"The fuck?!" – said the player of the church that was fighting at the frontlines.

"Wait…. What is up with the hidden objectively?!" – said other confused player.

"The hell is going on?!"

The system messenge regarding the death of the pope as well as the lose of the main base ended up and even the hidden objective had spread the chaos among the church forces.

Without even realizing, the church main base was attacked and it was both taken over and that the faction leader was defeated.

This system notification not only spread the news about the forces of the church, but also signific weakened them.

The church forces tried moving backwards, towards their main base, but this panic move resulted in the fatal error, their lines of defense ended up becoming vurnable and ended up getting now easily conquered, since not only most of the soldier retreated, but the forces of the church were under penalty debuff.

The forces at the front lines that belonged to the kingdom and the organization were now able easily break the enemy fortification while also easily conquering any settlements, with resulted in the high rate casualties among the church forces. Not only that, but some of the divine beast ended up being taken down in the process, resulting in the church morals dropping.

The new leader of the church, the general Akran Krakon, had taken over the command of the church and instantly ordered all soldiers to regroup…. However, the chaos of the battlefield was too much.

The church soldiers ended up becoming completely useless. The situation within their own ranks became so chaotic and unstable to the point they couldn't properly fallow orders.

Some wanted to fallow general orders, while others wanted to hold and defend the temples, ignoring the general orders.

This ended up making the church forces even more vurnable, with obviously resulted in them getting wiped out, alongside the divine beast that were assigned to the respective armies.

And with each major settlement lost, so was the underground table disabled, resulting in the divine beast now losing most of their power and ending up becoming easy targets.

As for the still somewhat "calm" members of the church army led by the general, they retreated back to their main base in order to try and take it over.

However, surprisingly enough the base wasn't defended by the organization forces. In fact, it was completely abandoned.

The forces of the church were able to reclaim their main base…. However, there was an problem.

The holy vessel had been stolen.

Not only that, but the main temple, the chapel, had sustained too much damage, resulting in it being unable to supply power to the divine beast.

This obviously meant one thing: Despair.

The church forces had lost their main way of defending themselves AND their only weapon that could possibly win their war.

The general tried doing something like gathering up the soldiers and suppressing the informations, but it didn't took long for the information and despair to spread around, resulting in many of the church soldiers straight up fleeing…. And this made even worse situation for the church as their forces were now even more easily getting hunted down.

The territory of the church were rapidly shirking as the forces of both the kingdom and organization pushed through, conquering their territories.

10 divine beast.

6 divine beast.

3 divine beast.

1 divine beast.

The divine beast that were once symbol of fear and power of the church were getting easily hunted down as they had lost majority of their temples and main temple, resulting in the divine beast completely losing their power and becoming nothing more than decoration.

The remaining forces of the church had all gathered up in their main base as almost all of their territory had been taken over…. And before long, the final siege had happened where both the kingdom and organization forces had joined up and launched attack together.

And unfortunately for the church, they had no way of repairing the city nor temple in time as none of the workers wanted to work for the church anymore and they either run away or joined the kingdom side, resulting in the church main base being nothing more than hollow remains of what it was once was.

The siege battle was one sided and the church could do nothing but watch as their remaining forces were easily taken down as the alliance forces entered and were conquering the city.

Before long, the last divine beast was taken down, allowing the forces of the alliance to take over the city, expect for the main chapel where the general and his loyalist were holed up…. But even so, all of them were hunted down one by one, even when some of them tried to run away, but failing as the vampire found them and devoured them.

The only one left was the head of the church forces… But even he in his desperate struggle could do nothing as he was outnumbered.

He killed many soldiers, but in the end he ended up being wrapped in chains and thrown to the prison, resulting in the church forces getting complete defeated.

And with the church defeat, the faction quest has ended.

"…."

"Huh…. So…. Huh." – said Hunter while sitting right next to the Doctor on top of the building while looking at the general of the church getting put in chains.

"…."

"What is it?" – asked Doctor.

"N-no. W-well…. Em….. Okay. Fuck it." – said Hunter.

"I kind of though this would…. Well, I kind of though this would end in different way."

"I though maybe we would fight the incomplete holy vessel like you speculated or that general as some sort of "FINALY BOSS BATTLE", but no. We didn't do that."

"Pretty much, after we killed the pope and stole the holy vessel, we straight up were told to do nothing and just move the vessel…. And pretty much everything went down hill in these past few days…. And it ended like that?"

"…. Welp, if you want an challenge, then come down there. That guy wants you apparently dead for killing his son." – said Doctor.

"HUNTER! YOU BITCH! SHOW YOURSELF!" – shouted the voice of the general that could be heard from very far away.

"…Yea… No thank you…. And there isn't kind of reason why, since he is already chained up." – replied Hunter.

"Well… If I'm being honestly, I also quiet expected something like the incomplete holy vessel or the general boss fight.." – replied Doctor.

"Yea…. I don't know what to say….."

"Welp, this kind of proofs that you don't need to win some sort of "BIG BOSS FIGHT" to win the war in this game."

"But didn't we fought the pope monster form? Doesn't that count?" – said Hunter.

"Yea, but I mean like on the end of the war that kind of fight, like final "FINAL" fight kind of deal in games."

"…. Oh… Yea, that kind. Hm…" – replied Hunter before stopping.

"Paycheck time." – replied Doctor.

"Lets see what will happened and lets hope we will get some nice and juicy rewards from both the kingdom and the organization."

"And then, we will wait for the new orders."

"Hm? And what is that?" – asked Hunter.

"Well…. I wonder how much pissed off that goodness will be after all this…. I wish I can see her face." – replied Doctor.

(So… With that the church is pretty much done for… AND we had secured the second holy vessel… Well, not as good as the first one, but still, we got the second one that contains goodness Akima divinity.) – though Doctor.

(With what had happened today, it will be just matter of the time before most if not all churches out there be it from heaven or hell declare us as their enemies…. This will be worldwide war.)

(But, its not like the organization is weak. In fact, with this defeat an seed of doubt was planted into believers of many different religions and many people may end up supporting if not joining the organization.)
