{Chapter: 225 Goddess}
Monaco – Paris Hotel
"What?! What did you just say? You're going to participate in the race?" Justin Hammer's voice shot up an octave as he nearly choked on his drink. His outburst echoed through the elegant hotel restaurant, drawing glances from nearly every table.
Realizing his slip, Justin quickly put on a strained smile and waved his hands at the curious onlookers. "It's fine, really! Just a little misunderstanding, everyone—no need to stare," he chuckled awkwardly.
Across from him sat William, disguised in a simple cap and dark sunglasses, blending well with the high-profile crowd. He leaned back in his chair with a calm expression. "Excuse me," he said casually, "Is there some kind of problem?"
Justin leaned in, lowering his voice to a desperate whisper. "Are you trying to kill me? If anyone realizes who you are, my company, my reputation—everything I've built—will be finished!"
William smirked, a glimmer of amusement in his eyes. "Justin, let me remind you. If I wanted to ruin you, I wouldn't need to wait for someone to recognize me. I could crush your company, your image, and your future in a heartbeat. All I asked is for you to pull a few strings and get me into the Grand Prix. With your influence and money, that shouldn't be too difficult. Handle the registration, the car, the team—everything. I'll leave the details to you." He stood up slowly, brushing invisible dust from his sleeve. "And don't disappoint me."
As William turned and walked toward the exit, Justin stared at his back with a bitter expression and mumbled under his breath, "This devil... What cursed life did I live to be tangled with someone like him?"
Just then, the restaurant's atmosphere shifted. The entrance doors opened, and a woman in a radiant red dress walked in. Her appearance was nothing short of breathtaking—poised, elegant, with an aura that demanded attention. Her heels clicked on the polished floor like a rhythm of command, and every head turned to admire her. She was the kind of beauty that made time slow down.
William glanced at her briefly, his eyes narrowing just slightly. A flicker of recognition—or perhaps something darker—flashed across his face. But without missing a beat, he turned his gaze forward and exited the hotel.
The woman in the red dress caught sight of William's figure as he passed. She frowned faintly. There was something oddly familiar about his build, the way he moved. But before she could follow the thought, a waiter arrived to escort her to her table.

Moments Later – Outside the Hotel
A convoy of security vehicles pulled up before the entrance of the Paris Hotel. In the center was a jet-black Rolls-Royce, gleaming under the Monaco sun. Security guards moved with military precision, keeping the press and onlookers at bay.
From the rear door, a heavy-set man emerged, cradling a sleek red box. He adjusted his collar nervously, scanning the area.
Then came the second figure—Tony Stark.
Gone was the confident, flashy billionaire the world adored. His face was pale, eyes sunken, his expression worn and clouded. The weight of recent events hung on his shoulders like a physical burden. He ignored the photographers and the murmured greetings from nearby elites. His focus was somewhere far away.
Watching from a distance, William slid into a deep green supercar, his smirk returning as he glanced at the bound figure in the passenger seat.
"So, Pepper, what did you think of seeing Tony again?"
"Mmmph, mmph!" Pepper Potts glared at him. Her mouth was taped shut, and her wrists were tied tightly in front of her. Fury burned in her eyes.
William chuckled and leaned over to pull the tape from her mouth with a rough tug.
"What do you want to say?"
"Help! Help me!" she screamed, her voice sharp with desperation. But the thick glass of the vehicle and the rumble of the engines drowned out her cries.
William shrugged, unaffected. "It's no use. No one's going to hear you. And even if they did, do you really think they'd dare come after me?"
"You're insane, William. You'll die a miserable death for this," Pepper hissed, her eyes flashing with defiance. frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
He tilted his head, feigning boredom. "You keep saying that. It's starting to lose its effect."
"You think you've won, but you haven't. You'll fail. Maybe not today, but someday, someone will bring you down. And I'll be there when it happens—I'll be the one watching you fall."
William laughed softly, though his tone had a hint of menace. "It's a nice fantasy. But right now, reality says otherwise. You're here, in my car, and entirely under my control."
He reached over and pulled her closer, forcing her to look at him face-to-face. "And you'd better hope Tony doesn't find out how close we are... It might break what's left of him."
Pepper twisted away from his grip, pure hatred in her eyes. "You're a monster."
"Let me go, you let me go." Little Pepper struggled hard.
"Actually, I want Tony to see this scene, I wonder if he will be so angry that he will vomit blood." William said with an evil smile.
"Damn it, you dark-minded pervert, I will never let you go..." Pepper's eyes widened, and her mouth was blocked by William's big mouth.
