[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor-Chapter 418 - 417 – Acting out of order.

"…. Oh no…." – said the Daughter of Mercy as she gazed at her ring as it glow faded away.

"Iron Will…."

"Shit! They are attacking the doors!" – said the paladin as the barricaded doors started being assaulted by something from other side.

"How?! Did they already gotten rid off everybody!?"

"APPLY SEALS AND BARRIERS! THE ENEMY CAN'T REACH US!" – shouted the high priest as the priest alongside the paladins started reinforcing the door.

"Miss Maryia." – said the elderly priestess.

"Please take one of the angels and get out of here. We will hold the line while you make your escape."

"!?"

"B-but if I do that, then you will surely die!" – replied scared little girl.

"THERE IS NO TIME!" – shouted the elderly priestess as she instantly summoned her winged angel creature.

"You! Get her as far away from here as possible!"

"NOW!"

The angel without wasting a second instantly grabbed the little girl who tried resisting the angels help…. But in the very next moment as the angel lifted off, the door suddenly exploded, sending anybody near it flying away, before moments later a hail of magic bullets came flying, hitting the angel that was carrying a little girl, ripping her apart, instantly killing the creature and making the Daughter Of Mercy fall back on the ground.

"Sorry, but no sorry." – said Doctor as he walked through the smoke.

"Nobody is escaping from here." – said Doctor as the holy empire soldiers tried attacking the Doctor, only for the organization forces to quickly assault them and overwhelmed instantly, taking down the holy empire soldiers with ease.

The elderly priestess tried summoning another angel, but right as she was about to do it, Doctor instantly closed up the distance between them and grabbed the elderly woman by her head, before then instantly crushing it, dropping her lifeless body right in front of Daughter Of Mercy, who just froze up in fear as she stared at the corpse.

"!"

"[Mercy Sanctuary]!" – but just in time, she snapped out from her confused stated and deployed a barrier, blocking Doctor's fist as the giant mechanical monster started assaulting the barrier nonstop.

"Would you mind stopping?" – asked Doctor as he continues banging on the barrier with his poisoned fists.

"All the people in the castle are dead and there is no way you can survive this until somebody comes here!"

The girl stared terrified at the giant metallic monster…. Before then looking around and noticing all the priest and paladins that were in the room just getting murdered left and right.

Ripped apart, drained of their blood or just crushed to death.

The terrified girl focuses waved, but was instantly regained as she continuously heard Doctor hitting her barrier, damaging it, which feared the girl with even more fear as she instantly repaired the damage.

(As long as I keep focus, he won't break in!) – thought the Daughter Of Mercy, managing to keep her barrier perfectly operational…. Only to then other soldiers and monsters coming from all the directions, before then starting to attack the barrier.

She was surrounded.

No matter where she looked, there were enemies everywhere.

True, her barrier would not easily shatter as long as she remained focused.

Daughter Of Mercy doesn't really possess any offensive ability.

Her specialty are barriers and healing skills.

She was used to the screams.

She was used to begging.

She was used to crying.

She was used to be looked up upon.

She was used to seeing death.

She was used to seeing torture.

She was used to seeing and experiencing all sort of things.

But this time?

There was no hope.

The enemy surrounded her from all directions and she was the only one left standing.

She knew that she was alone, she knew they were not lying.

But as long as she believed in herself, as long as she poured all of her strength in her barrier, the enemy won't get her.

That is what she thought, before then she started noticing her barrier cracking once again.

She poured all of her strength to keep the barrier up…. And yet the barrier started cracking?!

There was no excuse this time…. There was nothing.

She realized that her barrier won't be able to hold them off.

And that very moment, instantly destroyed her confided, causing the fear to slip in.

"I'm sorry! Please! No!" – the girl tried begging for her mercy…. But the monsters showed no response whatsoever as they continue hitting the barrier, trying to demolish it.

As the girls focus wavered, so did her barrier as it started slowly losing more strength, causing it to be damaged far more easily, before then finally shattering right in front of the girl's eyes.

"Bye." – said Doctor as he lifted up his arm and instantly swung it down.

The girl covered her eyes, expecting the death to come…. Only for nothing to happened.

The little girl slowly opened up her eyes and saw somebody standing right in front of her.

"Mind explaining yourself?" – said Doctor.

"Arthur?" – asked Doctor as his fist was being blocked by the Arthur's sword.

"With all due respect." – said Arthur.

"We should not kill her."

"And why is that?" – asked Doctor.

"Our orders were simple."

"Eliminate her and get out."

"Or are you still thinking about trying to get her out?"

"Answer: Fuck off."

"It won't be possible, even for us."

"Now move."

And right in the next moment, the female cat girl rushed out from the shadows and grabbed the Daughter Of Mercy, before then starting to instantly run away towards the window…. Only for Hunter to also emerge from the shadows and then striking both girls, knocking them away.

"I knew it." – said Doctor who got up as the [Poison Shell] started crumbling off his body.

"…Defensive skill…." – said Arthur as his party quickly ran towards their leader.

"Yeb. I fucking knew it you were going to betray us." – said Doctor.

"The moment you fucking asked that question."

"The question about 'taking her hostage instead of killing her'."

"Get him." – commanded Doctor, ordering the monsters and soldiers to attack Arthur's guild, who without even wasting even a moment started blasting.

"I will hold off the Doctor! Go!" – said Arthur as he quickly rushed at Doctor and started fighting them, while the cat girl ninja alongside Mara rushed towards Hunter, whom instantly blocked the spearwoman's furies attacks and then counterattacked with her scythe, pushing back spearwoman, before then rushing backwards and attacking a shadow, dragging out the cat girl with the Daughter Of Mercy out of it, before then throwing then away.

"You idiot." – said Hunter.

"Using and mastering shadow element skills are two different thing."

"There is no way you will ever get past me using it."

"Then how about this!" – said Coin as she took out a sphere like object and threw it down, instantly unleashing a cloud of smoke which instantly covered the entire area.

And right in the next moment, Coin quickly ran past Hunter while carrying the Daughter Of Mercy…. However, there was no reaction whatsoever from Hunter who then just launched forward and swung her scythe, cutting right through the smoke both the real Coin and Daughter Of Mercy.

"Really?" – asked Hunter.

"Did you really fucking through I wouldn't be able to tell fakes apart?" – said Hunter before then getting attacked by Mara's spears, forcing Hunter to quickly block and back away.

"Oh look."

"Tsundure decided to pick up a fight."

"Tch."

"Fuck off, toy." – said Mara.

"Ever since I saw you in that tournament, I realize that I don't really like you."

"Oh, what a surprise." – replied Hunter.
