Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 252 - 251: Scene Grabbing
"Vivi, have some hot water to warm yourself up." The assistant cautiously handed over the cup of hot water.
Vivian Norris looked up at her coldly.
The assistant shivered in fear, her hand holding the cup of hot water froze mid-air.
Vivian said, "How’s the investigation on Bella Acker’s past going?"
The assistant checked her expression, cautiously said, "For some reason, the people we hired couldn’t find anything on Bella Acker. It’s as if someone deliberately covered up all her affairs."
"How is that possible?" Vivian frowned, "Get someone else to investigate. I refuse to believe she doesn’t have a single scandal."
"Yes." The assistant paused, then said, "Vivi, should we hire paparazzi to follow her 24/7?"
Vivian thought about it, nodded in agreement, "Hmm, go contact them. It’d be best if we can capture her being intimate with Archer Quinn. I want her to fall just where she rose from!"
"Okay."
Vivian put away her phone, her expression had returned to normal, and she smiled as she took the cup of hot water from the assistant, saying, "You’ve had a tough month, once this is over, I’ll give you a bonus."
"Thank you, Vivi." The assistant was secretly pleased.
Though Vivian could be harsh with her temper, she was indeed generous. Otherwise, she wouldn’t stay by Vivian’s side for so long.
Break time was over, and everyone resumed filming.
Bella Acker’s role had transitioned from being innocent and lively to vicious and ruthless. At such times, controlling facial expressions and eyes to interpret inner drama was crucial, putting acting skills to the test.
Filming wasn’t as easy for Bella as it was before.
"CUT! This won’t do, let’s redo this scene. Bella, your gaze needs to be fiercer. Like this." Director Ford said, coming up personally to instruct, "Vivi, let’s run through it again."
"Alright." Vivian nodded, and recited her lines again, "Sister, just trust me."
"Trust? How do you want me to trust you?" Director Ford’s expression changed instantly, looking at Vivian with what seemed like a mix of sneer and mockery, as he delivered Hera’s lines, "It wasn’t your child who died, so of course you can speak so lightly."
In one second, Director Ford was saying lines and acting, in the next, he turned to Bella and continued his directions, "Alright, when you reach here, your eyes should show fierceness, but behind that fierceness should be more hatred. Once you grasp these emotions, follow with the next lines. Got it?"
Bella nodded, "Got it."
"Good, let’s do another take." Director Ford walked back, "Everyone pay attention, move the reflector board a bit forward, raise the boom mic so it’s not in the shot, good! Three, two, one, action!"
The female lead played by Vivian, Jasmine, entered the inner chamber with her maid, Bella portraying Hera lay on the bed with a sickly appearance. Upon seeing them enter, she merely lifted her eyes slightly before turning away, not greeting them, let alone acknowledging them.
With a glance, Jasmine signaled the palace maids in the room to leave. After everyone departed, she stepped to the bedside, sat down, and softly said, "Sister, just trust me."
"Trust? How do you want me to trust you?" Hera slowly turned to look at her, her sickly face marked with tear stains. Suddenly, she let out a cold laugh, lowered her gaze, "It wasn’t your child who died, so of course you can speak so lightly."
