Villain in a Fantasy World; I Level Up by Conquering Villainesses-Chapter 36: Fire Lance & Fire Blanket
Dragon Breath!
Rumble!
Thick torrent of red, almost white flames surged out of Julian’s mouth like a fire lance, greedily devouring oxygen from the atmosphere as they blasted against the obsidian walls of the training hall with a resounding boom.
Julian stepped back and finally nodded in satisfaction.
He already spent about 10 minutes training in the training hall, and in this time he confirmed everything that he needed to confirm about his new skills.
Of all his new skills and traits, the Dragon Elemental Breath intrigued him most. He rated it even above Aether Threading, and his experiments confirmed his guess that this was now by far his singular most destructive skill.
Compared to Aether Bolt, Dragon Breath had far more power.
Dragon Breath had two forms, and after practicing with them Julian decided to call them Fire Lance and Fire Blanket.
Fire Lance is the single-target form of Dragon Breath where the flames from his heart are condensed to an extremely hot-white temperature before blasting out of his mouth in the form of a fire lance.
It was extremely destructive and had high penetrative power.
Julian felt that with this skill, he would be able to penetrate the thick Basilisk Scale of the Level 23 Basilisk in a single attack!
In comparison, the Level 31 Centaur Archer couldn’t breach this same defense for minutes even with his most powerful single-target skills.
As for Fire Blanket, it was the AOE version of Dragon Breath where the flames would come from his mouth in a blanket-like cone size, devouring and burning everything within its range.
Its penetrative power was lesser than Fire Lance, but its base destructive power was just as devastating.
With these 2 forms of Dragon Breath, Julian estimated that his offensive power compared to before increased by more than 100%.
As for his Corruption Resistance trait, he could not test it yet unless he was willing to let Pandora and Lilith use their powers on him.
Julian doubted if they would agree, and he never had intentions of asking that of them in the first place. He was fine simply knowing the explanation and knowing that he had such a trait in his repertoire.
As for Partial Invisibility, he would only be able to test its utility when fighting against a real sentient opponent.
And as for Aether Threading, Julian practiced with the skill, getting used to the sensation of manipulating and splitting his qi into ultra-thin strands.
Getting used to Aether Threading was a magical feeling, he felt like he was learning how to control a new organ of his body.
As for its true combat utility though, Julian couldn’t truly test it because again, he needed an actual opponent for that.
The training hall actually had training dummies.
At some point, he noticed that one of the alcoves in the chamber housed a bunch of zombies that acted as training dummies.
Julian guessed that the zombies were from Bruno, but the problem was that the weakest of them was a Level 50 zombie.
How was he supposed to spar against a Level 50 zombie?
In the end, Julian finally trained enough to his satisfaction and was about to bring the session to an end when he suddenly noticed footsteps approaching the training hall.
He straightened and looked at the entrance, wondering who it was.
And then, she emerged- Elena. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶
The beautiful Harpy with silky long silver hair had a serious expression on her face as she walked into the training room dressed in tight black training attire, she wielded a long sword on her right hand and a Spartan-like tower shield on her left.
Even from a distance, Julian could sense the heaviness of that tower shield and yet she lifted it easily like it was nothing.
For a brief moment, Julian felt mesmerized by her beauty as he admired her rugged beauty that had a different flavor to Lilith’s yandere energy and Pandora’s sensual charm and presence.
Unlike Pandora’s bat-like Succubus wings that added to her charm, Elena’s hawk-like wings looked powerful like they were made for war.
They made her look like an Amazon Princess.
Julian quickly recovered from his daze and then he got an idea as his qi flared in an imperceptible manner.
Psychological Invisibility!
Partial Invisibility!
Julian decided to test the efficacy of his stealth.
At the same time that he did this, urged by an instinct, he decided to also use the Snooping Tool on her while she was yet to notice his presence.

Julian’s eyes gleamed as he noticed this.
’It’s just like the book said, Beastkins only have 6 general racial traits. Flight is exclusive to Harpies’.
Of the 12 main races in Gomorra, the books that Julian read in the library recorded that Dragons were the strongest race while Humans and Beastkin were the 2 weakest races among the 12.
Elena’s traits matched his expectations.
Also, Julian keenly noticed that Elena already entered the training hall completely and yet she didn’t notice his presence.
’Great!’ He thought with satisfaction, but then Elena suddenly paused.
She looked around with a puzzled expression on her face, looking past Julian’s current stationery position without noticing him, then she sniffed the air.
Instantly, her face froze. "L-Lord Zaratul?"
