The Twin Tailed Lizards would feast upon their favorite meal, which was the eggs of the Dagger Beak Falcons.

Their scales also looked similar to the surface of the Spindle Hills, which provided them camouflage and helped them avoid the retaliation of the Dagger Beak Falcons.

After all, even if the Twin Tailed lizards were stronger than the Dagger Beak Falcons, a swarm of them could still end their lives rather quickly. Even if it meant death of all those that attacked them.

In moments like those the predator would become the prey. This was how a balance was achieved in the Spindle Hills, where the number of Dagger Beak Falcons was kept at a certain limit and the same happened to the Twin Tailed Lizards.

If not for that, perhaps these beasts would have spread further to other areas too, causing greater issues for the players.

"Okay, you'll have to watch my back for any of the Dagger Beak Falcons Brambles. I need to kill that lizard up there." Arthur spoke in a low voice.

"Ki~" Brambles said in a low chitter too, knowing that they needed to avoid making too much noise.

But with how far up the Twin Tailed Lizard was, Arthur knew climbing there was not an option.

Arthur switched from Water Slicer to Stone Bullets, as he wished to have better range. Once he did that, he got closer to the Spindle like hill, his sneak skill assisting him in hiding his presence.

"Spear coating!" Arthur thrust the spear, causing stone shards to shoot out of its tip with added momentum.

The stone shards struck the hind legs of the Twin Tailed Lizard, causing it to be startled and losing grip on the hillside.

The stone projectiles kept on hitting it making its HP drop and soon enough it couldn't hold on and fell off! 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝓮𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝙢

Upon hitting the ground, the cries of the Twin Tailed Lizard stopped as its jaws were shut forcefully from the impact.

"Hmm, a single stat point." Arthur wasn't exactly disappointed by the number but did find it a bit lacking. "I guess the Twin Tailed Lizard is weaker and not on the same standard as the Ember Bellow Lizard." He muttered to himself.

Still, even a single point was good as this was a free increase. Arthur didn't need to spend any of his precious free stat points to obtain this. As such, any amount would be welcome and there would never be a day that he would not like this.

'I've only killed one. I have four more to kill for the quest, but there should be a few more in the area.' Arthur reckoned.

While the Twin Tailed Lizards were a bounty, it didn't mean that there weren't more than the number stated in the quest. It just meant that their population had increased enough, such that it was deemed necessary to kill a few of them.

It was a way of balancing things out, especially since many merchants and other people needed to pass through this area, too. Then there were a few people who would come to gather materials and minerals from this area.

To make it safer for them, a bounty was placed on the Twin Tailed Lizards.

"Potentially four more points to get. And if I'm lucky, maybe even a new skill?" Arthur smiled and began his search for more of the Twin Tailed Lizards.

Arthur and Brambles wandered for thirty minutes before they heard some loud sounds.

"Mmm?" Arthur's eyes went wide as he felt the ground trembling as well. "Huh, looks like we won't have to look far for the second bounty." Arthur smiled and pulled out the spear from the Night's Abyssal Cape.
