X-ray Eyes Little Wild Doctor-Chapter 141 - 136: Do You Know What You Did Wrong?
Chapter 141: Chapter 136: Do You Know What You Did Wrong?
As for the man known as Hungry Tiger, Ye Tian bore him no grudge or enmity, and found no pleasure in killing him. Moreover, the latter made it clear that should Ye Tian spare his life, he would be eternally grateful and indebted.
Ye Tian still had to contend with that sly devil, the King of Hell - with such a formidable enemy at hand, now was not the time to make new ones.
Furthermore, Hungry Tiger was extremely respectful toward Ye Tian, admitting his fault and kneeling to apologize the moment he recognized Ye Tian. His attitude of repentance was very sincere, and Ye Tian did not wish to be unyielding where he was in the right, so he simply let him live.
However, a capital offense might be spared, but a lesser offense could not escape punishment.
If he did not teach him a harsh lesson this time, if he did not make an example out of him, every Tom, Dick, and Harry would dare to trouble Ye Tian in the future, and that was not something Ye Tian desired to see.
"Speak, how do you intend to atone? Is it to break your hands and feet, or to cripple your martial arts?" Ye Tian’s expression was cold as he stared directly into Mr. Hungry Tiger’s eyes.
"I..." Mr. Hungry Tiger stammered, not knowing how to answer.
His face was ashen, his lips slightly purple - a result of his heart pounding wildly. Faced with the legendary King of Dark Night, it was hard for him not to be afraid.
Ye Tian snorted coldly, "Can’t think of anything, don’t have the heart to do it, is that it? Well then, I’ll help you!"
"I beg the King of Dark Night to spare me just this once. I really had no idea you were Ye Tian. Otherwise, even if I had the courage of a bear and the gall of a leopard, I would not have dared to trouble you, sir. Please, I’m begging you."
Mr. Hungry Tiger begged on his knees, head banging on the ground, each knock filled with ferocity. The cold tile floor echoed with the sound, and it didn’t take long for his forehead to break open, blood flowing over his eyes, a truly pitiable sight.
Ye Tian nodded in satisfaction, "Seeing your genuine remorse, I will not make this too difficult for you. You only have yourself to blame for not recognizing who I am, and no one else. I shall reward you with a Dragon-whisker Needle then."
The Dragon-whisker Needle!
It was actually the Dragon-whisker Needle!
A glimmer of terror flashed in Hungry Tiger’s eyes.
Those who lurk in the dark world all know that the Dragon-whisker Needle is the King of Dark Night’s unique skill, capable of both saving lives in medicine and taking lives in murder.
Once the Dragon-whisker Needle is in the body, it absolutely makes life worse than death.
Moreover, it is quite peculiar, lurking within the meridians and only causing distress periodically, but once it does, it’s unendurably painful.
In the whole wide world, other than the King of Dark Night himself, absolutely no one else could remove it. Even if you traveled the length and breadth of the world and sought out all the renowned doctors and miracle workers, it would be to no avail.
Ye Tian’s hand flipped, and a silver needle adhered to his palm. The slender needle thin as a strand of hair looked incredibly terrifying.
With a flick of his finger, the silver hair-thin needle flew out, silently burrowing into Hungry Tiger’s face, following a specific meridian channel to his head. Then it lay dormant, making no further movement.
Hungry Tiger was already sweating profusely in pain. This top assassin, indifferent to human life, now resembled a fallen child, with tears in his eyes, on the verge of crying.
One can only imagine the domineering pain brought by the Dragon-whisker Needle, something no ordinary person could withstand.
Ye Tian spoke coldly, "Without my summons, you are forbidden to set foot in Jiang City! Scram!"
"Thank you, King of Dark Night, for sparing my life. I am eternally grateful. I will not forget the great kindness and favor you have shown me. Whatever directive you have, I will carry it out with all my might," Mr. Hungry Tiger said while kowtowing reverently to Ye Tian. After performing these acts of contrition, he then stood up and quietly backed away, not daring to utter any superfluous words.
As he navigated the steps, Mr. Hungry Tiger, in his panic, tripped over them and tumbled to the ground, soiling his expensive Tang suit.
"Sir, don’t go, what will I do if you leave, come back! Come back quickly!"
Wang Bingbing was almost at the brink of tears. Hungry Tiger was her trump card against Ye Tian, and now that he was leaving in such a defeated way, she truly didn’t know how to face Ye Tian.
Bounty assassin Mr. Hungry Tiger, scared witless by Ye Tian, left in such a disheveled state, disappearing from the crowd’s view without so much as a farewell, not even having time to pick up his plane ticket. His hasty and frantic departure made Wang Bingbing instantly lose her pillar of support.
Ye Tian smirked as he stared at Wang Bingbing, "Little maid, your audacity is increasing. Daring to hire Hungry Tiger against me, hmph, it seems you haven’t been properly disciplined yet."
Feeling unsettled by his lascivious gaze, Wang Bingbing asked, "What, what are you going to do?"
Had it been before, Wang Bingbing might have quarreled fiercely with Ye Tian and said a few harsh words to confront him, but now, knowing Ye Tian’s true identity, she didn’t even have the courage to retort.
