Chapter 1050: Chapter 1050: Children Are the Bond

She leaned against the back of the chair, quietly watching him, "..." In the man’s deep eyes, she saw a brand new sense of being moved.

The car drove steadily forward, with a smile on Mr. Kerr’s face.

Adrian Lancaster kissed her fingers like a gentleman, then released her; though his words could be a bit slick, his actions were quite restrained.

After a short while, the car began to slow down and stopped on the lush green lawn of The Lancaster Family’s grand villa.

Mrs. Rhodes stayed here with Joy, quiet and comfortable.

There were children’s rooms and a play area, along with some open-air slides in the yard.

After getting out of the car, Faye Turner immediately spotted a small playground at the corner of the yard, with a carousel and swings, crawling mats, and rocking beds.

She couldn’t help but be surprised, turning her gaze to him, "The child is not even a year old, can’t even walk steadily, and you’ve already arranged all this?"

Adrian Lancaster, hands in pockets, replied with pride and anticipation, "She’ll grow up, you know. By the time she’s two, she can play. Besides, these things are colorful; Joy is happy every time she sees them. She knows this is her territory!"

Truly a blessed little princess.

Faye Turner felt a bit envious of her daughter’s childhood, being born so fortunate, a little princess adored by everyone.

As she was feeling moved, Adrian Lancaster gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "Let’s go, I’ll show you our former home."

Walking with him, they could see all kinds of colorful climbing flowers around them, names unknown, but the fragrance was wonderful.

A modern-style villa appeared before their eyes, occupying a vast amount of land in this expensive area; romantic yet solemn. In her memory, it was Faye Turner’s first time here.

Even the air carried the scent of money.

The entire wall of floor-to-ceiling windows sparkled brilliantly under the sunset, looking beautiful.

As they moved closer, she also saw fountains, an outdoor swimming pool, and stone sculptures...

Just as they stepped into the living room, the servants greeted them respectfully, "Welcome, Sir, Ma’am!" The staff looked energetic, adorned in uniform attire, giving off a very orderly feeling.

At this moment, Mrs. Rhodes came out holding Joy, "Sir, Ma’am." She had a joyful smile on her face.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy..." The little cutie in the princess dress reached out towards Adrian Lancaster at the sight of him, kicking her little legs, her whole body leaning in his direction.

Mrs. Rhodes could barely hold onto her.

Adrian Lancaster hurriedly ran over, "Come, come, baby! Daddy’s here!" and took the child from Mrs. Rhodes.

When Faye Turner saw her daughter, her heart softened and melted.

Joy was truly beautiful, belonging to that kind of extremely high-value child.

The kitchen was already bustling, as Adrian Lancaster had informed the steward earlier that he’d be bringing Faye back tonight.

The steward prepared a menu and arranged for meals to be made.

"Mommy, mommy, mommy..." Just as she reached her father’s embrace, upon seeing Faye Turner, Joy’s little legs began kicking again, her body leaning towards her mother.

Faye Turner just looked at her, a smile spreading across her face, reaching her hands towards the child. Seeing her daughter felt like seeing the whole world.

Adrian Lancaster handed the daughter over, and Faye affectionately kissed her daughter’s forehead, then took the child into her arms.

"Sweetheart." She tugged at Joy’s little hand, with a thousand words unspoken, unsure how to start.

Wanting to give her all the love in the world, yet unable to recall the feelings from when she carried her for ten months.

Adrian Lancaster wrapped his arm around his wife’s shoulder, guiding her and their daughter to the sofa, "Be careful." Fearing she would get tired from holding the child while standing.

Wearing a princess dress, Joy happily sat on her mother’s lap, her eyes like black diamonds darting around, as her mother played with her tiny hands.

"Sweetheart, have you been behaving well?"

Adrian Lancaster asked, "Have you missed mommy?"

The child occasionally called out for daddy, then for mommy, filling the house with warmth.

She wasn’t even a year old, and her calls were unconscious; but in this babbling stage, her little mouth just wouldn’t stop.

As Faye Turner interacted with the child, she noticed a few parenting books on the coffee table, their covers a bit worn, along with some educational black and white cards.

For this daughter, Adrian Lancaster must have put in a lot of effort.

Even in the past few months without her mother’s company, Joy had grown so well... Faye Turner’s heart was filled with gratitude for this man.
