Villain's Survival: SSS Class Infinite Copy Eyes-Chapter 25. Dragon (4)
Chapter 25: 25. Dragon (4)
This creature had dreamed him into this hellscape and still had the audacity to try and dominate him?!
Here in the void, Licht didn’t have time to deal with such bullshit
Licht stared back as His voice cut through the Void like lightning.
"What the fuck are you glaring at?"
Your Trait 「A Valtier’s Pride (S)」has activated
A wave of royal pressure exploded outward from Licht’s body.
It was a presence forged through his bloodlines proud history
The Void itself trembled again as Licht’s aura clashed with the dragon’s.
Where the dragon’s pressure sought to crush him into dust, Licht’s rose higher and higher , burning brightly and refusing to ever be below.
And that was only the beginning.
The clash only seemed to rise and when it approached its zenith something seemed to click inside Licht’s body

『Greed’s Gaze has descended』
Licht’s vision changed instantly.
Colors twisted and time fractured as the world warped around his eyes. Every second that passed Licht felt his senses expanding beyond human comprehension.
In that moment, what Licht saw was more than just a dragon.
He saw the soul, the core, the memory.
He saw every life the dragon had ended, Every kingdom it had burned, every treasure it had stole
And somewhere within that inferno—
Licht saw a figure laughing golden throne.
——-
While Licht was deep within his own visions—wandering through shifting symbols, abstract truths, and divine memory—
The dragon, too, was experiencing a revelation.
But where Licht’s visions were strange, esoteric, and boundless in potential—
The dragon’s visions could only be described with one word.
Hell.
Dragons were not mere monsters.
They were the apex magical species— one so perfect, so potent, that entire ages had once worshiped them as gods.
Born with a collective memory, each dragon inherited the entire archive of its kind.
Ancient knowledge. Bloodline instincts. Warnings encoded into their very being.
And that’s why it knew.
It knew exactly what had descended upon it and where this overwhelming sense of dread was coming from.
Greed.
Even more dangerous than Pride, Greed was the original sin of dragons.
They were creatures of hoarding, obsession, and dominion. Their lives were spent amassing treasure, not merely out of vanity, but compulsion.
And if even a finger touched what they considered theirs, They quickly would descend into a berserk madness that could level kingdoms.
Because of this obsession, dragons had a tragic history—one that revolved around a name too terrifying to forget:
The Keeper of the First Hoard.
The Lord of Shackled Thrones.
The Gilded Tyrant.
Zerathis.
A being born from the greed origin of the emotion of greed
A twisted entity that preyed on their most sacred instinct—
using their longing, their hunger, their need—to break them, enslave them, and feed on them.
And now, as the Gaze of Greed descended, the Void itself became a prison of torment.
The dragon heard them—
The wails.
The Wretched and tortured screams of other dragons that had long lost themselves to this madness.
Their cries echoed in every direction—choking the air, warping the Void, poisoning every thought.
The dragon’s mind fractured, Its spirit shattered and at that lowest point, when all hope had evaporated into ash—
A voice, deep and godlike, boomed through its soul: freewebnøvel.coɱ
Submit.
Before the dragon could begin to contemplate on the god like voice in its mind, chains of black-gold erupted from the Void.
They wrapped around its wings, its throat, its claws. The chains were shackles dragging the dragon down, squeezing, twisting and—
CRACK!
With one final snap, the massive beast popped into a streak of light—its physical form shattered, its soul compressed.
What remained was a glowing silver shield, floating silently in the darkness.
Licht blinked.
Then grinned.
And then—he laughed.
A full, unrestrained, tired laugh of someone who’d fought too hard for too long... and finally won.
This was the very object he’d come for.
The legendary equipment :
Guardian Dragon Shield
「 Guardian Dragon Shield 」
Type: Growth/Shield
Rarity: Legendary
Effects:
•+80% Physical Defense
•Dragon’s Guard: Automatically blocks one fatal blow per combat ( Cool down 2 days)
•Soulbound Evolution: Can absorb, armor, or defensive equipment to grow stronger.
As the item descriptions showed, it was a wonderful relic
A defensive artefact forged from the soul of a dragon, capable of incredible protection and boundless potential.
But more importantly—
It was a growth-type item.
As a growth-type item, it meant that the shield could bind itself to another piece of defensive equipment, amplifying its stats and granting it stronger defensive abilities. But the binding came at a cost.
If the Guardian Dragon Shield was ever unbound—
The item it was connected to would be destroyed.
But even that had a twist.
Part of the destroyed item’s defensive properties would be permanently absorbed by the shield—
making it even stronger the next time it bound itself.
A true weapon that could accompany the player from early all the way to late game.
Licht then reached out towards and felt his heartbeat speeding up

Would you like to use Enlightmen Points to generate new trait?
For a moment, Licht hesitated.
Enlightenment Points had never existed in the game before, so he had no idea what would happen if he used one now.
It was entirely possible that the outcome would be worse than if he had never used it at all.
But eventually, Licht grit his teeth and chose to go all in.
This world was hellish.
He remembered just how brutal the game had been—even back then, when he was still on earth, he still hadn’t managed to properly complete the game
Now that this world was no longer just a game to survival was everything. I he tried to play things safe and steady, Licht would still meet a grizzly fate in the end. If Licht wanted to survive, he had to become stronger, and to do that, he had to gamble
Using Enlightenment Points... Generating new trait...
Congratulations, Player Licht D. Valtier.
