When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 1021: A Beautiful and Exciting Night
If you don’t have feelings for someone, hugging and kissing them is truly a kind of hardship.
But Faye Turner clearly knew she was his wife and had even given him a daughter; they must have been very close once.
She tried hard to recall, but was met with a splitting headache, suddenly holding her head in her hands, her heart filled with conflict, complexity, and even a bit of collapse.
"Faye!" Adrian Lancaster called her name anxiously and nervously, "What’s wrong? Do you feel unwell?"
Faye tried to gather her thoughts and shook her head.
Adrian Lancaster held her arm, pulling her into his embrace, bending slightly to gently rest his chin amid her smooth hair.
He didn’t want to entangle her too much, nor did he want to make her feel scared.
"See you tomorrow." So, Adrian Lancaster spoke softly, letting her go, his heart truly overflowing with love for her.
As if he had found a treasure, he gazed at her longingly, slowly stepping back two steps, his eyes full of burning passion and deep affection.
He vowed to protect her well in the future, ruthlessly eliminating all dangers around her.
"Good night, sleep early." Having said that, he turned and left.
Watching the man’s back, Faye stood at the door, holding onto the door frame until his figure disappeared; she still hadn’t come back to her senses.
On the way home, Adrian Lancaster drove alone in a Lamborghini, with the bright moonlight pouring over the car body.
He kept pondering a question, "How can I make Faye feel secure?"
It felt like she became cautious when interacting with him.
On the way back, Adrian Lancaster was still very happy, resting one hand on the car window, playing some music in the car, his handsome face occasionally displaying a smile.
Tomorrow, he’d come to pick up Faye and bring her home.
Thinking about this made him incredibly happy.
Faye’s birth parents were found, and next, it was time to prepare her a grand wedding, inviting both sets of parents to attend.
It had to be magnificent, unforgettable for her for a lifetime.
Loving someone means always wanting to give her the best, even if it costs everything.
That night, Faye couldn’t sleep.
Tossing and turning in bed, disturbed by that kiss Adrian Lancaster gave her on stage, as she recalled the details, her heart was already heating up.
How could she have a flash marriage with him? The idea of a flash marriage was simply too absurd.
The reason for their marriage was not disclosed online at all, the information seemed completely suppressed.
The same night in Argent.
The bright moon shone onto the Lockwood Old Manor, a few cars were parked in the yard, people carrying items in and out.
"Sir, please check the receipts, the purchases were made according to it, no issues."
"Okay, let me have a look."
Caleb Lancaster, Eliza Vance, and the butler were helping with the inspection, the living room filled with dozens of exquisite gift bags, of various sizes.
All of these were the engagement gifts to be taken to the Xavier Family tomorrow.
Each bag contained different gifts, not only exquisite but also rare and valuable, acquired at great expense.
For The Lancasters, tomorrow was a day worth looking forward to, as their daughter-in-law was coming home!
"I really never imagined Faye was the daughter of the Xavier Family in Jadepoint." Caleb Lancaster still found the miraculous connection hard to believe.
Eliza Vance thought of the past, of what she had done to her; although Faye forgave her, she still felt extremely sorry.
She vowed to treat her well in the future, to love her like a daughter.
On the same night, in the apartment Adrian Lancaster bought for Teacher Gable, the lights were blazing.
Milo Turner also prepared a new set of clothes, asking joyfully, "Mom, how about I wear this tomorrow?"
