Warm Married Life: Mr. President Loves His Darling Wife-Chapter 283 - 282: Feeling Sorry for Brother Quinn
Archer Quinn’s assistant was the same person Bella had met when she bought her phone, so they were somewhat familiar, "Yes, Brother Quinn is in the dressing room."
"Alright." Bella nodded, "Mom, I’ll go to Senior Quinn’s dressing room for a while."
"Go ahead." Sharon advised, "Don’t take too long, otherwise there won’t be time for makeup."
"Okay, I got it."
Bella followed the assistant to Archer Quinn’s private dressing room.
Archer Quinn had arrived much earlier than them, and his makeup was almost done.
"Senior Quinn, you were looking for me." Bella walked into the dressing room and asked.
"Yes." Archer turned to look at her, "Have you had breakfast? I’ve got some sandwiches and milk here."
The assistant secretly smirked on the side, clearly prepared for Bella but feigning nonchalance, their Brother Quinn’s way of pursuing a girl was really amusing.
"I already had breakfast with Mom on the way here." Bella sat down on the chair next to him.
Upon hearing this, the assistant quietly put down the breakfast intended for Bella, casting a sympathetic glance at Archer Quinn, feeling genuinely sorry for their Brother Quinn.
Archer gave the assistant a subtle glance and asked, "Mom?"
"Oh, it’s Ms. Cheney." Bella explained, "Just recognized her as my godmother this morning."
"That’s good." Archer nodded with a smile, taking out his phone, "I’ve selected a few messages, see if they’re suitable."
Bella raised an eyebrow at him in understanding of what he meant before taking the phone to look.
The scandals Archer had picked about Vivian Norris weren’t particularly severe, but they were crucial for the public image of a celebrity.
Once exposed, the image carefully crafted by Vivian Norris’s previous management team would immediately be overturned.
"Senior Quinn’s choices definitely can’t be wrong." Bella said, "I’ll go find someone to handle it."
"Finding someone is too much trouble, leave it to me." Archer replied, "Ultimately, I bear a lot of responsibility for this matter too. Just watching without doing anything makes my conscience uneasy. Plus, going to find someone now would take up a lot of time. I have the resources ready, might as well use them."
"Senior Quinn, are you talking about the friend you mentioned before?" Bella asked.
"Yes, she’s really skilled in this area." Archer answered, "Alright, it’s about to start soon, you’d better go back and get your makeup done."
"Okay, let me know if there’s any news." Bella also knew she didn’t have the connections in this area right now, making things indeed inconvenient and inefficient. But with Senior Quinn, it was different; he had a lot of experience in handling such matters, had the connections, and knew the perfect timing for a counterattack.
It’s just that this was initially her own matter, but in the end, she’d only made a request, and it was all Senior Quinn doing it. She felt somewhat uneasy about it.
"Alright." Archer nodded.
Bella was in a hurry to go back for makeup and start work, so she didn’t say much more and turned to leave.
"Bella..." Archer suddenly called her.
"Hmm?" Bella turned back, looking at him with confusion, "Senior Quinn, anything else?"
"Um... are you sure you don’t want to have some more breakfast? I tried it, and it tastes really good."
"No, I had a lot this morning, and I’m really full now." Bella shook her head, "Senior Quinn, you go ahead and eat. I’m off to get my makeup done."
