Eric were his main sources of Nature and Life Attribute Spirit Energy, but he also could produce it himself, but not as quickly and as refined as the two of them, so their help was necessary.

The cores crystalized quickly thanks to his Domain of Creation Ability combining with his Nanomachine Production Skill, further making him into a living factory of specialized machines.

These machines resembled large white colored cubes that moved around rapidly, spreading this spiritual energy through the land while purifying miasma at the same time.

They were also quite tough, and could easily survive being attacked by wild monsters due to their powerful innate barriers and also laser beams.

"They’re being produced nicely! But what happens if one gets destroyed eventually, Blake? Or if they run out of fuel?" Eric asked.

"They will return to Mana and disappear," Blake explained. "Those nanomachines are created by my own Magic and Skills after all, once they run out of fuel the entire machine disappears into an spectacle of light, and I can get some of that energy back, though not all of it."

"So we need to keep producing more? How long can they spread this energy?" Asked Alberta.

"It depends, they can detect if the area already has vegetation and just move elsewhere, I’ve equipped them with the ability to fly, but for now I’ll make them move through the land as to not make them be detected by enemy forces," Blake explained. "But perhaps... if they go full power, they should be able to spread energy through the land around them for ten kilometers."

"T-That’s a lot!" Eric said. "And how much is the range around it?" ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

"Probably five hundred meters..." Blake thought about it. "It is as much as we can do with our current resources."

His Aura kept transforming and creating more and more machines, which began moving forward one after another, beginning the process through the wastelands to the east.

"This should hasten the process of reforestation of the entire continent and make things easier for us too!" Erika was happy as she glanced at the machines moving. "Your new Summons are sure amazing, Blake!"

"I suppose they’re quite useful, yeah," Blake nodded with a confident smile. "Alright, let’s continue! We should finish once we’ve produced a thousand in total."

"A thousand?!" Eric looked shocked but wasn’t tired at all.

"Well, it’s not like we’re tired, right?" Erika giggled. "Take all my energy!"

"I suppose so, that training really made me feel like I never run out of energy now," Eric nodded. "Is this how you felt this entire time, Blake?"

"Not always," Blake nodded. "But kind of, sometimes. Once you fight someone very strong though, like an Archdemon, you’ll feel tired for sure."

"A-An archdemon vessel is not something you fight every day though..." Eric sighed.
