Wizard: Adventures in Two Worlds-Chapter 589: Flame Heart
With a face full of whiskers, Jeff kicked away the stool on the ground and stared silently at the lifeless corpse on the floor.
The leader of the Green Dog Brothers died with an expression of excitement, the training whip still tightly held in his palm.
The second one had a ferocious face, eyes wide open, muscles in a state of excitement even after his death.
"The murder weapon was a sharp sword, with traces of Fire Magic."
A middle-aged man in a white Wizard Robe checked the corpse on the ground, shook his head as he stood up:
"The person who acted is quite skilled, clean and efficient in killing without leaving many clues."
"Fire Magic?" Jeff’s eyes narrowed:
"Could it be Lynn?"
"Lynn?" The man was first surprised, seemed to recall who the name referred to, then shook his head and said:
"He’s just a Basic Wizard Apprentice, how could he possibly kill the Green Dog Brothers? Moreover, this wound is likely caused by an Enchanted Knight Sword, not necessarily by someone practicing Fire Magic."
Jeff nodded slowly.
It’s no wonder he thought so; he had just recently ordered the Green Dog Brothers to deal with Lynn, and now they both met their demise.
Definitely suspicious.
"In my opinion..." The man stroked his chin, deep in thought:
"The person responsible is likely a Legendary Knight with some knowledge of witchcraft, or an Advanced Wizard Apprentice."
"Oh!" Jeff’s expression changed slightly:
"Why?"
"The person first killed the elder brother and then the younger one, obviously not wanting them to join forces," the man said:
"To kill the elder brother was a sneak attack, something any experienced assassin could do, but killing the younger one was a frontal assault."
"The second Green Dog Brother is a Great Knight; being able to kill him without leaving clues shows the skill of the murderer."
"Look!"
He pointed his hand outside the house:
"The Green Dog Brothers’ residence was set up with several Witchcraft Traps, yet not one was triggered by the murderer, still intact and undamaged..."
"This person is very strong!"
Jeff’s face turned serious.
The Green Dog Brothers, one an Intermediate Wizard Apprentice and the other a Great Knight, although they were Wild Wizards not highly regarded by academy graduates like him, they were not weak. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have recruited them.
And then,
These two suddenly died.
’Is the murderer targeting me? If so, I must be cautious of such a formidable assassin.’
"Senior."
Jeff thought for a moment, then asked in a low voice:
"Should we notify the academy’s inspection team?"
"No need!" The man rolled his eyes:
"They were just two Wild Wizards, living in the slums. No one cares whether they live or die."
"By the way..."
"Why did you suspect Lynn as the murderer?"
"Well..." Jeff awkwardly smiled:
"The Green Dog Brothers had some conflicts with him."
"I think you have conflicts with him," the man smiled, shook his head, pointed at Jeff and said:
"A little apprentice eliminated from academic assessments, there’s no need for Angus Senior to bother."
"Yes, yes." Jeff nodded repeatedly:
"I just wanted to save Angus Senior some trouble; fly shit is harmless but still disgusting."
"Suit yourself." The man shook his head:
"Don’t cause a big fuss, or it won’t look good for Senior."
"Don’t worry." Jeff quickly said:
"I’ll make sure not to trouble Senior."

Twenty-seven Magic Stones!
After counting the spoils from the recent operation, Lynn couldn’t help rubbing his hands, expressing his thoughts:
"Without windfall wealth, one cannot prosper. Without night grasps, horses do not fatten – this saying doesn’t deceive me!"
Besides the Magic Stones, there were also a Demonized item, a Magic Wand, and several books related to wizards.
Naturally.
For the time being, the Demonized item and Magic Wand were inconvenient to sell and had to be stored away.
Indeed, to avoid being targeted, Lynn went to great lengths to bury them in a secret location.
"Ultimately, I’m too weak; killing two unworthy apprentices and a Great Knight was quite thrilling."
Reviewing the operation, he shook his head lightly:
"And I don’t have the main body’s capability of Soul Search, so I don’t know who the real mastermind is."
