[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor-Chapter 442 - 441 – End of holy empire.

"…How….How is the situation?" – asked exhausted holy emperor as he sat on his throne.

"N-not good sir." – replied holy knight.

"Some of our gates have already been breached by the enemy and enemy is fully focused their artier weapons at our angels and gryphons."

"We can't provide any form of airer support nor we are able to block off the enemy from entering the city."

"Your children are somewhat able to keep up some points from being collapsed and taken over by the enemy…. But the area where they are not present resulted in the enemy quickly devouring the said areas."

"Sir! Urgent news! Sector 17 and 18 has been conquered! The enemy have fully taken over the Northen gate!" – said panicking messenger as he entered the throne room, before moments later a second messenger entered the room.

"YOUR MAJESTY! DAUGHTER OF LOYALTY IS REQUESTING A SUPPORT IN THIS INSTANCE! THE ENEMY DRAGONS ARE SWARMING HER LOCATION!" – said terrified messenger.

"Wait! What about the arch angels that were with her?!" - asked exhausted holy emperor as he started getting up.

"T-they were all bombarded by the enemy cannons. The Daughter Of Loyalty entire base was completely annihilated." – replied terrified messenger.

"…"

(Dammit! There is just way too many of these fuckers!) - thought the holy emperor who was still exhausted from trying empowering the entire Great Barrier.

(My children should be able to deal with the stronger enemies all on their own…. But the problem is their fucking numbers.)

(Not only that, but with each part of the city being taken over, our holy powers weakens.)

(At this rate, the holy city will lose its main function and our forces will end up becoming nothing more than punching bags!)

"What about the hidden paths? Can we take those?" – asked worried noble.

"N-no. The enemy quickly took control over areas where our main hidden paths are…. We won't be able to leave the city unless we break through their forces." – replied holy knight.

"Then what about the ritual!? With the army of the heavens, we can smite down these heretics!" – said elderly priest.

"T-that…. The ritual is almost over…. But we won't be able to activate the summoning in time." – said terrified holy knight.

"THEN OPEN IT UP?! SUMMON SOMETHING AT LEAST!" – shouted the elderly priest.

"Sir! That is not how specific rituals works! This isn't a gate summoning!" – shouted young priest.

"Shut it! Fucking useless piece of shit! Out of my way! I will deal with this problem on my own!" – said elderly priest as he stormed out of the throne room.

"Your holiness." – said young holy knight as he turned towards the holy emperor.

"What do we do?"

"…"

"We fight." – said the holy emperor.

"WE ARE THE CHOSEN OF THE LIGHT!"

"WE ARE BELOWED BY THE MOTHER OF HEAVENS!"

"THEY THINK THEY CAN JUST CRUSH US WITH THEIR NUMBERS AND WEAPONS?!"

"HA!"

"LET THEM TRY!"

"SINCE THE ONES GETTING DESTORYED TODAY WILL BE THEM!"

The holy emperor tried giving speech to his people in order to boost their morals…. But in reality?

It straight up did nothing.

The organization pure fire power from their advance weapons was quickly annihilating anybody in the city while also taking down every single one of flying enemies.

The dragons that were once looked down upon were finally able to rampage completely unrestricted as they razed the entire city, while the vampires raided and devoured anybody inside.

And to make matters worse, the holy emperor tried using a meat shield tactic using the citizens.

He was trying to buy time for at least summoning of the holy army to be completed…. But that tactic straight up did nothing as the invaders were just cutting through anything that stood in their way.

With the large city being taken over bit by bit and with the large number of citizens casualties keep increasing, the power of the faith within the city ended up collapsing, weakening the holy empire forces.

And that in turn made them even easier targets to be hunted down.

True, the children of the holy emperor and his holy knights were able to somewhat stand their ground…. But it didn't mattered one bit as everything around them was turn to ashes.

And before long?

They too started falling down.

*Huff* *Huff*

"Re….Report…" – said the exhausted Son Of Will as he supported himself with his own bow.

"Half….No… Most…. Most of our….Men…. Are…. Shit." – said the holy knight before then falling down to the ground.

"…"

(This isn't good.) – thought the Son Of Will as he peaked outside his cover and looked down from his outpost, noticing a large army of inhuman monsters approaching his location.

(The divine power…. Shit. I'm almost out of it.)

(Dammit! They are cutting power everywhere!) – thought the young man as he suddenly jumped out from his location as chimera with giant claws climbed over the wall and tried to kill the man.

"Piss off." – said the young man as he unleashed an arrow of light that struck the creature in the forehead and straight up blew up, killing the creature and knocking down all the chimeras that were also about the climb up.