"Mmm..."
William didn't care whether Pepper was willing or not, and he attacked her unscrupulously, and his two big hands were also touching Pepper's body, dishonestly undressing her upper body.
More than ten minutes passed, and no matter how unwilling Pepper was, her body still responded faithfully, with a blush on her face and her chest rising and falling.
William smiled evilly and said, "Your reaction is really honest, isn't it? You must be in pain, your will and body are in conflict."
"Wi, William, I will definitely make you regret it." Pepper's eyes were filled with hatred.
William tilted his head slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. "Tell me something, Pepper. What do you think Tony Stark would do if I took a picture of you now and sent it? Think he'd explode with rage? Will he be very excited and excited?"
"You wouldn't dare!" Pepper snapped, her voice filled with fury, eyes burning with defiance.
"Relax," William said mockingly, brushing a strand of hair from her face with exaggerated tenderness. "It's just a joke. You think I'd let anyone else look at current you? No, no, no... someone like you, once in my grasp, belongs only to me. To be admired... slowly, carefully."
"What a terrible look, it doesn't matter, it's not up to you to decide whether to be my woman or not, everything is in my hands, my girl." William exhaled in Pepper's ear.
"Don't even think about it," Pepper hissed, her spine straight despite her situation. "I would never belong to a man like you. I would rather die first."
William chuckled softly, but there was a sharp edge to his amusement. He leaned closer, whispering, "You speak of choice, but here? In this moment? That illusion is gone. Everything that happens now is because I decide it."
Her body stiffened at his words, but she didn't back down. "You may control the moment," Pepper said, voice trembling but firm, "but you will never have my heart. That's something no threat can steal."
William simply shrugged, spreading his hands as if her resistance meant nothing. "That doesn't matter to me. Hearts are such fragile, fickle things. I'm more interested in making sure you never forget me."
Pepper clenched her fists tightly. "You really don't care, do you? Why even go through all this? What is it that you want?"
"I didn't need a reason," William replied coolly. "I acted because I felt like it. Simple as that."
"You're insane," she spat, glaring daggers. "You have no idea how much I loathe you."
"Good," he said, smiling as if she'd just confessed admiration. "Hatred is a powerful emotion. It keeps people awake at night, thinking of the one they hate most. And if I can live rent-free in your mind, well... that's enough for me. And I enjoy the feeling of being hated by someone, although they hate it, but they can't do anything about it, just like you now, haha." William laughed.
Pepper turned her face away, eyes brimming with a mixture of fury and helpless frustration. "I'm just waiting for the day everything crumbles for you. Because it will happen."

Meanwhile, at the Grand Royal Hotel...
Justin Hammer sat alone at a high-end bar, swirling a glass of expensive red wine between his fingers. His mood was sour, the alcohol barely taking the edge off his frustration. That devil William had upended everything, and now even his backup plans were failing one after the other. Nothing was going his way.
He sighed, leaned back in his chair, and was about to order another drink when he caught sight of a familiar face entering the lounge.
"Well, well," Justin said, instantly straightening up with a gleam in his eye. "If it isn't Tony Stark himself. Been a while, hasn't it? You're looking sharp—considering the rumors."
Tony stopped in his tracks, his expression icy. "Do me a favor and vanish."
"Ouch," Justin said, mock-offended. He stepped closer and patted Tony's shoulder with exaggerated sympathy. "This really hurts my heart." Justin put a hand on Tony's shoulder, "Brother, don't be sad." He spoke. "Come on, brother. No need to be bitter. Everyone hits rock bottom sometimes. I mean, your house burns down, your Expo turns to dust, and your personal secretary—"
Tony glared.
Justin raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright. I'm just saying, have a drink, lighten up. We're all survivors in this game."
"I said—get lost," Tony snapped, voice low and deadly.
Unbothered, Justin turned his attention to the striking woman standing beside Tony. She wore a sleek crimson gown and an unreadable expression, her eyes calmly assessing the situation.
Justin gave a half-smile. "And this must be your new assistant? I could've sworn it used to be Miss Potts. But then again, I heard someone else snatched her away. My memory isn't what it used to be."
He leaned in a bit, clearly trying to provoke a reaction. "So, what's your name, beautiful?"
The woman responded coolly, her voice like silk over steel. "Natasha Romanoff."
Justin's smile faltered for a brief moment, recognizing the name. Then he laughed awkwardly and stepped back. "Well, it's been great seeing you both. Really. Catch you around."
Tony didn't answer. Natasha simply watched as Justin retreated, her expression unreadable.
