Chapter 58: Elias vs Kaien (2): showcasing strength

"...And yet," Kaien continued, his voice sharpening into a cold mechanical resonance, "you remain unidentified. That makes you... unpredictable." Kaien said leaping off his head standing few meters away from Elias who seemed to be enraged passively with a smile on his face as he stood up dusting his body.

He gently took of the expensive premium clothes on him leaving behind only the trouser exposing his well tones chest, not too bulky but not to be underestimated, he ruffles his hair while brushing his hair backward revealing his golden eyes which radiated killing intent. "I’ll crush you I swear it!"Elias said as his body blurred appearing behind Kaien with a single blow the current defence of the android was not to be overlooked, Nano-carbon armor, layered ZPE shields, impact-dampening cores.

However at the face of Elias’s fury the shell of the Android broke like glass sending it crashing through the synthetic walls of the constructed plane, before Kaien could get back on his feet, Elias was already in front of him pummelling him into the ground a roundhouse kick powered by primordial energy.

Elias stretched his hands towards the Android that was now Embedded into the ground as a bright golden energy blast appeared in front of his palms, swirling like a cosmic blast, the heat it gave off caused the synthetic realm to shake and crumble, without hesitation he shot the blast towards the Android which as it moved the space around it began to shatter like glass.

Kaien was surprised at the sight in front of him, but thanks to his Quantum Processor combat Engine he had activated the situation was under control. However his body already started to melt before the blast was even fired, the android whose defense could withstand up to five hundred thousand degree Celsius yet his body was already giving in.

[Cosmic energy approaching at high speed, brace for impact in five seconds. Force, heat and pressure comparable to the explosion of a supernova, having direct contact will instantly obliterate you, attack potency capable of destroying an entire country or half a continent at most]

The cosmic energy exploded upon contact with the ground instantly obliterating the entire space and synthetic plane, which was supposed to able to withstand almost any attack. However due to the nature of the attack the hallway of the real-world remained just fine as if the entire battle had existed in a virtual world Even Elias was surprised to see that his clothes had appeared back on his body as if he had never pulled it.

"Could everything had been an illusion?"Elias asked as his clothes were undamaged however his jaw hurt from the crash not to mention he was physically exhausted. Just as he scanned the environment he saw Kaien standing behind him unfazed solidifying his idea that it was an illusion if not there would have been no way he’d have still been alive after taking the full brunt of his attack which had the power of ten exploding suns.

"I’m afraid nothing was an illusion, it’s a virtual realm I created, anything that happens in the synthetic realm doesn’t affect real world also the time rate is different depending on network. simply put I transfered our consciousness into an artificial world, if any of us had died we would also be dead in real life!"Kaien said calmly as he he watched Elias with a calculated face.

"Then why are you——still alive?" However Before Elias could complete his words the entire scenery shifted to another virtual world unlike the former this one seemed more solid, they were outside this time surrounded by a vast expanse of greenery and mountains.

"Do you still plan on assessing me?" Elias asked seemingly confused, he had noticed that though out the battle Kaien fought without the intent to kill and only to evaluate him and learn more about his source of power, there’s now way he could continue to fight after knowing his opponeent isn’t fighting to kill him.

"My Evaluation is still not complete, I’ve detected that after your last attack you had significantly exhausted yourself however you’ve not quite reached your limit. Your current threat level is Rank 6: Tectonic Large country level and I still have a survival rate if 20% The only way for my evaluation to complete is if I confirm your max threat level or my survival rate reach 0%" Kaien said calmly and composed as his body began to him, his Quantum Processor combat Engine reactivating.

"I see! however I’ll only continue the fight if you tell me how you were able to survive the attack, according to you if any one of us dies here we die in real life too, so how come you didn’t?" Elias asked as he wanted to be sure if what had transpired when he fired one if his strongest signature move.

"There are several factors that enabled me to escape unharmed. It’s all thanks to the features I posses as the Model variant-X99, the Synthetic Apex. As my creators final and also one of his strongest creation, he gave me several features before he transcended humanity.

The first and my greatest is the Quantum Processor Combat Engine.

With it i predict attacks using a quantum-calculation engine, allowing combat foresight up to several seconds into the future.

Combined with superhuman reflexes and adaptive response, i can counter or dodge almost any attack after a brief data-gathering phase.

It’s like having an Ultra or perfect super, flawless Instinct powered by machine learning.

The second is my Data Assimilation & Ability Replication

I can analyze and mimic abilities of enemies I fights—though only temporarily or at partial efficiency.

I use nanite-level learning modules to recreate effects like elemental attacks, energy waves, and even minor psychic feats.

I however cannot replicate Primordial Energy, it’s data is still too small, but I can simulate its effects with artificial constructs (a plot point of hubris?), with that I was able to increase and redirect the flow of gravity, wind pressure and the momentum of the blast slowing by 0.086 seconds giving me enough time for my next phase of escape.

My Synthetic Chrono-Core like a Time Layer Manipulation.

I Possess a chrono-core reactor allowing:

Micro-time dilation (perceived speed-ups)

Localized time loops for analysis and adaptation

Virtual time pause for only one second

Instantaneous system resets in battle; like a "rewind" on a hardware level

Limited by cooldown and processing heat. All these factors put together I can survive anything I’m faced against, now shall we begin.

Elias himself had long lost track of what he was talking about, his mind still stuck on the part where he said his master transcended humanity, Is it similar to what he needed, was it simply the real translation of Purgatory?

"What do you mean about transcendence? you said your creator transcended humanity, how was he able to?" Elias asked with a hint if seriousness and urgency in his tone.

Meanwhile Kaien only looked at him with a neutral calculated expression, from what he deducted that word had triggered something emotional towards Elias, perhaps with it he can push him into fighting with his full power.

"We’ll talk after our fight!" Kaien simply stated causing a frown to appear on Elias face before he gradually eased himself a bit. It seems this robot wants to get beat up that badly, he’ll just have to generously fulfill it’s wish like a Genie.

"I see, however I’ll warn you, if you don’t want to die accidentally I’d suggest you stop holding back!" Elias said as he knew the robot was only fighting him at half power, not that he could tell the android actually said some bull shit like. ’Removing limiter: 50%’ which means he must be fighting at half power which is commendable for a pile of junk metal.

"That’s for me to decide! I plan to properly analyze you and for that I have to think at every turn" Kaien’s cold calculated voice rang through the vast plains while only silence followed.

Elias rolled his neck slowly, a faint click in the bones giving punctuation to his silence. His eyes glinted with latent interest, not arrogance. The kind of focus one gave to a puzzle that was finally becoming interesting.

"You’re thinking too hard," he said flatly. "But I’ll play along. Let’s see what that body of yours can really do."

Kaien’s artificial irises contracted. Combaing, Elias twisted inside the choke and headbutted Kaien hard enough to make his sensors buzz.

Kaien was forced back. He rolled across the synthetic grass and recovered into a crouch.

Elias was catching his breath not noticeable but he was feeling exhausted a bit since Kaine refused to fight at full power then he himself would fight without primordial energy which made up more than ninety percent of his strength. So currently fighting at this level was bound to tire him, with his chest subtly rising and falling.
