Villain: The Play of Destiny-Chapter 88
Submerged 120 feet under the surface, in the blue world of serenity and beauty, nothing but a ringing silence basked their hearing. But they were not alone as they were surrounded by colorful fish that lived in the reef that they were visiting.
The place was simply magical, and even after spending over an hour in this place, they still felt just as mesmerized by beauty of life.
Keith glanced at the gauge on his wrist which displayed the amount of air left in the tank. Time was almost up, and they needed to regroup now before heading back to the surface.
He glanced in the direction of Ryou, who was still busy exploring a Reef Cave, and then his eyes drifted towards Yingying and Ingrid, who were swimming close by him, curiously looking and playing around with the fish.
At this depth, divers usually started feeling symptoms of drunkenness, but they were Aurors, and the atmospheric pressure here did not affect them much.
His eyes inadvertently turned towards Rebecca, who was swimming around with a giant leatherback turtle. And her Shadow was by her side, anxious about her safety.
He smiled when he found her happily playing around. Yes, she was not an Auror, but her mind was not hazy at all in this place. However, the atmospheric pressure did affect her, and she was visibly tired after playing around for so long.
Keith used his digital watch to send a signal to everyone, and albeit her reluctance, Rebecca bid farewell to the turtle and gathered up with them.
<Shoud I go and search for him?> Yingying used signs and asked after Ryou failed to show up after more than 5 minutes.
<No.> Keith shook his head and then showed her his watch, where Ryou had acknowledged his call a couple of minutes ago. It meant that the boy was fine and was probably on his way back.
They had to wait for a couple of more minutes before Ryou finally showed up, and Keith smiled in his heart when he realized what had kept him for so long.
He was holding onto a very precious piece of Red Coral, and without even taking a closer look, Keith could tell that it was as perfect as they came.
<Let's go!> He signalled and then all of them slowly started swimming towards the surface of the water.
They could have gone faster, but Rebecca needed some time, and they were patient with her.
Fifteen minutes later, they were all back on their yacht, and Rebecca was trembling uncontrollably as she was huddled up in layers of towels over her wetsuit.
"So?" He smirked and asked.
"I loved it!" She excitedly said, wearing a fond smile after such a beautiful experience.
"Me too." He nodded and then laid back on the deck, looking at sky, wearing a light smile on his lips.
They had started their day quite early with a run on the beach, and then as the sky brightened, they surfed the morning waves.
He had never before done it in his life, and it was quite an experience for him. He made fun of himself in front of the blonde girl a few times, but as a quick learner, he soon got the hang of it and held himself well.
Rebecca was pleased to find out another thing she was better at than him after Target Shooting, but her joy was short lived when she realized later in the day that he was a sublime swimmer, far superior to her.
They had a very fulfilling native lunch in the early afternoon, and then they embarked on their rented Yacht to a place where they could enjoy their deep sea diving.
Caesar has gathered information from some well-informed locals, and they found a site that had a coral reef which was not quite famous amongst tourists for how deep it was. And it allowed them all the privacy they needed in this place.
"I envy you." She suddenly said, making him curiously look at her and take in her perfect side profile.
"Why?" He softly asked.
"Because you are so free even when you are the Heir of one of the most Powerful Families in our country." She said as she stared at the sky. "When I was your age, my mother would not even let me go anywhere alone even if I agreed to take a bunch of guards with me." She smiled and said, but her voice did not really seem to hold anything against her mother's protectiveness. "I have been to the sea many times, but it was the first time for me to dive so deep into the blue world. And I think I have enjoyed this day at sea the most in my life."
"You are welcome!" He chuckled and turned his attention back to the sky. "But you sound like an old lady when you say 'When I was your age'. You know, you are only four years older than me?" He reminded her.
"Of course, I know! Exactly four years and 1 day!" She giggled.
Keith laughed at her words and nodded his head. It was a pleasant coincidence that they were both born in February. He was born on the 13th, and she was born on the 12th.
"Also, I envy you because you are not cold!" She begrudgingly turned to look at him, and Keith laughed some more at her words.
"Rejoice that you will remember this day much clearer than I ever would." He reminded her of her gift, and a bright smile bloomed on her face.
"If you forget anything, I would be more than willing to help you recollect it." She suddenly smirked. "And I would be more than happy to narrate your clumsiness on the surfboard when I meet Amelia. I have also recorded your failures on my phone, and I intend to share them with the girls at the university. They would love it!" She tried to pull his leg.
