"What now, it seems like there's nothing left here, should we head out?"

Fingerley surveyed the surroundings.

The vast area of tumultuous magma is currently inaccessible, and the seal remains unsolvable for now. Even if it were to be successfully resolved, only the Fire Element Creatures can traverse the magma, and it's uncertain what Sain's magma is composed of. What if it can even harm Fire Element Creatures? That would be disastrous.

The small space they currently occupy holds only a bell, besides which are webs and even more mysterious cocoons scattered across the ground.

Speaking of which, are these supposed to be cocoons or eggs? They don't seem capable of hatching into living creatures; inside there's only foul pus, and the pus even contains poison.

"Then let's go out."

Luluwo's voice came from beside them, and unbelievably, she had already adjusted her emotions.

"Let's go to Sain Ancient City, we have to go now, we must find a way home, hehehe..." She let out a laugh that carried a hint of darkness.

Fingerley retracted his previous statement, this woman didn't seem to have adjusted her emotions and appeared even more unstable.

So terrifying...

Seeing that there was nothing left here, the group turned to leave, planning to see if any changes would occur in Sain Dungeon after ringing the two bells; after all, ringing the bell seemed to be a rather important node.

But just then, Luluwo suddenly halted and said, "Wait, there's another sound."

"Sound?"

No one else heard anything unusual, but Luluwo pointed to her ear and said, "I have bat Beastman blood, my hearing is naturally better than yours."

Saying this, she listened intently while searching for the so-called unfamiliar sound, eventually stopping in front of a wall filled with cocoons.

If you look closely, you really can notice a slight sense of discord, because the cocoons piled up here are particularly abundant, yet the central position is exceptionally clean.

The group instantly thought of a hidden door.

Luluwo delivered a punch on it, and the seemingly solid wall instantly became more and more illusionary until disappearing, revealing a new passage ahead.

Judging by the width of this passage, it can just barely accommodate the Chaos Witch walking back and forth.

"I knew there would be another path here." Luluwo revealed a satisfied expression, and those who understood how to read the air immediately cheered for her, giving enough emotional value.

"Hidden things are always good things. Come, let's make our adventure's harvest richer!"

Luluwo waved her hand grandly and boldly stepped into the passage.

Fingerley shrugged his shoulders and followed her inside.

"Why does it feel a bit itchy?"

He suddenly scratched his head, feeling an inexplicable itchiness in his brain.

Maybe it's because the toxins in the liquid splashed from the cocoons affected him, he should quickly get some treatment when he gets back.

After all, one can catch quite a few strange diseases inside a dungeon.

Unbeknownst to him, Tami and others were scratching their heads as well, their actions eerily synchronized.

As they continued down this tunnel, the webs and cocoons became increasingly abundant, even affecting their movement.

And suddenly, "living things" finally appeared.

"What is this, so disgusting..."

A pile of grotesque fleshy masses made up of one cocoon after another blocked the path, looking like nothing but twisted flesh.

However, upon closer examination, they realized that beneath the cocoons were scrawny people!

They carried cocoons on their backs, integrated with their bodies, and the weight of the flesh fully crushed them, forcing them to crawl on the ground!

"I don't want to deal with these disgusting guys..."

Luluwo grumbled, fearing to dirty her chains if she lashed out at these creatures.

"Not that I want to." Fingerley was also reluctant to draw his sword.

Even upon hearing their unabashed voices, the Egg Carriers showed no reaction.

They merely uniformly faced deeper down the tunnel, placing their hands forward in a gesture of worship.

"Are they worshiping something?"

The peculiar behavior of these Egg Carriers immediately piqued their curiosity, and Fingerley boldly approached to take a closer look. Sure enough, these guys wouldn't attack, but rather focus on their prayers.

There must be something peculiar up ahead!

With this thought, he quickened his pace to the tunnel's exit, where an Egg Carrier with an extra amount of cocoons blocked the path, about to push through when he suddenly heard a piercing voice from below.

"Who are you?"

This startled him, realizing these creatures do more than worship, they actually speak?

He looked down to see a gaunt face glaring at him with an unfriendly expression, yet with no sign of hostility.

Fingerley signaled the group behind him not to make any extra moves, letting him handle the situation.

But before he could say anything, the Egg Carrier said:

"Are you the new servants? Why are you only arriving now."

Servants?

With only a moment of hesitation, Fingerley quickly nodded "Yes, yes, we're the newcomers."

"New ones, huh, then you are permitted to meet the young lady."

Saying this, the Egg Carrier moved its body aside, opening up the path.

So accommodating? Fingerley was taken aback.

This doesn't make sense, why would he easily let me through? Isn't Sain Dungeon supposed to be like this! They should've given me riddles before having me run three hundred sixty-five miles to collect something and return to gain passage! This doesn't follow the usual pattern!

"Haha, not even carrying an egg, indeed newcomers are shallow." The Egg Carrier's tone carried a hint of sarcasm, and following this remark, it fell silent.

I take back my previous statement, this guy's mouth is very biting.

Fingerley rolled his eyes, without saying more, lifted his leg out of the cave, to finally see what was hidden inside.

With merely a glance, he widened his eyes, involuntarily letting out a "Whoa," gesturing the others to come have a look.

The way he did this was just like seeing some rare Monster, but it successfully piqued everyone's curiosity, prompting them to hurry over.

Upon seeing the scene, the others also expressed shock.

The tunnel's end was a fairly small space, covered in webs, and the cocoons known as eggs by the Egg Carriers were extremely numerous.

But none of these were the main focus, rather it's what resided amid those eggs.

It was a severely damaged White Spider!

Upon the massive spider, an adorable young girl was tightly shutting her eyes, wearing a pained expression!

"The materials gathered today are enough to forge better equipment."

Leon dragged a bag of Forging Stones dropped by the Giant Guards, accompanied by his companions.

"Boss, are we really going to Scameroon? I've heard there's a war going on there." Maru's tone still reminiscent of an Elu cat.

Leon nodded, the thought firm.

Though unsure of circumstances, he discovered his sister is in Scameroon, and has even risen to partake in the Holy Light Festival.

He must go and scrutinize this situation, it's astonishing.

Of course, finding his sister is merely secondary; the primary reason is, he heard that Sain Dungeon opened a branch in Scameroon, with a band of loyal adventurers headed toward Sain.

"Such an event, how can we not join in on the fun?"

Leon said with a smile.

They passed by a bonfire, not speaking with the Brass Woman nearby, aiming for a safe zone not far from the bonfire to rest, killing time until leaving the Painting World.

Just as they were leaving, the bonfire suddenly flickered, manifesting a painting preserved within a frame.

The painting gleamed with mysterious flowing light.

[Painting World "Sain Ancient City"]

Luluwo's speculation was somewhat accurate, because after they rung the two bells, a Teleportation Gate appeared. Ringing the bell indeed triggers teleportation.

However, it wasn't a path guiding her home, but rather enticing adventurers away from home.

The direction of the Teleportation Gate was completely opposite to her predictions.
