When the Wind is Sweet: The Fairy Tale of Mr. and Mrs. Lancaster-Chapter 1032: Deliberate Showing Off
Adrian Lancaster glanced at her with great pride and said, "Of course, not only can I cook, but I cook very well. All of our daughter’s baby food was made by me, which is why she’s grown up so fair-skinned, chubby, and adorable."
When he mentioned their daughter, the smile on his face grew warmer and more kind-hearted.
"So, what do you have at home?" Faye Turner asked while picking things.
"Nothing, it’s empty," Adrian Lancaster replied. "We need to buy all the seasonings." Just like last time, he was helping her restore her memories, creating together a home filled with the warmth of everyday life.
To retrace the path they once walked together.
"I want to eat mushrooms, they look quite fresh," Faye Turner said, placing two in the shopping cart.
"Tomorrow, I’ll take you to the market. This supermarket doesn’t have much, but whether morning or evening, the ingredients are pretty fresh." Seeing several elderly women choosing corn, he asked her, "Still like corn?"
"Sure." Although she had amnesia, her taste hadn’t changed.
So Adrian Lancaster led her forward, dressed in his expensive tailor-made suit, blending into the crowd selecting corn.
Faye Turner grabbed a bag, and he put the peeled corn inside.
Two journalists sneaked in, hiding not far away to capture shots of the two, an ordinary scene, full of warmth.
They strolled around the supermarket, bought some common household meals, chicken, fish, and even added dumpling wrappers, selecting seasonings as well.
It felt like newlyweds sharing a life together.
Before long, the shopping cart was full.
He asked, "Anything else needed?"
"No, that’s probably it."
"Alright."
Then President Lancaster pushed the shopping cart to checkout, with Faye Turner quietly following by his side.
While queuing, she inadvertently turned her gaze and saw the journalists hiding behind the shelves with cameras.
Faye Turner’s heart fluttered, she tugged his sleeve, softly reminding, "Journalists are taking photos."
Adrian Lancaster looked over, and when he saw the journalists, they were caught off guard, standing frozen, feeling uneasy.
However, he wasn’t angry; right in the line to pay, he hugged Faye Turner around the shoulders and boldly kissed her forehead!
If they want to take photos, let them take as many as they want!
The journalists snapped to it, quickly raising the camera with a click.
Adrian Lancaster’s kiss left Faye Turner shocked and bewildered, within those three to four seconds, who knows how many pictures they took!
"Oh my God, isn’t this just too sweet?"
"This is definitely falling in love with the same person twice! How does it matter that appearances change? It can’t stop me from loving you."
This couple truly makes others envious!
Before Faye Turner could push him away, Adrian Lancaster voluntarily let go, seeing his wife’s flushed cheeks, his heart melted once again.
Why is she so easily shy? That blushing little face made him want to kiss her again!
On the way home, Adrian Lancaster carried the bags in both hands, with Faye Turner by his side, "Shall I help carry one?" She had a hint of wanting to share the load.
"No need." He looked at her happily, "Watch your step, I’m not holding you, don’t fall."
The pride in his smile, how dazzling it must be? Faye Turner gave a slight smile, withdrawing her gaze, obediently following by his side.
Once inside the community, as she was contemplating, she finally spoke up, "Adrian, I want to discuss something with you."
"Please, Madam," he said in high spirits, "I’m all ears."
She straightforwardly remarked, with some seriousness, "Can you not do that in public places from now on?"
Adrian Lancaster glanced at her, "Do what?" feigning ignorance.
Faye Turner furrowed her brows slightly, "You...you know full well!"
"You mean, no kissing you in public?" Adrian Lancaster asked, his voice extremely gentle, of course not wanting to see her upset.
She didn’t reply, just followed by his side, entering the elevator together.
Adrian Lancaster realized that his wife cared deeply about this matter, possibly thinking him frivolous.
Thus, he agreed with her, "As you command, my dear wife."