"Sure, go ahead." He chuckled. "I think Yingying has a recording of you ogling at me when I was putting on my wetsuit. I wonder how your suitors would take it when I upload the clip on the University Forum."
"I was not ogling!" She defended herself, but the blush on her cheeks betrayed her words.
"I don't mind it." He shrugged. "I understand that I am the most handsome man you have ever seen in your life."
"Dream on, Pretty Boy! You are not my type!" She scoffed and looked away.
"Really?" He doubtfully asked.
"I like muscular men, and you are lean." She straightforwardly said.
"I am muscular enough. But If that's your way of asking me to put on some unnecessary muscles on my body, sorry, I am not doing it. I am perfect."
"You!"
"Besides, if I wasn't your type, why were you ogling at me?" He smirked and asked.
"I said I was not ogling at you!" She shouted, and then narrowed her eyes at him. "And why was your Shadow recording you getting changed?!"
"She was responsible for Vlogging the day. Maybe the camera remained on at that time." He shrugged and said.
"Yeah, right. I bet she would watch that clip before going to bed every night from now on."
"I don't mind it. Like I said, I understand that I am the most handsome person in existence. It's understandable that the opposite sex is crazy about me."
"You are the most narcissistic person in existence. That's for sure!" She scoffed again and then stood up, stretching her limbs. "I am going to go get changed."
"Oh. Is that an invitation?" He playfully smiled and asked.
Rebecca narrowed her eyes at him, but she now knew better than to argue with him.
"Marianne!" She called out to her Shadow.
"Yes, Master?" Her Shadow responded to her call and walked over to them.
"If anyone tries to peep on me when I am changing, kill him." She ruthlessly said and walked inside the yacht.
"Yes, Master!" The lovely girl with a bob-cut obediently nodded her head and followed her Master.
Keith chuckled to himself and the stood up to get changed too, but he did not go inside a cabin to do it.
He changed right in front of the eyes of Yingying and Ingrid, giving them a good show of his body.
Thankfully, he was wearing a knee-length dry swimwear underneath the wetsuit, which he did not take off, otherwise, Yingying would have had sleepless nights for the weeks to come, even though she had already seen him naked several times in their life.
Ingrid was young, but she was not a child. The way her beautiful Amber eyes ran across his torso, it was very obvious that she was sexually attracted towards him. And when he caught her ogling at him, he smirked at her, which made her fair cheeks burn in a furious blush.
"Is that for Minami?" Keith asked when he found Ryouta sitting a little away, working on the Red Coral.
"Yes." The Japanese boy smiled and nodded his head.
"You can ask Uncle Caesar, and he can recommend some good jewellers in the city to you."
"I intend to do it." The dark-eyed boy nodded his head and continued working on cleaning the Red Coral.
An hour and half later, the Yacht arrived at the shores of the Island Resort they were staying at for the night, and the atmosphere was quite solemn.
Caesar had already informed them that a few guests were waiting for them, but the resort seemed desolate. All the workers seemed to have been turned away, and only the men in black suits and robes waited for them.
"Keith.."
Rebecca worriedly called out to him when she caught sight of Erra standing together with Wednesday and a few more people, who oozed of a great presence.
"Don't worry." He assured her with a smile and then turned his attention back to people around Erra.
Even though he had never met them before, he still recognised a couple of them. Especially the sun-kissed blonde haired man, who was strikingly handsome even in his forties. And then there was the enchanting woman in the group, with lustrous silver hair and green eyes, wearing a gorgeous silver dress that accentuated her curves and enhanced her already very high-charm.
Rebecca too caught her presence when they docked and walked towards the group of people waiting for them. And she frowned as she found someone who could rival her in beauty and even surpassed her with her sensual body.
"Who's that?" She asked.
"Aphrodite." He said and narrowed his eyes at the lady who was meaningfully smiling in his direction.
"Looks like she's more than willing to spend a night with you." The blonde-haired girl remarked, not surpised in the least that there was another person who was called after a Goddess' name.
"Unfortunately for her, my wife has forbidden me from sleeping with casual women." Keith smirked and said, and his words prompted a giggle from Rebecca.
"She really did it?"
"Yes." He nodded to her, which made her giggle some more.
