Vile Rabbit-Chapter 139: realm of doom 2 fiend
To be honest, he was a little envious of the creatures that walked this path, for they had the privilege of comprehending a concept that he had longed for but couldn't grasp.
DEATH!
But unlike fate and time, where there was a force preventing him from comprehending them, the reason he didn't comprehend death was because he didn't dare to.
Every time he thought about comprehending it, a feeling of absolute death would washed over him; he felt as if he was reaching out to touch someone's private property, and if he ever should touched it without that someone's permission, that someone would sink him into the very death that he lusted after.
This someone was no doubt the death pathfinder.
'That entity had actually taken the essence of the concept of death all for itself. How hateful and powerful' he thought as he annihilated the creatures of the death path before him. He had already dissected its evolution, and it was simple: fuse the spirit and the body, then absorb death energy to evolve the body.
In fact, this path didn't necessarily need true meanings or laws to advance, for it focused mostly on the death energy, which it used instead of ascension particles.
He then focused on the other creatures. These creatures also pulsed with a concept that he had longed for but didn't dare to touch.
LIFE!
He penetrated their memories from the moment they hatched, thier elders granting them the life-nurturing technique that pushed them along the path of life.
Soon he noticed something peculiar: this path was the complete opposite of the death path.
Their names were the opposite; just switch the word "death" with "life" and the word "end" with "beginning," etc. And this path used life energy to evolve.
The walkers of this path would have to go around nurturing life, healing the injured and the sick, and absorbing the life energy that they produced.
Even the way of evolution was the same: spirit fused with body, and life energy was the fuel for evolution. He couldn't help but note that for the first time in his life, he had come across a force that could be considered truly good under
the moral doctrine of karma.
He suddenly frowned, for his instincts told him that this path and the death path had the same source, meaning one entity would own two paths. Countless ideas flashed through his mind.
"That can't be; there was no possible scenario where a single being could create two distinct paths," he muttered to himself in doubt. A second later, his mind clicked. "It must be that the entity's path was originally a fusion between life and death, and it had somehow split its authority in two."
Many ideas flashed through his head and a second later his eyes flashed, and the creatures exploded into nothingness.
After which he stood up, he started shining brightly with wrath. He didn't come to this realm to play an emperor seated on a throne; no, he came here to wreak havoc, to kill, and to collect as many divine cores as he could.
Vash!
The space twisted, and he vanished, reappearing hundreds of thousands of light years away.
The moment he reappeared, his body twisted and morphed into a cosmic ungodly horror, spanning a mind-collapsing height of ten thousand light years. His fur was akin to obsidian maws, the way it devoured the light in its surroundings; his teeth and claws glistened with death, his tail swayed behind him, creating cosmic storms, and his stars eyes
shone with primal savagery.
His aura/essence was unconcealed; it radiated outwards, corrupting, staining, or annihilating every creature and environment within thousands of light years of him.
His sudden appearance was akin to black ink spilling on a beautiful canvas. He raised his head upwards and announced his presence to the world:
"SCREEEEEE!"
His roar echoed out for millions of light years; it carried an announcement and a message that echoed,
"I am here! Come and die!"
This message could only be decoded by beings of law. He had now reached a state where he was unmatched in the material verse, for the simple reason that 8th tier beings couldn't use their full power in the material verse, and the higher entities were too dead or seal to bother him.
He was in a state of existence that had never existed before: half tier 8th
so he had no fear for them.
After he roared, his hind legs contracted. He leaned back slightly, then,
bang!
He shot out and morphed into a streak of darkness, moving hundreds of thousands of light years per second.
Whoosh!
As he traveled, he destroyed everything in his path. countless creatures who were either warring, or hiding, had no resistance whatsoever, they didn't even knew how they died.
The gap between divine beings and non-divine was just that huge; it was an insurmountable gap that didn't just exist in essence, spirit and energy but also in dimension.
A few moments later, after he had traveled for hundreds of millions of light years, he sensed an aura of suffocating death appearing not too far from him. He turned to the aura and gazed at the newly appeared skeleton death fiend.
…
Moments before, two birds suddenly materialized millions of light years away from his fortress. They pulsed as they communicated.
"Who was that creature? It's my first time coming into contact with him. There is no match for his will signature in my memories," one asked.
"I have no clue who he was either. It's odd for a creature that strong to be unknown, whether in the outside world or inside here," the other one replied.
"It's truly odd; no record whatsoever. Let's report him to the life saint," he said as he copied the memory of what just happened and then injected it into a runic pendant he was holding, after which the space around the pendant twisted, then it vanished and reappeared outside the realm of doom, somewhere inside the false ascension realm,
in the darkness, before a shimmering beauty, a pure white cat-like being, who had an ethereal halo of life floating behind her head. Her body was the size of multiple realms.
The pendant awakened her from her slumber. As she opened her three oceanic eyes, shing! Trees and small life forms began to manifest within hundreds of millions of light years around her.
She gazed at the pendant; her eyes penetrated the memory inside of it, she saw a slightly blurry figure who pulsed with an aura she had never sensed before. Ethereal strings manifested in her eyes. A second later, she frowned.
"Fate-less. So you are the one who has caused so much noise as of late," she muttered to herself as countless possibilities flashed through her mind. Then she sighed one last time before closing her eyes.
"With in the grand cycle of life, there exists death, just as within the consummation of death, there exists life… So, who am I to stop you?" After she closed her eyes, the darkness once again returned to its innate stillness, as for the ones who send the report she order them to stay clear of that being.
…
At the same time, the two insect divines also sent a report to a death fiend.
Somewhere within the false realm floated a domain that spanned millions of light years. Inside this domain was a disgusting, stinking ocean formed from blood and fleshy bits.
At the center of this ocean stood twisted mountains formed from bones, and atop this mountain sat the fiend, its body a humanoid skeleton, its bones and eyes glowing crimson, and it was covered with a cloak formed from flowing blood.
It scanned the record, then its eyes started shining with extreme greed and killing intent and,
Boom!
A transparent vision of him manifested before him, then vanished as it entered the material verse.
It then began chanting. Soon after, a singularity bloom before it boom! and it vanished inside.
He was already fantasizing about how much he would advance after killing a pathfinder.
It reappeared somewhere not too far from where the wrathful one was. His gaze landed on the wrathful one, who was also gazing at him. Their eyes locked, and,
Shatter!
The area of a million light years between them instantly collapsed into nothingness.
…
As their sights clashed, the wrathful one felt a trace of the concept of death trying to put an end to his lifespan and sentence his existence to death. He frowned, and his law of wrath burned with arrogance, ripping the death concept apart.
After which, the space twisted, and he vanished, reappearing a few light years before the fiend, and spoke in a majestic tone as his claw, laced with multiple laws, slashed towards its head.
Whoosh!
"How dare you, a mere projection, dream of sinking me into the embrace of death?"
At the same time, the fiend calmly raised its left index finger towards his incoming attack and spoke in an indifferent tone,
"Those who have not taken that step will never understand the difference between them and those who have… but don't worry; I will enlighten you"
"[I SENTENCE YOUR ATTACK TO DIE!]"
His voice was akin to wailing ghosts, and his words were infused with the grand law of death. And!
…!