The King of Dark Night was absolutely a legendary figure. Even a top expert like Mr. Hungry Tiger had to kowtow and beg for mercy at the sight of him. Wang Bingbing knew she was not as skilled as Hungry Tiger, and facing a powerhouse like Ye Tian, resistance was utterly futile.
"Heh, what am I going to do? That’s a good question," Ye Tian said with a devilish smile, word by word, "Screw you!"
With that, his figure suddenly flashed, and he appeared right in front of Wang Bingbing. He picked her up over his shoulder, then with a light tap of his toes on the ground, Ye Tian turned into a gust of wind and vanished from the VIP room.
Wang Bingbing only felt the wind whistling by her ears. Ye Tian’s steps were light and fast. With a few twists and turns, he had burst out of the Liuli Bar and started racing down the streets at high speed.
Once on the main road, Wang Bingbing realized just how terrifying Ye Tian’s speed was. He didn’t seem to be carrying a person while running; it was more like flying through the air. It reminded her of the Flash’s speed from the movies, not any less astounding.
They sped through the city at breakneck speed, the wind they kicked up swirling fallen leaves off the ground. Pedestrians on the street thought it was just natural wind; they couldn’t see them whooshing past.
It was at this moment that Wang Bingbing truly understood the extent of Ye Tian’s strength—it was terrifying!
His physical ability surely had reached the limit of human capacity, and there were signs it even surpassed that limit. The idea that he was nearly a divine being wasn’t far-fetched at all.
"Ye Tian’s power is too domineering!"
Wang Bingbing genuinely regretted her past actions. Had she known how fearsome Ye Tian was, she would never have crossed him; such a superhuman was someone you’d desperately want on your side.
About half an hour later, Ye Tian arrived at an underground parking garage. He threw Wang Bingbing into the trunk of a car.
Wang Bingbing’s vision was suddenly pitch black; she could see nothing. All she could hear was the rumble of the car engine as it started, and then it drove off. She screamed and shouted in the trunk, desperately seeking help from outside, but sadly, no one could hear her.
The dilapidated car continued to drive, and at some point, the road became rugged and bumpy. Wang Bingbing was jolted around inside the trunk, the nausea surging inside her, petrol fumes invading her nostrils. She was on the verge of vomiting.
She had a bad premonition in her heart that they had definitely left the city. She thought to herself that this was truly the end. Her subordinates, a bunch of good-for-nothings, would be even less likely to find her now. An unprecedented sense of helplessness was driving Wang Bingbing to the brink of madness.
Surrounded by darkness, Wang Bingbing grew more and more frightened. The typically haughty Ice Snow Queen was now sobbing like a wronged girl next door.
After quite some time, the car suddenly stopped. Ye Tian carried Wang Bingbing out of the trunk and into a room.
Wang Bingbing was rudely thrown onto a big bed, and only then did she realize she was in a bedroom.
The room was small, filled with a foul, fishy smell. The walls were plastered with risqué posters, the bedside table was piled with Durex, and the double bed was surprisingly large, covered with blue and white checkered bedding. Next door, unrestrained moaning noises could be heard.
This place looked nothing like a high-end hotel; it more closely resembled a motel in the outskirts of the city. A few unpleasant dog barks from outside further confirmed Wang Bingbing’s suspicions.
"What are you going to do to me?" Wang Bingbing was truly scared now.
"Screw you." Ye Tian said with that devilish smile on his lips, as he began to undress.
Wang Bingbing nearly fainted.
This place, detached from heaven and disconnected from earth, was clearly a rough district rife with delinquency. If Ye Tian really forced himself on her, she would have nowhere to go to report the crime.
Looking further into grim possibilities, even if Ye Tian decided to dismember her, no one would discover it. Perhaps years later, her decomposed body might be dredged up from the mud at some pond, by then it would be too late for anything.
Without the familiar big city around her, Wang Bingbing fell from her Ice Snow Queen pedestal to a helpless girl. All the influence she once wielded was useless in this muddled and confusing place.
Ye Tian quickly stripped off his shirt, gazing at Wang Bingbing with his bare chest and an evil smile. "Head north and there’s a fish pond; after I’m done, I’ll just toss you into the fish pond, and nobody will find out."
The fact he said that was scary enough, but then he actually pulled out an electric saw and an axe from under the bed, frightening Wang Bingbing out of her wits. She thought it was truly the end. He really was going to dismember her!
In this room where neither heaven nor earth would respond, Wang Bingbing was genuinely terrified.
Finally, she put aside her queenly pride, knelt before Ye Tian with a choking voice, pleading, "Please spare me, I won’t dare to do it again. It’s all my fault, I will apologize to you. Please, don’t kill me!"
Ye Tian thought, ’You stinking girl, finally realized you’re afraid? I’ve taken so much trouble just to hear you say this.’
All that Wang Bingbing had endured was purposefully orchestrated by Ye Tian. There was no other meaning behind it. He simply wanted to demonstrate with his actions that if Ye Tian really wanted to eliminate her, it would be effortless.
From the tears in Wang Bingbing’s eyes, her fear wasn’t an act; she was truly scared.
This action was surprisingly effective; the once untouchable Ice Snow Queen had finally been tamed.
"Do you realize your mistake?" Ye Tian, exuding the majesty of a king, looked down upon Wang Bingbing on the ground, to see if she dared to cause any more trouble.