"…"

(Fuck…. This is just great….)

"All forces…. Retreat." – said Son Of Will.

"!?"

"Your holiness?! W-why?! If we-"

"LOOK AROUND YOU! THIS PLACE HAS ALREADY FALLEN! AND DEFENDING IT IS JUST STRAIGHT UP POINTLESS!" – shouted Son Of Will at the holy knight.

"We are heading straight to the main castle and-"

However, right as the Son Of Will was about give his instruction, a large shadow suddenly leaped out from the outside, covering up the young man.

"!"

The young man quickly leaped out from his spot as something gigantic smashed right down where he just stood.

"Huh…. So, it was you shooting those annoying arrows." – said the Doctor in his second form.

"Son Of Will."

"…"

"The Mad Man Monster, the Doctor, huh?" – said Son Of Will as he stood up.

(Fun fucking tasting.)

(Just what I bloody needed.)

(A giant fucking monster!) – thought the Son Of Will as he instantly manifested three arrows of light and fired it at the giant monster, forcing the Doctor to quickly raise up his [Graveyard Wall], creating a wall of bones and flesh that took on the hits with ease.

"…Huh…"

"I've thought this would be way harder." – said Phantasia as his wall was destroyed.

"I guess only Daughter Of Justice was a pure monster, unlike the rest of you!" – shouted Phantasia as he quickly used [Step Strike] and [Lion Claw], instantly closing up the distance and smashing down his claws, destroying the whole area as the Son Of Will barely dodged the attack.

(Dammit! How the fuck this big fucker so fast?!) – thought the Son Of Will as he fired another two arrows, this time aiming straight for Phantasia face and blowing it up.

"…"

"You done?" – however, the giant monster was unamused as he quickly punched Son Of Will.

"?!"

But the thing he punched was just a solid light that dispersed upon impact.

"No." – said Son Of Will who stood on top of the wall.

"Far from it."

[Light Of Divine: Arrow]

The young man fired a blinding beam of light from his bow which instantly devour the giant mechanical monster as well as its entire surroundings.

"…"

"Okay. Are you done NOW?" – asked Phantasia as the smoke covered the entire area.

"?!"

"Oh, you got to be fucking kidding me." – said in disbelieve the Son Of Will as he then noticed something growing within the cloud of smoke.

"Since if are-"

"-Then I guess it would be my fucking turn?! Wouldn't it?!" – said Phantasia as he emerged out from the smoke, now in his fully transformed third form.

"…"

"Fuck me…. I guess we are doing this." – said Son Of Will.

[Meanwhile: Opposite end of the holy city.]

"What the hell do you mean use civilians as meat shields!?" – shouted pissed off Daughter Of Justice as she grabbed the holy knight by his neck and held him above the ground.

"WHO THE FUCK GAVE YOU THAT RIGHT?!"

"WE ARE HERE TO PROTECT! NOT KILL THEM!"

"ANSWER ME! YOU FUCKING COWARD!"

"E-EMPEROR! E-emperor himself gave the command!" – said the holy knight.

"Fucking liar!" – said the pissed off Daughter Of Justice as she was suddenly ambushed by vampires…. Only for to instantly take them all down with a single slash of her sword of light.

"H-he isn't lying! This order truly came from the emperor himself!" – said the terrified holy knight who was watching the scene unfold.

"H-he told us to use any means necessary to stall the enemy in order for the heavenly army to be summoned!"

"And why the fuck I should…."

(No wait….) – thought Daughter Of Justice as she let go of the holy knight's neck.

(He….But that doesn't make sense…. Then again… Based on how he has acted ever since the second holy city has fallen….)

"Oh god…. He truly did it…. Didn't he?"

"Ma'am?" – said the holy knight as he noticed the young lady walking towards the edge of the wall and looking around as the entire chaos unfolds.

"The city is lost…. And so is the empire." – said the Daughter Of Justice.

"…And the one that was meant to protect it has gone mad beyond control."

"And with that pain chest, I order this."

"The holy emperor has betrayed the holy empire in his desperation."

"All forces here will be officially under my control and no complains shall be made."

"?!"

"W-wait! Are you telling us to commit a treason?!" – asked terrified holy knight.

"It is not a treason when the empire has already abandoned you, has it?" – replied Daughter Of Justice.

"With that being said, you will all now prioritize my order above that of the emperor."

"Evacuation."

"We will attempt to break through the enemy lines and evacuate as many people as possible."

"Be it soldiers and civilians."

"Do you understand?"

"Survive."

"This is the new order you are given."
