(Okay. I'm confused like hell.) – thought Arthur as he wandered through the main part of the temple.

(I mean, what the hell?! Why the hell is there so much lore drops out of nowhere?!)

(Should they really just drop so much lore right on top of me from get go? Shouldn't they give that kind of information right in the middle or…. Wait.)

(What if I'm not even supposed to be here?)

(I mean, the cultist players are the ones that discovered this place and got exposed by the holy empire…. So does that mean these guys found some sort of end game spot?)

(….Still, it is not like I can just leave.)

(Even though the monsters stopped attacking me, the exit was still blocked…. And that alone left me with no choice but to come here…. However, this bloody place looks like some of altar?) – thought Arthur as he gazed at the altar in the middle of the spacious room.

"…"

(Yea… Something will definitely jump me the moment I get close to this thing…. Then again, I really don't have free will anymore.) – thought Arthur as he approached the altar nervously.

The moment Arthur stepped near the alter, a burst of flames suddenly erupted from alter, which ended up going on the rampage, enveloping the entire room and instantly trapping Arthur inside as the only exit out of the room was instantly sealed up with flames.

"Oh god fucking dammit! A boss!" – said Arthur as he drew his sword.

"…"

"You can put it down." – said the echoing voice as the flames started fusing together, forming a shape of a human.

"Greetings, wonderer from beyond." – said the flames as they gained a humanoid form made out of yellowish flames.

"My name is…. Well…. Truth to be told, I no longer have a name."

"But for the convenience, just call me the Sun Mask." – said the creature of fire as solid golden mask resembling sun suddenly manifested right on top of the creature face.

"So…. No fighting?" – asked alarmed Arthur who still held onto his sword.

"No." – replied Sun Mask.

"Unless you are devoted fallowers of the Traitorous Witch Of Light."

"…"

"Honestly, I don't know." – replied Arthur as he sheeted his blade.

"You are talking about the Holy Mother Of Light…. Or more exactly, her other name from the ancient war, yes?"

"Yes…. You read them, didn't you? You seen them, didn't you?" – asked the Sun Mask.

"Yea…. I did." – replied Arthur.

"Then let me ask you this…. What do you think?" – asked Sun Mask.

"Honestly, I don't know." – replied Arthur.

"It wasn't that long since I've started pl- I mean! We came to this world!"

"I've thought that the holy mother and their fallowers were quote on quote, 'GOOD GUYS'."

"However, from what I seen here, it turns out that isn't the case…."

"Unless you are some sort of demon and stuff."

"Ha…. Demon…. And if I was just a demon, then why I ordered the guardians to not slaughter you like a rest?" – asked Sun Mask as it laughed.

"Honestly, I was planning on killing you…. But you reading these documents and taking them proven that you were not the traitorous fanatic like the rest of the people that came with you."

"Yea…. I was…. But what now?" – asked nervous Arthur.

"I mean, you said you could kill me at any moment…. So why are you not doing that?"

"Well, simple put, there is a problem." – replied Sun Mask.

"The hell and heavens are beyond greedy."

(Holy shit! This can't be fucking real right now!)

(I mean, the game only started like what? Few months ago?! And I'm already getting a legendary?! How legal is this?!)

(No wait! Betrayal?! Does that mean I will lose all the favorability and the faction points I've had obtained?!)

(Not only that, I would also lose all of my divine classes?! But I've just obtained them!)

(I went through a living hell to get those and now I'm going to just 'let them go'?!)

"From what I know, the elder gods were enemies with everything all at once, right? Heaven, hell, spirits and so on, right?" – asked Arthur.

"So, if I were to get this class, would I automatically join the elder god faction and be enemies with everybody?"

"The elder god faction no longer exists, since all of them had given their life to banish and seal the entrances to this world." – replied Sun Mask.

"You wouldn't need to join any faction per say…. But, as I've said before, the invaders envied and greed over what remained after the elder gods."

"If they were to find out about this power, they would undoubtable hunt you down."

"Either to make you theirs."

"Or to destroy you out of fear."

"If I were you, I wouldn't dare to use this power yet."

"I'm going to be plain with you."

"As of right now? You are straight up nobody."

"If you were to use that power out in the open, the eyes of the fanatics would report it to their gods and in turn…. Well, you could see how this would end up."

"…So… As long as I don't use it, like in front of anybody, then I'm okay, right?" - asked Arthur.

"This is correct." – replied Sun Mask.

"You need to first become stronger on your own while also developing the power of the saint."

"Once you become strong enough, then you will be able to take on the traitorous fallowers."

"Once you take on this power, you will be faced to fulfil a mission assigned to you."

"This world will be destroyed as long as the invaders are roaming in this world."

(I will straight up become number one enemy with each faction?! Fuck that hard mode!)

(Then again…I really don't want this world to face the worst ending and end up either being destroyed or enslaved…)

"Fine!" – said Arthur.

"I will take on the job of saving this world."
