Villain transmigration: The doll maker.-Chapter 59:Stubborn
I walked to the holding cell at the end of the laboratory. It had been my first ever cell built before the underground was expanded. A beautiful memory. Mother had not been happy about my decision at that time, but she still built it according to my design.
"Gotten comfortable haven’t we?"
I said the moment the person inside the cell came into view. The elf was lying on the bed, her legs propped up against the wall while eating a pear.
She turned her head to me, the half-eaten pear hanging from her mouth. She spit it out and it rolled until it came to a stop at the cell doors.
"You put a bloody slave collar on me, what do you expect I should do?"
She answered crudely and clicked. She lowered her legs to the bed and sat up looking at me with a careless smile.
"Be obedient of course. To add on that, you never told me your name."
The cell door slid open after undoing the lock spell, and I stepped inside. Her grey eyes followed my movement, her body tense, ready to fight.
"You can call me Kianah Lusheah."
She answered nonchalantly and flopped back on the bed after confirming I wasn’t going to attack her.
"I’m sure there is no need for further introductions on my part. Would you perhaps give me those needles you are hiding we wouldn’t want you poisoning yourself. "
She sat up the chain on her leg, hitting against the bedpost. It was long enough for her to walk around the cell and have a third to spare.
"I wasn’t going to attack you."
She said and placed ten black-tipped needles on my hand. I brought them near my nose and smelled them out of curiosity.
"What are the other poisons I’ve never seen, smelt, or heard of anywhere?"
I asked curiously. Just like the elves, dark elves were proficient in gardening; they just planted a bit of questionable plants.
"Nothing much just some useless plants. Why did you split my head open?"
"To put an obedience spell inside."
She paused then nodded.
"The slave collar?"
Her voice dropped.
"It looks good on you."
She looked at me as though I had grown a second head.
"If you want to compliment me, you could have just said it, no need to go around collaring me up, you’ve already chained me," she paused and covered her chest pulling to herself, " or did you fall in love with my beautiful self?"
"What if I did?"
I played along with her. She raised her leg the chains hitting against each other.
"Then you’ll let me go right?"
She angled herself so that her breasts were more visible and they looked very beautiful. I chuckled at that. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Unfortunately no. I’m just too in love with you."
She rolled her eyes and covered her breasts.
"What do you want?"
She asked me seriously.
"You’ll be responsible for planting zelph flowers. I also like the poisons on your needles. You’ll plant those two. I’ve already prepared a garden for you."
I said directly. Her face went from amused to serious after that.
"No."
"You don’t really have a choice. "
"I’d rather die than help you, Zelph Flowers requires too much work, and after you destroyed my hard work."
I grabbed her face, my fingers digging into her skin, forcing her to look at me, her eyes filled with stubbornness.
"When I say you don’t really have a choice, I mean it."
Her hands wrapped around my hand as she tried to pull my hands from her face, tears had started to drip down her face and onto my hands. If I squeezed just a bit more, I could break her jaw.
"No!"
She managed to squeeze that out. Despite her tears, her eyes were filled with stubbornness. I like that, breaking her was going to be enjoyable.
Getting a dark elf was hard enough, and I wasn’t going to let one this talented in gardening go. Only dark elves could plant zelph flowers this made her valuable even to me.
"Since you don’t want i have no choice but to force you, you’ll get used to it eventually. "
I activated the obedience spell. Despite placing it on the others i rarely used it since they obeyed me anyway, it was just a guarantee.
I let go of her body and she knelt before me. Her eyes were frantic as she tried to make sense of what was happening.
"Now let’s begin, what did you need for planting?"
"My blood, elven blood, dried dream lotus you mix it in the soil before planting."
More tears started to drip.
"Any spell."
"Just a normal growth spell."
"Conditions to be met."
"No sun."
"Anything else you’d like to add?"
"The seeds are at my home ."
"Where is it?"
"At the outskirts of the capital, near the bandit forest, there is a cave next to a big oak tree."
I smiled and nodded. I expect her home to be in Greenwood Forest since that was where the zelph flowers were planted.
"You’ve been such a good girl, why don’t you tell me where the other elves are?"
"I don’t know, young master, I was raised by another dark elf, but she disappeared. I don’t know my origins."
I nodded. I had gotten what I was looking for. The recipe was easier than I thought, but the need for dark elf blood would have been a big problem if I had not met her.
"You know what, I feel like killing you, but that would be a waste, so I thought of a better method, a win-win for both of us."
I released her from the spell. She fell to the ground, tears dripping, while her body trembled. The obedience spell strains the brain a lot but it wasn’t that harmful even when active.
"You monster, what did you do to me?"
She spat out angrily. I expected that much.
"Nothing much, don’t you wonder why you have a slave collar?"
Her hand instinctively came to her neck and touched the collar the colour draining from her face as the situation sank in. Elves were prideful creatures, and this was definitely the biggest blow to her, but it wasn’t enough for me.
Despite having the obedience spell, it made her loyal, but it doesn’t erase her hate; that wasn’t acceptable. She was supposed to worship me.
"Just kill me, I betrayed my master."
She mumbled to herself. She tried to choke herself, but the obedience spell wouldn’t allow it. It automatically activates when they think of suicide, betrayal, or killing me.
"Since you want death so much, how about I grant it to you?"
She sighed in relief and offered her throat.
"Luna."
"Yes, master."
Luna answered. She had been standing outside the cell watching our interactions.
"Prepare the operating room, my dear guest seems to hate being aware."
She looked at me in confusion at my instructions to Luna. She was expecting me to choke her or slash her neck.
Why would I do that when I needed her blood to keep the farm going?
"What are you planning? Aren’t you supposed to kill me?"
I chuckled and held her bruised cheek enjoying the feel of her soft skin.
"Of course I’m going to do that, you don’t have to worry, I find the normal way of death," I paused, looking for the correct word," crude. I prefer it to be neat and painless. "
I was about to knock her unconscious when something absurd flashed through my mind.
"If you don’t mind me asking, is Miss Anne an elf, or did you just come up with that concept. "
I asked curiously. This had been gnawing at my mind since we met. It was weird how she was able to emulate almost everything, but decided to make jagged elf ears, which was oddly specific.
"Of course she is, elves can recognise each other, it was hard enough to get into that library, but she got distracted, and I slipped in. Getting through human detectors was easy. She’s an orphaned princess the perfect target for most elves. "
She answered honestly. So it was true, then I would have to visit our dear librarian.
"Master, everything is ready ."
Luna’s quiet voice said. I knocked her unconscious, and Luna picked her up.
"Are you sure about this master?"
Luna asked me as she placed her on the operating table. I nodded.
"She doesn’t know anything about dark elves and I don’t have the time and patience to activate it every single time."
"But you’re destroying her memories won’t you lose more?"
She insisted. I knew she was worried since I had been looking for the dark elves for a long time, and here I am destroying her memory.
"It’s okay, Luna, you know I don’t do useless things. Not everyone will be as obedient and perfect as you are, it’s better to destroy the slightest resentment. "
"I apologise master."
She bowed her face filled with worry, she rarely doubted or questioned me. I didn’t take offence at it.
"You don’t have to, everyone makes mistakes, and I might just need that input one day. "
"Thank you master."
She finished her preparation in silence. This had clearly lowered her mood. It was good.
