Welcome to the Innocent World-Chapter 280: Lyra and Afa
The night sky stretched vast above the island, a shimmering sea of stars glowing under the moon’s pale light, casting a silver sheen across the restless ocean below. The air crackled with raw tension, charged by the relentless energy of our battle. I stood on the shattered concrete, my black coat dusted with rubble, its purple seams glinting faintly in the moonlight. My dark aura pulsed steadily, tendrils of shadow curling around the sleek black sword in my hand, which I held upright in front of my face, my stance steady and my smirk sharp.
Across from me, Alaric emerged from the crater I’d slammed him into, his red aura blazing like a wildfire, his alien-like features—sharp cheekbones, faintly glowing skin—twisted with fury. His red eyes glowed with murderous intensity, blood still staining his cheek, his massive jagged sword clutched tightly, its crimson energy pulsing menacingly.
I tilted my head, my smirk widening as I adjusted my grip on my sword. "Guess I should try something new this time," I said, my voice casual but edged with challenge, my dark aura flaring slightly as I prepared for the next move.
Alaric growled, his voice low and seething as he stepped out of the crater, his boots crunching on the broken ground.
"This is pissing me off," he said, his red eyes blazing brighter, his aura surging with raw power. "I should’ve destroyed you by now. This was supposed to be easy. It’s pissing me off!" His voice rose, his frustration boiling over as his red aura erupted from his legs, the ground crackling and splintering beneath his feet, sending small chunks of concrete flying.
I raised an eyebrow, my smirk unwavering as I glanced at his feet, noting the sudden surge of strength. "Hmm!?" I said, my voice tinged with curiosity, my dark aura pulsing in response. *He’s powering up,* I thought, my eyes narrowing slightly, but my confidence held firm.
Below the chamber, Lyra sighed, brushing her blonde hair back as she stood up, her naked body glowing softly in the moonlight.
She reached for her clothes, pulling on a pair of panties, tugging them tightly over her curves. "Sighhh, I wonder what’s happening out there," she muttered, her voice tinged with curiosity as she slipped into her red one-piece outfit, hooking it over her shoulders. "There was a ton of clashing sounds just now—swords, fists, everything." Her eyes flicked upward, worry and pride battling in her expression.
Afa, still naked under the neon light, scoffed, pointing a finger at Lyra, her dark eyes blazing with anger. "Huh!? Whatever it is, your Zero’s dying today," she said, her voice sharp and smug. "Mark my words, he’s done for!"
Lyra sighed again, her voice heavy with exhaustion as she adjusted her outfit. "And there’s you, never shutting up," she said, her tone tired but sharp. "Always blabbering about something."
Afa’s face flushed red, her fists clenching as she took a step forward. "What did you just say to me?" she snapped, pushing her dark curls back, her voice trembling with rage as she glared at Lyra.
Lyra smirked, tossing her hair to one side and walking toward Afa, her eyes glinting with defiance. "You heard me," she said, her voice low and taunting. "You’re all talk, just like your alien up there. Keep running your mouth, see where it gets you."
Afa’s eyes widened, her body tensing as Lyra approached. "Why are you coming here?" she asked, her voice sharp but tinged with unease, her arms uncrossing as she braced herself.
Lyra, now dressed in her red one-piece outfit that hugged her curves tightly, stood with a wicked smirk, her blonde hair catching the moonlight as she cornered Afa against the rough concrete wall. Afa, still naked under the neon light, pressed herself back, her dark curls messy, her arms crossed defensively over her chest.
Their bodies were close, their chests brushing slightly, the air between them charged with a mix of defiance and something more intimate. Lyra’s eyes glinted with mischief as she reached out, lifting Afa’s chin with a single finger, tilting her face up so their gazes locked.
"So, sweetheart," Lyra said, her voice low and teasing, a sultry edge to her tone, "do you have superpowers like your alien up there?" She nodded toward the sky, where the *BOOM* of my latest clash with Alaric shook the island, her finger gently tracing Afa’s cheek.
Afa’s face flushed red, her dark eyes flashing with a mix of anger and embarrassment as she tried to pull away, but the wall held her in place. "He’s not an alien," she snapped, her voice sharp but wavering. "Master’s name is Alaric. He’s one of the strongest warriors of the Demon Lord, and..." She hesitated, her blush deepening, her eyes darting away. "No... I don’t have any superpowers."
Lyra’s smirk widened, her green eyes softening with mock sympathy as she leaned closer, their faces inches apart. "So, you’re just a normal human, like me," she said, her voice warm but teasing, her finger still holding Afa’s chin. "No fancy aura or magic tricks. Just you."
Afa’s jaw tightened, her arms crossing tighter as she tried to muster her anger, her dark eyes meeting Lyra’s with a forced glare.
"Yeah," she said, her voice low but defiant. "I was just appointed as a spy to keep an eye on Austin and his movements. That’s my job."
Lyra’s eyes sparkled with curiosity, her smirk turning playful as she tilted her head. "Hmm, so you did spend some time with Austin," she said, her voice dropping to a sultry whisper. Her hand moved smoothly, brushing over Afa’s naked thigh, her fingers trailing upward with a featherlight touch that made Afa tense. "Tell me..." Lyra’s hand slid higher, grazing Afa’s bare skin, pausing just below her breasts, tickling softly. "Didn’t you enjoy it with Austin more?"
Afa’s breath hitched, her face turning a deeper shade of red as she turned her head away, her dark curls falling over her shoulder. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"Hmm... what are you saying?" she muttered, her voice shaky, her body trembling slightly under Lyra’s touch.
Lyra laughed softly, her fingers now trailing downward, slipping between Afa’s legs with a teasing brush, feeling the heat there. "I meant this," she said, her voice a sultry purr as her fingers grazed Afa’s folds, slow and deliberate.
"Did you really like it with Alaric the same way you did with Austin?" Her green eyes locked onto Afa’s, her smirk wicked but inviting, her touch lingering just enough to make Afa’s breath catch again.
Afa’s eyes widened, her body tensing as she pressed herself harder against the wall, her voice barely a whisper. "S-stop it," she said, her tone a mix of defiance and fluster, her blush spreading to her neck. "You don’t know what you’re talking about."