"The trouble has not been truly resolved."
"Strength..."
He thought for a moment, lightly tapped his temple:
"I need to learn another witchcraft. Although this operation went without issue, in fact, it was somewhat dangerous."
With his current strength, it’s very difficult to directly kill the Green Dog Brothers; this time it was a tactical assassination.
The reason for success was the terrifying combat experience from the main body.
Otherwise,
A slight issue could lead to mission failure.
Closing his eyes, certain stored memories deep in the sea of consciousness were activated, quickly flipping through his mind.
The main body ’Carl’ killed countless, plundering their memories and souls, accumulating untold witchcraft.
Yet, with Lynn’s current spiritual power, only a portion can be unsealed.
Fortunately, the main body is supportive, comprehending his thoughts, directly pulling out Fire Magic from Zero Ring Magic.
A moment later.
"Flame Heart!"
Lynn’s eyes opened, his face filled with excitement:
"This one will do."
Flame Heart was created by the main body itself, an advancing witchcraft that apprentices can begin to practice.
This witchcraft combines Bloodline Magic, Natural School, and Mysticism, a true masterpiece.
Once cultivated,
It allows refinement of exotic flames into the body.
Thus, it equates to a special bloodline transformation, granting the ability to control flames.
Moreover, future practice of Fire Magic and Meditation Methods will be enhanced, further increasing the power of Fire Magic.
"First..."
"Choose a flame."
Lynn squinted his eyes:
"The tier shouldn’t be too high, otherwise my body can’t handle it, nor too low, as it wouldn’t be effective."
"Hmm?"
He turned to look at the Magic Fire under the cauldron.
Sea Heart Demon Flame!
A flame born from the deep sea, extremely gentle, with certain auxiliary effects for Refine Potions.
Similarly,
It sometimes turns wild, capable of withstanding Advanced Wizard Apprentice’s Water Magic without extinguishing.
"It’s perfect!"
......
Time slowly passed, and in the blink of an eye, a month had gone by.
The deaths of Danell and the Green Dog Brothers were like a splash beneath a monstrous wave, once passed, no one remembered.
Only Susan, Isaiah, and others occasionally mentioned ’missing’ Danell.
Yet, for apprentices from the academy, ’disappearance’ is common, and few cared.
"Little Lynn."
Madam Mandy leaned her elbows on the counter, her hands supporting her chin, her eyes seemed to harbor a pool of water:
"Not coming for so long, it seems you’ve found other buyers, despite my affection for you."
"Sister Mandy is joking." Lynn smiled shyly:
"I’ve been busy trying to Refine Silence Potion during this time, so I haven’t been able to come."
"Silence Potion?" Mandy was surprised:
"You really want to Refine this Potion?"
Although the profit of Silence Potion is higher than Calming Potion, the difficulty in Refining it is another level.
Lynn, being a recent academy graduate, seemed talented refining Calming Potion for profit, but Silence Potion was too challenging.
"Yes."
Lynn nodded, taking out a Potion from his person:
"I luckily crafted one, please have a look, Sister Mandy."
Hmm?
Mandy paused, hesitantly took the Potion, a flash of light touched her hand, revealing the Potion’s composition.
"It’s actually real?"
"Although the quality is low, it’s indeed a completed product."
Mandy rubbed the Potion in her hand, looking at Lynn with a complex gaze:
"Little Lynn, I truly misjudged you. While your witchcraft talent is average, your talent for Refining Potions is unparalleled."
"That’s good." Lynn feigned a sigh of relief:
"Please exchange it for materials to Refine Silence Potion, this Potion was crafted at a loss."
"Understandable." Mandy turned to gather materials, saying:
"Unless supported by a Wizard Family or Wizard Organization, any Pharmacist starts profits from losses when Refining new Potions."
"But since you have this ability..."
"Success is inevitable!"
After chatting a bit more, Lynn took the materials and departed; watching his back, Mandy took out a piece of Magic Paper.
Writing a few lines, she lightly chuckled and shook her head.
"A genius Pharmacist, many organizations would open their doors for you if you have enough strength."
