Wizard World Irregular-Chapter 1119: Ensuring That Their Legacy Would Pass On [Part 2]
Illumina, Nicole, Princess Ramona, and Joanne immediately congratulated Ethan, which the latter accepted with great thanks.
A moment later, the sound of a tolling bell reverberated in the city, informing everyone who had waited for this moment that the two Princes of Atlantis had finally been born.
Cheers rang out as the Protector Clans, as well as the members of the Ocean Races, celebrated the birth of Ethan's children.
Lleu and Balthazar, who were guarding outside the palace grounds, glanced at each other with smiles on their faces.
With this, the lineage of the Valentin Family would continue to the next generation, ensuring that their legacy would pass on.
What they didn't know was that Ashmedai was also in the city, making sure that no unforeseen elements would endanger the birth of the scions of the Valentin Family.
He was their Patron Deity, so it was perfectly normal for him to ensure that Lily and her children would not fall prey to any danger on his watch.
As everyone celebrated, the Progenitor of Magic and Leviathan made a toast with each other.
"Old man, you have me to thank for this occasion," Lady Hecate said. "If not for me, you wouldn't have been able to see the birth of these two Princes of Atlantis."
"Didn't you do this because you had a grudge against Ethan?" Leviathan rolled his eyes. "Don't make it sound like you did this with good intentions in mind."
"Hahaha, don't sweat the small stuff." Lady Hecate expertly side-stepped the issue.
"It doesn't change the fact that if not for me, you would have had to wait for two to four years more before you could fulfill the vow that you gave to Celestia and Arariel. I'm sure those two will be happy after learning about this news."
Leviathan didn't reply, but the corners of his lips rose a bit. Hundreds of years had passed, but the promise that he had made was still fresh in his memory.
He was quite happy that Illumina was one of Ethan's lovers.
Since she was a member of the Ocean Races, her children would become the perfect rulers of Atlantis and ensure its prosperity for many years.
But he kept this thought inside his head and glanced at the beautiful lady in front of him, then asked her a question.
"Have you still not found where Llyr is?" Leviathan asked, changing the subject.
"No," Lady Hecate replied. "But I can tell you with certainty that he is no longer in Midgard."
Llyr was the name of the original Tidebringer and also Lady Catherine's father.
In short, he was Ethan's grandfather on his mother's side of the family.
Arariel and Queen Celestia had used their powers to protect and shield his identity.
Because of this, only a handful of trusted friends knew that the Tidebringer was actually the child between the Colossi who once tried to drown the entirety of the Shire Continent and the Progenitor who governed the sea alongside Leviathan.
Arariel was said to have disappeared while looking for his son, but he kept his Will in Midgard to protect Lady Catherine and her sister, Cliodhna, who were Lleu's and Vincent's wives.
The two Progenitors then glanced at the projection beside them, which showed Ethan holding two babies in his hands as if they were precious vases that could break at any moment.
This made those who saw this scene look at the young man with a smile because they could tell how nervous he was.
The terror of the battlefield, which even Progenitors feared, felt as if he was fighting the greatest battle of his life as he made sure to not hurt his kids, who looked and felt so frail in his hands.
"They look a little wrinkly," Joanne commented. "Are babies really like this when they are born?"
Lady Catherine giggled as she hugged her daughter from behind. "You looked wrinklier when you were born. But they will only stay that way for a short time.
"Once their bodies get used to the outside world, their skin would become smooth like the babies that you have seen in the past. Don't you want to hold them?"
"I'll pass for now," Joanne replied. "I might squish them by accident."
This earned another giggle from Lady Catherine, but she no longer insisted that her daughter hold her nephews.
"Thank you, Lily," Ethan said, his voice almost breaking as he looked at his tired wife, who had given birth to their sons. "I love you very much."
"I love you too," Lily replied.
She was indeed feeling very tired, but she was also very happy.
Her gaze lovingly fell on her two babies, who were both in her husband's care.
"Should we give them the names that we both decided on?" Lily asked.
"Yes," Ethan answered. "The eldest will be called Zach, and the youngest will be called Zayne. But… which one is Zach, and which one is Zayne?"
Despite feeling exhausted, Lily couldn't help but giggle after hearing her husband's question.
Samantha and Princess Ariel glanced at each other before pointing at one of the babies.
"If your eldest's name is Zach, then he is Zach," Princess Ariel said as she pointed to the baby being cradled by Ethan's left arm.
"This one is Zayne," Samantha pointed at the baby that was being cradled by Ethan's right arm.
"I see." Ethan nodded. "But is there some kind of clue for how we can know who is who?"
"Maybe once they're no longer wrinkly, you can look for birthmarks to differentiate the two of them," Samantha answered with a smile before holding Lily's hand, and lightly tapping it with her wand.
A soft green light started to emit at the top of Samantha's wand.
Clearly, she was using her magic to help Lily recover faster.
"Everyone should leave the room for now," Princess Ariel said. "The mother and her children need to rest."
Everyone nodded in understanding and left the room one by one.
The last one to leave was Ethan. But before he left, he planted a kiss on Lily's forehead and once again thanked her for loving him.
Samantha, Princess Ariel, and Lady Catherine, who were left inside the room, took care of Lily as well as the newborn babies.
Somewhere in the castle, two adorable twin girls were looking for an opportunity to see their future husbands.
The twins knew when to advance and when to retreat.
Because of their uncanny ability to detect danger, as well as escape it, they were able to move unhindered across the realms during their short expeditions away from home.
However, since the security in the Royal Palace was strict, the two wondered what they should do next.
"Should we just come back after a week?" Maple asked her sister, Cinnamon.
"Cinnamon thinks that waiting for a week is good." Cinnamon nodded. "We can also bring gifts when we come back."
"Okay, let's go back for now. Let's ask Mama Ella to give us some of her milk for Zach and Zayne."
"That's a good idea!" Cinnamon clapped her hands. "Let's go ask her!"

The two then opened a portal and snuck out quietly towards the Celestial Realm.
But, before they could head to their destination, their Grandfather, James, found them and brought them back to their own world, where their worried mother was waiting for their return.
