VRMMORPG: Dragomancer Reborn-Chapter 268 Two Lizards With One Spell

While Brambles continued to rest, Arthur assessed their surroundings.

"If the Hammer Head Ox was heading there, it probably means it had sensed its rival." Arthur muttered to himself. "I guess that's where we'll find the second target of the bounty." He looked towards the depths of the Spindle Hills.

Thankfully, it wasn't that much off their path, as heading there one would still reach the Oxal Mountains in the end.

Albeit, in a different section of it.

'Though I should still focus on the Twin Tailed Lizards first.' Arthur thought to himself. 'Need to gain as many stats as I can.' He glanced at the status window before settling his gaze on one of the titles.

This was the 'One who survived 10 days' title. It provided him a stat bonus for everyday he stayed alive for a maximum of ten days.

"It's been four days for it… it doesn't feel much different in stats now, but I guess it'll only improve as I go on." Arthur muttered to himself.

The stat bonus was at 4% which when considering his overall stats wasn't much.

'But once it reaches its max stack of 10% that's when it'll be the best,' Arthur calculated in his mind.

If he was level 30 and had the 10% boost in stats, it would be the same as having the stats of someone at level 33!

Of course, since Arthur had higher stats than most other players due to his class, and the bonuses he got due to Dragonic Vengeance, the boost would be even greater.

'Is it factoring in the decimals though?' Arthur wondered and clicked on the stat window.

There was an option at the side for Arthur to see the additional bonus stats on the stats window.

"Just as I thought, not much." Arthur said seeing the new window.

Since the window only counted the stats as whole numbers, the decimals did not appear.

'Only when they reached a whole number, would it increase the count. Though once it hits 10% it'll be a lot better.' Arthur reckoned.

Even if the majority of his stat bonuses were just 1 for each, it was still decent. After all, it was basically granting him stats from half a level right now.

"Kiri~" Brambles chittered, making Arthur look towards him at this moment.

"You ready?" Arthur asked.

"Ki~" The beetle replied.

"Good, let's go. We got a lot more of them to hunt." Arthur said and dismissed the windows.

The two searched the Spindle Hills for their targets which were the Twin Tailed Lizards. Arthur didn't focus on the Hammer Head Ox, as he knew there was a better chance of the beast finding him first instead.

Plus, it was much more of an effort to find the Twin Tailed Lizards which could use camouflage to hide. They also tended to stay on the hills, as such Arthur had to crane his neck to find them.

Thankfully, Dragonic Insight helped a lot here.

"Huh, two of them this time." Arthur saw the pop-up.

He focused on the highlighted targets and spotted them on the hillside.

One of them was hiding in a small crevice, while the second higher leveled Twin Tailed Lizard was a small distance above it, nestled under an outcrop.

Arthur couldn't see what was on the outcrop from this angle, but he was sure it was another nest of the Dagger Beak Falcons.

"Time to hit two birds— Two lizards with one stone." Arthur spoke as he extended his hand toward the Twin Tailed Lizards on the hill.

"Stone Bullet!" The spell was activated and stone shards shot out of Arthur's hand, quickly reaching the Twin Tailed Lizard that was below the outcropping.

"SAAAAAA~" Only two of the stone bullets actually managed to hit the Twin Tailed Lizard, but it was still enough to startle it.

The second Twin Tailed Lizard was unaffected though, as none of the Stone bullets had reached it. But that wasn't Arthur's aim in the first place. Even if he had tried hitting it, there was no chance the stone bullets would hit it in the crevice.

But since the top Twin Tailed Lizard was hit, its grip on the hillside weakened and it slid down.

"HASAAAA!" the second Twin Tailed Lizard inside the crevice was startled by this, as the legs of the level 23 Twin Tailed Lizard popped into the crevice.

It tried to solidify its grip by using the crevice as a foothold.

Unfortunately, the level 23 Twin Tailed Lizard ended up scratching the level 21 Twin Tailed Lizard inside the crevice.

The lower leveled Twin Tailed Lizard hissed in annoyance and lashed back at the level 23 Twin Tailed Lizard.

"SAAAAAAAAAAAA!" This was exactly what Arthur wanted as the level 23 Twin Tailed Lizard ended up falling further down.

But the lower leveled Twin Tailed Lizard's actions were bad for itself too. As the falling lizard tried to grab onto it while falling!

"And now they fall." Arthur watched as the two Twin Tailed Lizards plummeted from the hillside.

The level 23 Twin Tailed Lizard ended up receiving higher damage from the fall, as its kin landed on top of it.

The two beasts writhed in pain, unaware of the greater threat incoming.

"Spear coating! Wide sweep!" Arthur swung Dietrich, activating two skills together.

A sharp of water was created along with Wide Sweep, dealing high damage to the two Twin Tailed Lizards.
